Former Boss Of Kate Middleton To Star On The Apprentice
A former boss of Kate Middleton is a contestant on the television program, ‘The Apprentice’, set to return to UK screens on 28 March.
27-year-old Rory Laing, a bankrupt entrepeneur, previously ran an upmarket catering firm named ‘Snatch Bar’ that hired public school-educated bar staff to work at exclusive events like the Henley Regatta and Cowes Week.
Laing hired Kate Middleton in the summer of 2002, whilst she was studying at St Andrew’s University in Scotland alongside Prince William.
Laing had previously described Kate as “the perfect barmaid”.
I pay her only £5.25 an hour. But she’s pretty, so she takes plenty in tips. She was fantastic. She was hand-picked to work at the Snatch Bar. She is just Berkshire’s most beautiful woman. She’s a terrific girl. We wanted her to work more because she was just incredible, beauty-wise.
Mr Laing obviously thought very highly of Kate - let’s see what Alan Sugar makes of him in the weeks to come.
