Chelsy Davy is hoping Prince Harry will be thinking of her while he is on a six month deployment to Iraq.

To ensure that he does, Chelsy, 21, has bought Harry a parting gift – a £20,000 diamond encrusted Jacob & Co. watch. The designer watches with an off-the-scale BLING factor are much favoured by celebrities such as David Beckham, P Diddy, J-Lo and Madonna. Prince Harry has reportedly settled on a more classy and subtle version than perhaps P Diddy owns!

The watch has a crocodile leather band and the monochrome face displays three timezones surrounded by sparkling diamonds. The watch is sure to be a talking point at one of Harry’s many “going away” parties however we’re not so sure about wearing it while on patrol in Iraq!

One of Chelsy’s close pals said;

“Chelsy wanted to get Harry something very special as a going-away gift and a watch is ideal. Every time he looks at it he’ll think of his girlfriend back home. It’s obviously a difficult and slightly worrying time for both of them, especially after all the publicity surrounding the death threats against him. Chelsy just wanted to bring a smile to Harry’s face before he went to war. It’s also quite sweet as he’s wanted one of those watches for quite a while now, but never actually bought one for himself.

Chelsy picked up on this and splashed a lot of cash to make her man happy.”

Prince Harry, 22, is expected to join his fellow Blues and Royals troops, already deployed, on a six month tour of duty before the end of the month.
