Kate Middleton Drops Engagement Hint

Kate NiddletonWhen will Kate Middleton and Prince William make that move and walk down the aisle? Will it really ever happen? Some reports are taking what Kate said over the weekend as a definite hint that she indeed does expect to get hitched to Wills and it may be in the near future. People news UK reports that Kate let slip that she may already have plans for her hen night.

The report notes that Kate spoke to “The People” reporter as she danced with a crowd of brides-to-be at London club Mahiki. The pretty brunette confirmed with a smile: “No, it’s not my night.” Then she added intriguingly: “Not yet.

She made it clear she would never go for anything too outrageous or overstated when it comes to her turn for a pre-wedding bash. She said: “It’s much better when hen nights are a bit toned-down. “It’s a few of the girls’ hen nights tonight, and they’ve been quite civilized so far. But we’re all having a really good time.”

A royal source told The People: “The fact that Kate told your reporter ‘not yet’ is the clearest indication that her relationship with William is not just back on track, but going from strength to strength. Things are very different now. Wills realized what a mistake he made in dumping Kate, but she has told him she would only come back on her terms. (via National Ledger)

I don’t think people should get crazy and excited over this. It was just a hint and I’m sure William & Kate will get married but we still haven’t seen them together since the concert and I think we just wait until we get a official notice from them. They are taking it slow and that’s what they should do.

Does the British public really want a marriage between the second-in-line and his on-off-on girlfriend who are already having relationship problems? They’ve broken up at least three times. How desperate are people for a royal wedding that they want to force William to marry a woman he clearly does not want to marry? Why force this young man into an early marriage with someone he doesn’t love enough? Kate has been chosen by the tabloid press, not by William to be his bride. That in itself makes her bad for him. I wish he would just drop her and find someone else he does love enough.

Oh, God, I hope he doesn’t marry her.
She’s fine now as a filler girlfriend, but I think he needs someone more understanding of his life and circumstances, with a better head on her shoulders, as a wife. Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg, given a few years, perhaps?

Well now they are holidaying together. So I have a feeling that they are in this for a long time and I’m glad that they are.
