Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell yesterday blamed a hoaxer for reports his 23-year marriage was over. He was quoted in a Sunday newspaper as saying wife Maria, 53, had dumped him and was with a new man. But outraged Mr Burrell, 49, said there was “not a shred of truth” in it. He added that an imposter who had been using his identity in internet chatrooms and phone calls for 18 months may have duped American journalist Daphne Barak.

The Sunday Mirror article was certainly heavy on the drug taking angle (there’s always an angle – right?). I thought Tara Palmer Tompkinson put that phase of her life behind her a long time ago?
in america they are saying paul burrel committed perjury.he should probably go to jail for that,and all the other lies he’s told over the years to make money off of diana’s memory.then there is that fayed guy who is now sounding crazy by calling phillip a nzi,and saying toni blair was involved in diana’s death.although I believe the press should have been charged with neglegence in her death, i’m sure william and harry wouldn’t rest until they knew for sure it was an accident.

Will has asked me to pass on his regards to you and all your commentators.
The last ten day or so have been quite difficult for Will and all of us. He is said to be making progress but is very weak and is heavily sedated.
We do not have long term news at present but I will try to keep posting.
I have now taken long term leave of absence to be with him and as he progresses we shall go to his Mum’s home near Geneve and hopefully recuperate.
Will’s illness came on very quickly in the end but I now realize that the signs have been with us for several months.
Again please accept Will’s best wishes.
