Harry & Chelsy to spend Easter together in South Africa
Prince Harry will spend Easter with girlfriend Chelsy Davy and her parents in South Africa.
The couple, now on a romantic African safari in Botswana, will fly to Cape Town on Thursday. They will stay with 22-year-old Chelsy’s millionaire mum and dad William and Beverly at their £800,000 holiday home.
A source said: “Harry and Chelsy are closer than they have ever been.
“The trip to Botswana has made them realise how much they want to be together and Harry is delighted they are going on to South Africa. Chelsy’s parents think the world of him and are looking forward to having them for the holidays.
“When Chelsy and Harry went through their rocky patch it was Beverly who talked her round.”
Harry, 23, who had to return early from serving in Afghanistan has insisted he is back in the UK to see his Blues and Royals comrades fly home on April 5. (via the Sunday Mirror)

Chelsy’s father’s name is charles. And they live in Zimbabwe. Cape Town pad is a “holiday home” or half way house for Chelsy and brother Shaun when visiting mates in Southern africa.

there was an article in ok magazine america saying that they don’t think chelsy would make a good princess,but this is the same magazine that endlessly supports kate ’s social climbing refusal to get a job other than chasing william.atleast chelsy is tryong to further her education .kate just got a new job ,but here she is again on holiday .bet her boss isn’t that impressed with her already asking for time off to go on holiday .no work ethic how can she be a good princess?

I’d so rather be Chelsy than Kate. Chelsy seems to have her head screwed on straighter than Kate does and hasn’t let fame go to her head. Plus she’s so got the better Prince. Wills is boring in comparison to Harry.

I think Chelsy and Kate will make great princesses. Wiliiam & Harry are some lucky guys. They got two beautiful women on their hands and not one of them ever betrayed the boys and they are always there for them.

I’m from America, so please forgive my ignorance on this topic…but in the states when we get info on kate (which is rare) she is always portrayed as being well-liked and adored by EVERYBODY in England…but upon reading this blog, it seems like it is about 50/50 of like vs. dislike. Is Kate not as popular in England, as we are lead to believe in America, or does this site cater to people that are not big on the royal family to begin with, and therefore dislike Kate as well?
By the way…I may not be British, but I do love this site and appreciate the updates since we do not get much of this news in NYC. Keep up the good work!

Well Curious22, this is a great site but there are alot of women on here that don’t like Kate. In reality it’s only their opinions. Kate is liked in England. The public notices that William has choosen a wonderful person to share his life with and the royal family notice that as well. Last year, she got the royal seal of approval from Prince Charles by him taking her out hunting at Balmoral. They hit a rough patch back in April and they ended up splitting. Not too long after that, they were back together so things are going well for them and this site like to cover all the royal romances. Of couse some people don’t like her but there’s one person that does and that’s William and that’s all that matters.

I am from England and whilst I do not like her there are a number of people who do (although I don’t know any personally). However, whilst we cannot dispute that she is probably a lovely girl with a big heart, it is her lack of work and appearence of waiting around that is being portrayed by the media which people dislike. After all everybody’s opinion is only based on the media. I think a true opinion will be formed if Kate marries William.

There certainly is a lot of interest in Kate and William’s relationship. The reason she gets so much attention is the longevity of their relationship (temporary split excepted) and the papers can smell a wedding in the offing.
If you thought Charles and Diana’s wedding was big imagine the frenzy once one of the boys announces they are to be married!
I wonder if Harry is cheeky enough to beat Wills to the post and announce his engagement to Chelsy? I wonder if there is a royal pecking order in these situations?

Steven would Harry have it any other way?Everyone I have talked to has commented on the fact that Harry and Chelsy seem closer to marriage than Wills and Kate. It would be an attention grabber. We can only hope Harry doesn’t drag along Chelsy like his brother has Kate. Either way it works out, I’m sure they will be very happy.

I think that it is somewhat incorrect to assume that Kate is calling the press simply because she is getting more attention than previous royal significant others. We are currently living in a time where people seem to worship all-things “celebrity,” and anybody in the public eye is far more exposed nowadays than at any other point in history. So, yes, we are hearing/seeing a lot more about Kate than Diana but, in the early 80’s, the media was not anywhere near as invasive, popular or lucrative as it is now. I will acknowledge that part of the problem is that a lot of celebrities nowadays do seem to court the attention, and perhaps Kate does to a certain extent, but it is not reasonable to assume that she is calling the papz simply because she is often photographed. Prince William is hugely popular all over the world, and the media knows that there will naturally be a huge interest in all-things relating to him…especially his love life and, ultimately, Kate. William, Harry, Charles and the Queen, are pretty much the only members of the royal family that people know outside of England so of course Kate and Chelsy will receive a ton of press coverage because it can be sold outside of England…whereas stories about Zara and Mike, for example, aren’t going to be as popular because the majority of people living abroad have no idea who they are. So, it may appear that Kate is courting the media more than other members of the royal circle but, in reality, it probably boils down to the fact that the papz can make the most money off of pics of kate, and therefore they seek her out more than the others. Obviously this is just my opinion and Kate may, in fact, be calling the press…but I just thought I’d throw out another point of view…

Like I said, she very well could be doing it, but at the same time there are loads of people out there looking for their 2 minutes of fame…so there could easily be some old school mates or past friends that leak the info to make a few quid…

Marriage is supposed to be a lifelong commitment for a couple. Considering his parents divorce, I am sure that played a huge role in waiting. I do think Kate will be a loyal wife and doubt she has betrayed him to the press. I am quite sure the RF would have found out if she were talking to the media. Has anyone ever heard her speak anywhere? If so, please provide me with a link.

There is no link Maggie, the RF has the “aparatus”, in other words the power to know it all, and if she weren’t any of what you just mentioned, she wouldn’t be there !
