I’m sure Kate gets hurt from time to time because of these dumb reports but I know that tries her best not to listen to such reports. She is strong and she has William by her side and that will rotect her from this.
Yup, I agree with Claudius. Kate knows the consequences of dating a prince. I don’t think she’s happy all the time, but she tries to keep smiling to the press, although sometimes covering her face when she feels fed up.
I believe Kate doesn’t want to be “a royal doormat”. It’s sickening to hear/read bad comment(s) from someone who doesn’t even know who you truly are…
Chelsy, welcome to the real world. It’s sad, but whoever dates the prince(s) must realize that she has to “give more” to keep the relation in place. And since Harry seems to be a very immature person, the girlfriend cannot be less immature than him.
Kate seemed so promising as she graduated from University… but in my opinion, has sorely disappointed me. At this point, it appears she convinced William to stay at University so she could “trap” him. Since graduating, she has been largely unemployed, shopping, clubbing, and “jetting off” on holiday. She’s revealed her true colors as a spoiled gold digger who is willing to follow Prince William around in the hope he will ask her to marry him. I feel bad for the British Taxpayers that will give their hard earned money to this girl to perpetuate this ridiculous life-style she leads. (p.s. I am impressed that Chelsea Davy has the wear with all to dump Harry and pursue a law degree even though she too has a Daddy with lots of money!)
I try to think positive & leave the harsh comment behind. Has anyone think that it might be hard for Kate to get a real job bcoz of her status? Company who would like to hire her might use her for granted. Or, it has to provide certain security efforts and having tight-lip staffs who’ll not divulge her every move. I understand reading an article saying that her work days at Jigsaw treated special as she has to cope with Will’s schedule.
As I said before, whoever dating the prince must ‘give more’ to maintain the relationship as numbers of girls are ready to fill in her space anytime if she flanks it. Chelsy is doing (or did) it by moving out of her hometown and put up with Harry’s attitude. Kate is doing it by stand up by her man and put up with harsh critics.
I’m wondering if Chelsy grads someday, I think she’ll be in a period of jobless too as she needs not any money bcoz of her wealthy parents. If she’s still dating Harry then, she’ll also be trapped in the ‘near-to-be-a-real-princess-soon’ situation like Kate that will make her hard to find a job.
Don’t you think that both William and Harry will never respect a woman who thinks “she needs to give more in a relationship”?
Kate could get whatever job she wants, and yet she chooses not to work. No matter where she works, the company will get the publicity that she works there, just like Jigsaw did, that is a given.
What concerns me is that her coworkers made comments saying she was never committed, took an inordinate amount of time off for vacations, and was always treated as a special case. If you’re going to get a job, you should commit and not take off excessive time for vacations. She was only required to work 3-4 days a week, so I don’t see why she needed so much time off in the first place.
Chelsy might be jobless for a little while after she graduates, but she is already looking at career fairs, so I doubt she will be jobless for anywhere close to 18 months (like Kate was). Heck, even Pippa already has a job and she just graduated this year. It just goes to show that Kate is lazy and will drain the taxpayer if she becomes Queen.
^^ And it wasn’t Kate that convinced William to stay at university, it was Charles. William said so in an interview.
Dating a royal (especially 2nd & 3rd in-line-to-the-throne), you’re bound to get a few eyes of jealousy here and there. Rude comments or sarcasms were most probably integrated into the daily office/campus rumors and gossips.
Dee, what I mean about to “give more” is to have such determination to stand up for the relationship. Being in the spotlight 24/7, etc., etc.,… In this case, the girls have to be ‘stronger’ than the boys, bcoz those Princes have had this since they were born. Have you ever wonder how hard it would be to be in Kate’s/Chelsy’s shoes? Eeek, no thanks *lol*, I need to live a normal life.
