Chelsy snubbed again: No Autumn wedding for the Cinderella of the Royals – Daily Mail
Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy’s joy at being reunited after his tour of duty in Afghanistan has been soured, I can reveal, by a pointed snub by other members of the Royal Family. In a move that has upset the Prince and his 22-year-old Zimbabwean girlfriend, Chelsy has not been invited to the wedding of Princess Anne’s only son Peter Phillips to Autumn Kelly in May…

William’s welcome was shameful – icWales.co.uk
Amid all that excitement, drama and joy at the Millennium Stadium last Saturday was it really necessary to boo Prince William? I have my views on the anachronism that is the role he inhabits and yes, he has been spotted in an England shirt at other rugby matches, but time and place and all that. Behaving with all the social finesse of a Millwall fan every time he appeared on the big screen is not the most effective way of expressing your constitutional opposition…

Princes to raise party millions to help soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan – Daily Mail
Princes William and Harry are planning a glittering party for the richest men and women in Britain – to raise millions for soldiers wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq. Over cocktails and champagne, the Princes will make an unprecedented personal appeal for funds for the Help for Heroes appeal, backed by The Mail on Sunday…

Royal recycler Charles gives favourite ski suit another outing – Hello! Magazine
As he joined his elder son William and the young Prince’s girlfriend Kate Middleton for an Easter ski break at the Swiss resort of Klosters, Prince Charles stepped out in a familiar ski suit. Though the 59-year-old Prince has been snapped in other one-pieces over the years, the blue outfit is arguably his favourite item of ski wear, and has been a firm fixture on the pistes since making its debut at Klosters in 1995…

I think people are getting tired of royalty

  • itsme_jkt #2 - March 25, 2008 at 8:48 am

Why I cannot believe the news that Chelsy’s not invited. I think it might only be rumours. I’m sure Peter&Autumn know Chelsy, she’s the gf of Peter’s direct cousin, for God’s sake. That makes her in the priority list. She couldn’t have been not invited.

  • Jess #3 - March 25, 2008 at 1:20 pm

Well he’s definately my favourite bad boy. Infact it makes him even hotter. Love ya, Harry!

  • B #4 - March 25, 2008 at 2:12 pm

I think that if Kate is invited, Chelsy should be as well. It is only fair as both women have an equal chance of becoming a member of their family.

  • dramaking #5 - March 25, 2008 at 3:03 pm

    nice one b

  • Me #6 - March 25, 2008 at 3:13 pm

I just don’t believe the story – its very rude if the “in” palace circle source who told DM. If it has any “initial” truth about it, she will go with PH with a late invitation.

  • gracen #7 - March 25, 2008 at 7:37 pm

I think william should date some more .before he settles down

  • bluefire #8 - March 25, 2008 at 10:51 pm

.. i think autumn kelly is an adapted daughter of united kingdom, why should she not invite chelsy in her marriage>?
.. chelsy is also the royal girlfriend of prince harry,

  • Me #9 - March 25, 2008 at 10:53 pm

Who knows, its probably a bunch of crap and she will be there with PH

  • bluefire #10 - March 26, 2008 at 5:17 am

maybe she will be there with PH, may be the invitation was delayed.

  • hope #11 - March 26, 2008 at 7:54 am

    she should invite all,or none

  • Princessa April Ann Calleja #12 - March 26, 2008 at 12:15 pm

I think it’s such a shame that Autumn Kelly and Peter didn’t invite Poor chelsy and Harry. I think it would be best if everyone in the royal family got invited not some People.

  • Me #13 - March 26, 2008 at 3:56 pm

The party both Princes are planning to do to raise money for the soldiers has a date ;) The event is scheduled for May 7 at a “secret location in the City of London” — which may turn out to be the Guildhall because of its size.

  • Trixie #14 - March 27, 2008 at 2:26 pm

Princessa Harry will of course be at Peter’s wedding. The DM just speculated that Chelsy won’t.

  • jenny #15 - March 27, 2008 at 3:06 pm

you watch they will raise alot of money, but how much of it really goes where it is sapose to

  • Me #16 - March 27, 2008 at 4:16 pm

Depends on how much sponsorship you receive to de charity events. If all the stage (venue, meal, drinks, people who will work) do it for free (sponsorship), then you have a 100% income that goes to charity, and so and so, like the Concert for Diana – arena (free) famous artist/singers (free), don’t know if the rest of the stage works, sound equipment was free, but since it was for charity, I’d take the risk in saying that they where able to put 80% of the income (tickets sold – full house) for charity and the remaining 20% was to pay the non sponsorships (probably the electricity bill) for that night.

The people who normaly work free for charity do a lot of work, to organize an excellent event you need a minimum of 3 months to do so. I know for experience.

  • Me #17 - March 27, 2008 at 4:21 pm

Ohh and not every one is really willing to work for free…as soon as you do your first charity event and afterwards feel the exhaustion of doing one from scratch, meeting with the big private and public companies, institutions, etc. to see if there is a posibility to receive a free something (sponsorship) – you just noticed that you spent out of your pocket gasoline, cel phone, ink for the printer (to make the requesting sponsorship letter plus the powerpoint presentation) and on and on – only if you decide to put these expenses in the bill as soon as charity money comes in. Thats why team work is very important – you may find people who are expert administrators doing their free time for working free on charity events, the publicist, the engineer, and so forth…

  • jenny #18 - March 27, 2008 at 6:13 pm

when more than 90% percent of what is raised is going to expenses ,and not to the people that it is meant to help is that really charity :?:

  • Me #19 - March 27, 2008 at 6:38 pm

bad management ! Your fired !

