Reports that Prince William has put his relationship with Kate Middleton on hold while he completes his military training are clearly wide of the mark.
Yesterday the pair enjoyed a leisurely Sunday lunch at the Builders Arms, a gastro-pub just off the King’s Road in Chelsea.
The couple have scarcely been seen since William joined RAF Linton-on-Ouse, North Yorks, but there was no mistaking their continued affection for one another as they arrived at the pub – a short stroll from Kate’s London flat.
William, wearing his familiar baseball cap, and Kate, in jeans and boots, asked for a discreet table at the back of the pub where they were joined by another couple.
After their presence was telegraphed to paparazzi, the Prince spirited his girlfriend away through a rear entrance. (via Daily Mail)

I don’t know whether to believe this though. Why would William need to buy a house in London? The RF has God knows how many places there. Maybe Kate is looking for something new for herself.

If she’s living it, she’s affording it since she was born (best schools, on/off with PW, etc).
I doubt they’re going to buy a house at this moment in time. Firstly William isn’t around and I don’t see how Kate will be able to afford a £2,000,000 house. Her parents can’t be that well off. Plus if she’s working near her parents house will she ever use it. Unless they get married in which case I would have thought a house would be automatically given to them by the Royal family. They were probably just having a look nothing very interesting.
Plus I wouldn’t call the pub lunch romantic his friends were there after all. They were probably just catching up.
P.s. Easter is on 23rd March this year and rumour is that these two are due to go off skiing with Charles. I reckon Easter is the most likely time they’ll do it. So we’ll probably get some news in 2 weeks time.
As they might not, they might yes purchase a house perhaps for investment purpose to sell later on, the prices have gone down, and it would be the right moment to purchase and sell 10 years from now. On the other hand, PW does share an apartment with his brother PH, and maybe PW does want a more private place of his own – all plausible theories.
Probably get news, nevertheless, both seem to have reached a low key – out of the limelight agreement ?! Even though I’d wish to see pics of both of them, maybe I’d also wish not to – just for their privacy sake – if they ever get engaged/married they will never have the privacy again.

Andrew and Fergie had a house built just for them when they married, so it’s possible that William and Kate would forego an existing Royal residence for a home more to their personal liking.

HAHAHAHA ….and I, for one, don’t believe a word of this story because its just sounds to ridiculous for words and it reads like a local community advertisment for a realty company. They had brunch at a local famous pub, then strolled the area “house hunting”, I mean, come on it described the value of the houses but what gets me is that William has a choice of palaces and estates in different countries, Scotland, Wales, England, do you really believe of man of his wealth and background would even have to “look for a starter house” around 2,000,000, ridiculous, just ridiculous. I have seen in pictures the apartments that they are given and they are no small thing even if you have to share, they are like a house in itself with servants. It sounds like they got a free ad by using William’s name.
I’d like to see the “in” pictures of CH, I’ve seen some “common” areas, nice from the official BRF web site, but not the more “intimate” daily used areas/rooms of PC, Camilla and the Boys.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the couple they were with were looking at the house and asked Will and Kate to come and have a look. People then decided that it was William and Kate that were buying a house. I agree with Amy. Why would Wills want to buy a house when he has the choice of some of the finest accommodation in UK.
That is true Jess. But William is just a different guy and they maybe looking for a house. But I have a feeling that they will settle for one of the royal estates and it may not be the big ones like Windsor, Balmoral or Sandringham but a cottage on one of the estates. I do think it will be better for them. They just don’t need the paps following them to their doors in the city. That would be too much for anyone royal or not. I do think the celebs in Hollywood need to build or buy country estates because they can have more privacy their. They just need to take a lesson from the Windsors. William & Kate will figure it out. Clarence House is a nice place but they need a household of their own.
Sorry Rman, but I totally disagree with you about William being that different kind of person.
Firstly, I read that even his mother was quoted as saying the William was like a “caged lion” in city of London and it was she who had encouraged him to spend more time in the country. William is a country boy at heart and would never be looking for general common house next to strange people because he fully understands his destiny.
William will probably have his own village, like the one that the POW is referbishing, it has its own private chapel which sounds more like William to me.
The security issues alone surrounding a local property for William such as a “starter house” would present the police force with a major headache.
I wonder why people/tabs are trying to make William out to be a “commoner” but so long and the British public, itself, doesn’t believe the tabs’ lies then its alright I suppose.
I’m from the US and this story just sounds like total rubbish to me and only a clever realty advertisment, nothing more.

I very much doubt they are searching for a home together. I always love how Richard’s articles have no real proof to them, only an un-named source. You can’t really list crediblity to Kay’s name.
I disagree, Richard Kay’s articles are not 100 percent accurate but he’s around when stating a sighting. The thing is that in this latest “addition” he clearly specifies a “reader” has told me…meaning that a reader is a reader.

Amy, what I mean is William has a different personality. And I did say that he would probably set up a home on one of the Queen’s estates but on a cottage or so. William & Kate living in the city would be too much for them because of the paps. Whatever place they live at woould be nice and fit for a future King.

Well William and Kate have a big future around this year I hope he will pop the question to Kate soon. I hopefully know that William is still thinking if He wants to move in with Kate. They should get engaged now and make home plans!

The press love to target and pressure this couple into marriage stuff, sells more papers to write a one paragraph about W&K then any other significant or random news i.e. bad weather report in UK, Obama wins, and the like !
I agree with Me. I don’t think Wills will pop the question this year. He’s too busy with the armed forces. Plus if they get engaged now they’ll over shadow Peter’s wedding. I think early next year is a possibility for an engagement followed by a summer wedding. That is if they are still together. I think anything is possible with these two. There have been reports of more than one break-up in this relationship so I’m not going to put my money on it until they are officially engaged because I still think this relationship could go either way.
I think it is all down to William at the end of the day and whether or not he feels that it is time to settle down. I think he holds the key when it comes to this relationship. He did say he wanted to wait till he was at least 28/30 before he got married and most of his friends have waited until then to get married. 30 seems to be the right age to get married in his circle. He may go back on his word it’ll all depend on next year and whether he feels he is ready.
I’d rather he took his time and got it right, then marry and divorce 10 years down the line. If Kate is the right girl I think next year could well see them getting married. Though I wouldn’t get excited yet. William is unpredictable and could go either way.

Maybe the Palace doesn’t really see the relationship as solid or really going anywhere, since they see each other only on and off and have already had a super big breakup. I don’t even believe this latest rumour all it is is a photo of a front of a cafe. I think it’s just a all made up.
Why doesn’t KM have a job ? She worked for Jigsaw, 3 days a week, work is work, good for her for striking such a deal, others have or need to work two jobs. As Jenny said, an article stated that she just started working (new job) at an Industrial Estate.

Yes, he is keeping a loe profile as well and he’s very busy. I do understand Joydrop, Jenny beacuse when you don’t see them together in awhile and there’s no photos, it can be very hard to think that they are still together but I’m not worried about them. I just know that they are fine and keeping a low profile for a reason. It’s just good to have the public’s support and know that they are pulling, and praying for you.

Patricia, Sorry I do not speak Spanish. I make it a personal policy to not try to influence people in their decisions. If you write Prince William, he will probably never see the letter as all his mail is screened by a secretary. I would recommend that you keep your knowledge in your heart and pray that he follows God’s will for him. After all, no engagement has been announced so we don’t even know what he wants to do yet.
