Prince Harry & Chelsy Davy’s romantic Botswana Safari
Hero Prince Harry has whisked girlfriend Chelsy Davy off to Botswana for a romantic safari after his return from the frontline.
As we predicted last week, they flew to their favourite African hotspot on Wednesday, five days after he got back from lawless Helmand Province in Afghanistan.
The couple have hired a two-storey wooden houseboat on the stunning Okavango Delta, which is famous for its abundant wildlife - and crocodile infested waters. Harry, 23, and Chelsy, 22, went to the same spot last August.
The area of Botswana where they are staying is the perfect hideaway, with 700 square miles of meandering rivers and swamps.
They have been joined by some of Chelsy’s pals, who are staying in a nearby lodge.
The couple, who had agreed to a “cooling off” period after a series of rows, have been inseparable since last Saturday when soldier Harry came back to Britain when his tour of duty was cut short.
A Royal source said: “Harry is in love with Africa and he thought a break in Botswana with Chelsy was the perfect way to recuperate.” (via Sunday Mirror)

Why should it not be true? I think the winter break at Leeds university starts March 14. Chelsy could have just ditched the last two weeks and be off on vacation. And where else would they go but Africa? I always find it funny though how they call all holidays the Princes take with their g/f “romantic” when there’s usually a whole bunch of friends tagging along. I actually hope not to see any pics of this (though I’m just as curious as anybody else) since that would mean that they managed to find the privacy they both seem to crave.

All the news have hit as well as missed the nail. Maybe the lately latest news of both couples have not been exactly hit the nail, and therefore some people will not believe until seeing pics. i.e. just a few hours before PH’s cover blew up, some news site had “Chelsy Davy enjoys Sun & Surf”, a few hours later this news dissapeared. Other unconfirmed news are later on to be prooved not true by confirming the supposed activity.
Anyway like Trixie says, and just because IMO, since PH/CD have been in that safari location before, why not. What I don’t like is most likely some student will start the bad writting on the wall saying “CD has special priviledges and with the excuse of seeing PH, they gave her permission leave”, after all she is in grad school and I know how it is, you just don’t get or want to get special permission only upon a real emergency. PH is an emergency

good for them, spending some quality time together. harry seems to enjoy his trips to africa, so this should be a burst of fresh air.

no it’s not true at all. harry spent his “gap” year in zimbabwe, and they were introduced through a friend of a friend, sort of thing.

Nice for them to have an idyllic break in sunny Africa, but wonder how the relationship is going to hold up on a daily basis in grey, gloomy England? That’s the true test - and they made a pig’s ear of the last one. It remains to be seen if the ginger binger has grown up yet.
