I don’t about you but in these recent ski pics. Neither Wills or Kate look very happy let along stoned.
. William especially is acting very odd. I’ve looked at pics from press websites and William is looking at the ground in most of them. He used to do that when he was little and didn’t want people to notice him or take his picture. Kate looks really fed-up. Makes me wonder what’s up? It may well be the paprazzi present but think there’s more to it than that.

No Jess, William seem to want the paps to go away now. Kate is trying to keep a stiff upper lip. They seem to want to be alone and I don’t blame them. The paps is in their face alittle too much now. And also of course they are happy but the paps seem to only taking pictures of William with his head down. I think they caught one or two pictures with his head up. They need to be left alone.

It’s William’s bodyguard and the RF is paying for it! He would cost just as much if he was spending his time guarding William. There’s no point to go over this issue again and again. She does not and did not get her own RPO. The DM corrected their original story. One of William’s RPO’s was merely accompanying her on the slopes.

If Kate had a job, we would have heard of it by now. We get to hear about all her vacations. I’m sick of the constant comparison of Kate to Diana - Kate doesn’t hold a shadow to Diana, who had the strength at her young age to take on the Monarchy.
Then we presume that because Kate is dating Wills, she has special qualities. But the fact is, she doesn’t! This makes me question William and whether his tastes in choosing Kate. After all, they must get along. He’s just a normal person who was born lucky.

I am also tired of hearing comments such as “Leave them alone! They’re just a pair of young 25 year olds enjoying themselves.”
I don’t accept this fallacy. wills isn’t a private citizen and if he marries Kate, she won’t be either. Wills is an heir to the throne. He should act in a reputable manner - and choose a wife who will be a good Queen. Kate Middleton is not a good role model, and he’s not being one either.
Let’s see: hmm. Prove Kate Middleton is not lazy. Such defenses as “she may have been working in the last few months because no body has seen her” don’t work. Get pictures that show her in a committed job! You can’t! No body can prove she has been working.
And remember a few months ago, when everybody was jumping up and down saying Kate has a job with Testion - which proves she isn’t lazy? Well, there was no job.
Let’s face it: Kate Middleton is lazy and isn’t fit to be Queen. If she is ever queen, the monarchy should be abolished.

It’s so amazing that people on the Royal Anecdotes are always defending Kate Middleton and bashing others for disliking Kate Middleton. The dislikers, they say, make up only 15% of the population, and keep on posting messages on all forums.
Well, 80% of the people defending Kate over on Royal Anecdotes consists of ooh t people…lol! Gigi and John. Yet the Royal Forum and the Royal Internet Forum consist of hundreds of users - and many, many dislike Kate sincerely.

I for myself will judge her work ethic if/when she is indeed a member of the RF. There’s no point complaining about her now anyways since the decision whether she’ll join the firm is William’s and William’s alone. I am more concerned about William’s lack of efforts when it comes to royal duties. Apparently he has more time off from his RAF training than I had expected yet he isn’t seen using any of it for charity work etc. About time he got himself a right royal schedule.

Why is it necessary to bash anyone? I have a suggestion for whoever owns and monitors this site. Let everyone comment on any subject one time and then not repeat that comment. The next time should be something new. That is the way a real conversation is conducted.

It is exactly because of the bashing and nasty comments that several people on this site constantly repeat over and over and over again that I rarely come to this site anymore or make comments. It’s fine to have a point of view but to obsessively bash people like Kate and William is just ridiculous and childish and there needs to be a few new rules on this site. It’s the same few people ruining it for others of us who just would like to comment and discuss.

In general I agree with your words of wisdom and what you have suggested.
Unfortunately it just wouldn’t be practical to monitor the website 24/7 and limit the discussions in such a manner.
All I can do is encourage people not to get involved in arguments and flaming each other.
However, if a post gets personal or is clearly inflamatory I will be removing it.
Again, I’d rather be devoting more time to other things on this website than monitoring comment discussions.
But please feel free to make constructive suggestions on how everyone can have their say here without it turning into a flame war.
PS: I have been slow on getting around to drawing up a comment policy. It will be happening in the next couple of weeks.

