Feature: Partying with the Princes
Like other twenty-somethings their age when the day is done, the two princes, William and Harry like to party at London’s trendiest nightspots. Whether it’s knocking back Crackbaby shots at Boujis, Harry chatting to Madonna about her upcoming tour, Chelsy Davy and Kate Middleton tearing up the dance floor at the Cuckoo Club or Prince William flexing his muscles in a Superman suit at Mahiki, let’s take a tour of London’s hot spots for the young royals…
Mahiki - www.mahiki.com

Based over two floors - upstairs the elegant Lanai Lounge, and downstairs the chilled-out, tiki-themed Aloha Room. The Aloha Room features a retro vibe with glassed in gardens and aloha prints adorning the walls. On the menu at this trendy Mayfair hangout are pina coladas (Kate’s favourites..) served in real pineapples! Don’t miss the coconut grenades served in, you guessed it, real coconuts.
There’s no guestlist so next time you’re in London stop by for your chance to rub shoulders with royalty. Seen in Mahiki’s - Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Madonna, Sting, Tommy Hilfiger.

The Cuckoo Club - www.thecuckooclub.com

Appealing to the descerning nightclubber, The Cuckoo Club features two levels - restaurant on the ground floor, bar/dancefloor in the basement. The club’s centrepiece is a giant waterbed which makes for an intimate and entertaining evening out. It was here that Prince William was set upon by a young admirer who wasted no time planting one on his lips.

The Pig’s Ear - The Pig’s Ear

The Pig’s Ear was given the royal seal of approval in 2005 when Kate and Wills popped in with friends for a meal. The ‘Gastropub’ serves up meals which would best be described as upmarket - Sevruga Caviar served with Classic Garnish & Warm Blinis, Roast Wood Pigeon Stuffed with Portobello Mushrooms & Garlic with Pancetta and Quince, Salchichon Iberico with Paprika, Almonds & Luque Noir Olives.
Situated just off the river in Chelsea it’s the perfect place for dinner then an evening stroll, with your charming prince. Be careful not to knock a pint over - according to the owner you could bump into two types of customers “The young, nifty, well-dressed, groovy type who knows a bit about wine, and the ghastly Hooray Henry, who just drinks lager and cheap wine, and watches rugby.”
