Peter Fincham, the Controller of BBC One, resigned yesterday after the publication of a damning report outlining a litany of errors that led him to release inaccurately edited footage of the Queen. Prince’s Concert for Diana nets £1.2m – Press Association
Prince William and Prince Harry’s Concert for Diana to mark the 10th anniversary of their mother’s death raised £1.2 million for charity, it has been announced. Eight organisations will receive at least £150,000 each from the proceeds. A Clarence House spokesman said: “Although the event was first and foremost a tribute concert, both Princes William and Harry were keen that any proceeds should be shared among the eight charities which they had selected to be beneficiaries.”…
