Zara Phillips to receive MBE from Queen - Telegraph
The Queen will turn proud grandparent later today when she awards Zara Phillips with an MBE at Buckingham Palace. Phillips, 26, is being honoured for services to equestrianism. The Queen’s granddaughter is the first senior royal to receive such an honour, an innovation which apparently required the advice of the royal household on matters of protocol. Phillips, who once appeared in a spread for Hello! magazine, shares a home with rugby star boyfriend Mike Tindall on Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate and the pair are rumoured to be considering marriage…
