They have kept their rekindled relationship under wraps for months – but here, at last, are Prince William and Kate Middleton together again.

A happy-looking Kate – and a rather bleary-looking William – were snapped as they left their favourite nightclub, Boujis, at 2am today.

It is the first time they have been photographed together since they split up in April.

Until now the couple have gone to great lengths to avoid being seen in public together. Now they have allowed themselves to be snapped by the paparazzi going home in the same car – a move which is bound to fuel speculation about their future.

Nothing they do is left to chance and if they are feeling relaxed enough to be seen enjoying a night out together, some royal observers feel that it can only lead to them being more open about their relationship.

Miss Middleton was even seen wearing a sparkling ring on her left hand: it was the middle finger, admittedly, but it will inevitably prompt questions about whether an engagement is on the cards.

When they first got back together William and Kate, both 25, adopted a highly secretive approach to their relationship.

In August, after meeting up at a party in Oxfordshire thrown by their mutual friends the Waley-Cohens, William and Kate decided to go on holiday together to the isolated island of Desroches – a holiday they described as “the best ever”.

The couple enjoyed a week of complete privacy in the Seychelles to celebrate-getting their four-year relationship-back on track.

After dining with staff on their last evening, relaxed William told them: “We will definitely return. We have had the most fantastic break.”

The couple booked almost the whole Indian Ocean island resort at a cost of about £20,000. They went to extraordinary lengths not to be photographed as they scuba dived and sunbathed, even asking for the help of the local military and navy.

The couple were rumoured to have got back together when she appeared in the royal box at the concert in July in memory of Diana.

But unlike Harry and Chelsy Davy – who sat in the front row next to each other and were photographed kissing – William and Kate made a point of sitting apart. (via Daily Mail)