Sonia, your view doesn’t make any sense. Millions of people loved Diana - but they don’t know her personally but were attracted to and loved her. She had charisma. Don’t tell me the millions of people crying at her funeral was a sham and their emotions weren’t real.

Marie Duplessis, have you ever considered giving people a chanse? You have already decided how Kate is going to do her job in the Royal Firm.. Maybe she should be given the chanse to prepare, then do the job for a while before you judge her?

not necessarily. the queen decides the titles. when William gets married, he and his wife would not be prince and princess of wales. I can’t remember what I’ve heard his title will become. But when and if he becomes king, his wife will be queen. unless he chooses his fathers route, by marrying, divorcing, and marrying again.

Yes, Williams wife will automatically become a Princess. When Sarah Ferguson married Prince Andrew, she became Princess Sarah. The Queen then made Andrew a Duke, making his wife a Duchess. The same goes for Prince Edward and his family. While he chose not to give his children titles they are the children of a Prince and therefore (should be titled as such) a Prince and Princess. The children of Princess Anne are the only ones who would not be titled, as their father did not hold a title.
If I am wrong in anything I have just written please feel free to correct me. I believe that children in England that are born into a family that holds titles automatically take on their fathers title. Boys inherit titles and girls keep their title until they marry, unless they marry a man who is a title holder. Example of this is Princess Diana. She was born a Lady(Her father was an Earl), was made a Princess (married a Prince) and would have been Queen only when her husband became one.

The hatred on this site and absolutely cruel comments from a couple of people who continue to write the same garbage over and over are making this site a very negative place to come and have civil disagreements and discussions. It is unreal to me that certain people have such a deep hatred of Kate Middleton - you don’t know the woman, you’ve never met her, you never will. If William loves her, she obviously has some good qualities because no one pushes William around and he has a mind of his own.

Everyone is entitled to their point of view and freedom of speech but it’s always the same negative, nasty remarks over and over again. There are so many things to discuss without tearing apart Kate or taking William to task for being with her. Face it - he’s probably going to marry her and if he doesn’t, that’s his choice and I wish him and whomever he marries a lifetime of happiness! So you don’t always have to be negative and cruel. IT’S BORING ALREADY! And it’s not about freedom of speech - it’s just about a few people constantly writing nasty, cruel things about people they don’t know anything about. Did anybody read the Daily Mail today? Apparently Kate is going to Peter and Autumn’s wedding. However, Chelsy is not. She has already been given a invitation. Just shows how well they like her.
Little question though my young age means I don’t understand this: Is it normally for girlfriends to be given a seperate invitation or is it normal practice for the invitation to be given to the relative e.g. HRH Prince William and Miss Middleton?

Kate is the longtime partner of Prince William and their relationship is now on a formal footing. Prince Harry’s relationship with Chelsy is just getting back on track so things will get bettter when their relationship becomes more formal. We all would like to see Chelsy there but we may have to wait for that. I’m sure Harry know all about her not attending and have not made a big deal about it like the media will. They make it seem like Chelsy is sitting at home crying or something.

Chelsy probably had not been invited to Peter and Autumn’s wedding because at the time they probably sent the invitations out, Harry and Chelsy were not seeing each other. Now that they are very much together again, you may see that she ends up being invited after all. And if she isn’t invited, that’s Peter and Autumn’s business - it’s their wedding and their decision.

I am also curious as to where this reporter gets her sources. I do not believe that somebody would have told the press. However, it does sound believable for Kate to receive an invitation, but one that is joined to William. After all I don’t think that she would be invited unless she was dating William. May will be evidence of this. However, I believe that Chelsy and Harry are dating and there is proof of it. But I’m not sure if she will be invited.
