Kate & Wills holiday on Most Romantic Island in the World

William, 24, and sweetheart Kate, 25, have romantic exclusive Desroches Island in the stunning Seychelles all to themselves for a week.

Desroches Island ResortDesroches is described as the most romantic island in the world. And insiders reckon the palm-fringed sandy beaches on the Indian Ocean will provide an irresistible setting for the Prince to propose.

A source told The Sun: “William was desperate to spend some quality time alone with Kate. The island is perfect as it is so private.

And significantly, when the couple have gone away before, pals of Wills like Guy Pelly tagged along. This time the young sweethearts — back together after a split in April — are determined to be alone.

William flew to the Seychelles capital Mahe on Wednesday. Kate travelled a day earlier. They took separate seaplane flights to Desroches. They are expected to spend their week together enjoying swimming, snorkelling and bike rides through the lush island.

An online advert for the resort reads: “There exist on Earth few places that can truly be described as paradise.

“Imagine a small Island, 6km long and 1km wide, acres of shady coconut palms fringed by 14km of white sandy beaches, lapped by crystal clear turquoise waters sheltered by the encircling reef. That paradise is Desroches Island.”

Desroches Island ResortThe 20 guest suites on the island cost around £500 a night and the resort has been a magnet for rich couples since opening in 1990. Past visitors have included Richard Branson and Tony Blair and their families.

Friends claimed Wills and Kate actually kissed and made up just hours after announcing to the world that they were no longer an item. But they decided to keep their reunion secret to enjoy time together out of the limelight.

In April they hit the rocks because Kate demanded more commitment. By taking her to paradise, Wills could not have made his change of heart more clear. (via The Sun)

I’m glad for them. It’s good for them to be alone. It’s also good that their friends is not tagging along. William inspires us all guys to more romantic to our women.

I think they will definitely get married when they both are ready. Kate seems to be extremely well-adjusted, grounded, and sensible and living her life to the fullest, and I don’t think she’s pressuring William into anything. They seem to be very much in love and will take the next step when the time is right. Having the island to themselves must have been heavenly.

It will be very interesting to see exactly how this holiday panns out. Such a firm announcement so far in advance may be pure guess work based on previous years. Why give newspapers time to get reporters in place ? In any case William’s Christmas and New Year Schedule is said to be very full. Interesting point to look out for; watch for William’s visit to Craig houshold in Kenya !?
