We’ve been busy little bees here at BritishRoyalWedding.com – over the past week we’ve introduced a new banner image to smarten up the website. If you haven’t seen it yet take a look at the top of the page now! We’ve also increased the size of the headings for each post so that they stand out a little more. We think it looks pretty neat and we’re keen to get your feedback!
We’re also trialling avatars for comments (see image below). Gravatars are little images that appear next to your comments – kind of like your own personal signature, except it’s an image… if you get my drift… To add a gravatar to your comments you simply sign up for a free gravatar account which is linked to the email address you use when leaving comments.
In a few simple steps you can create your own 80×80 pixel avatar (PG rated please!) and it will automagically appear whenever you leave a comment. Best of all it will also appear on any other gravatar-enabled blogs that you may visit.

You can visit the gravatar website for more info or just leave us a message and we’ll be happy to help you set it up if you get stuck! Thanks for visiting BritishRoyalWedding.com! – Steven.
Update: I have uploaded some sample avatar images to our Wallpapers page – feel free to use them!

When you sign up for the gravatar service http://site.gravatar.com/signup make sure you use the same email address you use when leaving comments on this website.
I will create and upload some sample gravatars for people to use later tonight.
Test to see if this works… I have uploaded some gravatar images to our Wallpapers page – feel free to use!

do something more simple please, still hav’nt got my confirmation email
Hi Jenny, unfortunately I can’t make it simpler. Gravatars is a feature that I have enabled on this website but it isn’t run by me. It’s created by the same people that wrote the blogging software I use.
When I signed up I received my confirmation email almost immediately then it was very easy – just follow the instructions.
So just to clarify I have installed the gravatar feature on this site but I don’t run the gravatar service.
I hope your confirmation emails arrive soon – Steven
just seeing if it worked
