Kate & Wills Romantic Highland Getaway
Besotted Prince William is to show his renewed love for Kate Middleton by whisking her away for a romantic holiday at a remote Scottish cottage.
William, 25, has promised Kate a “just the two of us” break at the simple three bedroom home he owns at Birkhall on the edge of the Queen’s Balmoral estate.
During the day the sporty couple will enjoy canoeing and mountain bike riding in the surrounding hills. At night they will share cosy candlelit dinners in the cottage, called Tam-na-Ghar, that was given to William by his great-gran, the Queen Mother before she died.
The break is the Prince’s response to an ultimatum by Kate, 25 - that he must show his commitment second time round.
A highly-placed source told The People:
William knows that unless he gives Kate a clear signal he intends to marry her this time she will leave him for good.
He will do anything to win her back and has chosen Birkhall, where they have spent many of their happiest weekends together, as the perfect place to show how serious he is. It makes her feel like a proper princess when she stays there in the shadow of Balmoral where she first met the Queen.
And taking her there will be William’s first step in repairing the damage he caused to her pride when he dumped her so publicly.
The cottage is in the heart of Birkhall, the Queen Mum’s 14-bedroom lodge and 50,000- acre estate which she left to Charles on her death in 2002.
William and Kate have stayed at the cottage many times since they first started dating six years ago. And it appeals to their shared love of the windswept outdoors. (via The People)

I’m glad that they have a chance to go somewhere romantic. I have always believed that us men should take our women places that are romantic.
