True. Even if Kate didn’t work that much, wasn’t very dedicated and took lots of vacations (reported by her co-workers), they gained a lot by having her work there. They got lots of publicity and can say that Kate worked for them.

I think Jigsaw did the best out the time Kate was working there. The free publicity must have been worth heaps!
