Three royals have been named amongst the 50 Most Stylish Brides by upmarket Conde Nast Brides magazine.

Topping the list as the most stylish bride was Grace Kelly, the Hollywood icon who married Prince Rainier in 1956. Designer Oscar de la Renta has said:

On her wedding day, Grace Kelly gave new meaning to the word ‘icon’. Her whole look, from the regal veil to the feminine lace details and the conservative gown, made her an ageless bride.

Diana, Princess of Wales, was ranked 5th in the list for her ivory pure silk taffeta and lace gown created by David and Elizabeth Emmanuel.

Also getting a nod was Princess Margaret who married Lord Snowdon in 1960 in a Norman Hartnell gown.
