Zara Phillips, and her horse, Toytown, are set to star in a supermarket advertising campaign.

Zara, who was recently named the 2006 BBC Sports Personality of the Year and received an MBE for her success in the equestrian field, and her horse, are the faces of Cortaflex, a joint supplement used to treat horses and humans. The pair will appear in a television campaign for the product, which will be sold by the retail giant, Tesco.

This announcement follows Zara’s recent bout of appendicitis. The young royal is reported to have undergone a “routine operation” following stomach pains earlier in the month.