  • jenny #20 - March 27, 2008 at 7:32 pm

true how many people do you think harry fired when he found out not all the money was going where it was sapose to

  • Me #21 - March 27, 2008 at 7:39 pm

Non, CH house denied PH furry over it. So what may we believe, that his furry written by the press is false.

  • Grandma828 #22 - March 27, 2008 at 7:40 pm

Here in the US we are always warned about charities that spend too much on administration. One charity that I know spends less than 5% on admin is CFCA. They relie on mostly volunteers. It pays to check things out before you donate.

  • Me #23 - March 27, 2008 at 7:44 pm

Spot on Grandma828, thats what I was referring at my short general explanation on charity.

  • Grandma828 #24 - March 27, 2008 at 7:45 pm

dramaking, if you are tired of royalty, you could just turn off your computer and go find something else to do with your free time. How about reading. There are a lot of excellent books just begging to be read.

  • faith #25 - March 27, 2008 at 7:50 pm

who isn’t tired of royalty telling us how to live better lives, but yet they parade these sex before marriage girlfriends around for years without marring them, and then somehow want us to care about their moral outrages on alot of things.

  • Me #26 - March 27, 2008 at 7:55 pm

welcome to 2008, the real world !

  • faith #27 - March 27, 2008 at 7:56 pm

so they denied harry’s furious over something he should be furious about ,but did not denie engagement rumors .did they say weither chelsy is going to autumn, and peters wedding.

  • Me #28 - March 27, 2008 at 7:56 pm

Anyway, I’m not tired, I’ll keep reading, watching, posting for the fun of it.

  • faith #29 - March 27, 2008 at 8:00 pm

yes 2008 where the president of France hes a naked pictures of herself on the sun.that’s good for our children.real world indead .so are you saying if naked pictures of kate middleton got leaked onto the internet.you would still think she is fit to be a princess?since we are in the real world .2008 lets just give up all our morals

  • jenny #30 - March 27, 2008 at 8:03 pm

I post for the fun of it to.reading all the post are fun .miss will though .does anybody know how he is :?:

  • Me #31 - March 27, 2008 at 8:03 pm

CH denied PH furry because its one of his patronage (work related), the headlines referred to a “work related” of one of his charities that he champions.

I think everyone knows repeatedly said by CH that they do not interfere nor answer questions about the boys PERSONAL LIVES, including rumors and CD not going and I agree with CH. Once they start denying all the rumors written by the PRESS non work related – it will be a daily denial non denial and who wins – the press – making lots of cash and CH will look like a fool. Thank God the monarchy is a solid and the oldest institution within monarchies and know well !

Although they goofed – not badly – but goofed in the State Dinner for the French President when the Queen said “He (Brown) got Lost” LOL

  • jenny #32 - March 27, 2008 at 8:06 pm

you would think someone would be there to guide him .did’nt he work for blair ,he should know his way around by now

  • Me #33 - March 27, 2008 at 8:07 pm

Carla is Carla and its a problem for the French people to solve, if Mr. Sarkozy out of love and pashion married her, its his problem to solve, in fact the latest French polls, his popularity dropped.

IF KM appears in NAKED pics as you might imply – that would be a different and dissapointing story – but and only but since up to date that is just your supposition then NO. To me she is fine example, with a family, studied in the best schools, and is doing things the right way.

  • Me #34 - March 27, 2008 at 8:09 pm

Actually he got lost because he followed orders from the oficials that work for the Queen ! How embarrasing, thats why I mentioned a little goof up from the RF household happens.

Go sit, he went to sit !

  • hope #35 - March 27, 2008 at 11:09 pm

So basically your saying a girl who moons people, lived with another man ,before her relationship to william(william’s good friend, and roomate) is a fine example of doing things the right way?

  • Lydia Lilli #36 - March 28, 2008 at 2:57 am

HOPE – I guess you never met anyone who did ridiculous things in their 20′s. We’ve all been down that road and then with time, hopefully we grow up and learn from our past mistakes. So what – Kate mooned some people. Like Harry and William never did anything stupid such as Harry wearing a Nazi outfit and a swastika armband or William and Harry having too much to drink, smoking pot, groping women’s breasts.
So what if Kate had a relationship before William? Like William and Harry haven’t had their share of women and cheated on their girlfriends.
Give people a break – people do dumb things, especially young people so stop condemning Kate for the past when there are so many people around her, especially the Royal Family themselves that have done far more foolish and cruel things to others.

What in the world is Patricia Barros saying? Please translate.

  • maddie #39 - March 28, 2008 at 1:42 pm

Well said Lydia Lilli. There is such a double standard when it comes to women. Some people think it is okay for men to do all these things but women are still condemned for such behavior.Patricia I think you are confusing Autumn Kelly with Kate Middleton. Autumn Kelly is a Canadian born Catholic. You need to go to Wikipedia and type in Kate Middleton and read the biography.

  • maddie #40 - March 28, 2008 at 1:53 pm

  • hope #41 - March 28, 2008 at 3:14 pm

ok I read the link it does imply she is catholic, but elsewhere on other sites it says she either does not believe in god ,is babtized in the church of england ,but does not addend on regular basis.

  • hope #42 - March 28, 2008 at 3:20 pm

patricia-the only way your going to get anybody who loves kate on this site to listen is to get some dirt on her ,and post it on the internet.other than that they think it’s ok to moon people, get drunk on a regular basis, and not have job.

  • Me #43 - March 28, 2008 at 3:43 pm

Hope, the mooning was said by supposed friend to the Press and there was/is no proof, its not true she gets drunk on a “regular” basis, and you nor I don’t know if she doesn’t have a job or assists the family business.

Perhaps, the comments you implied in your second post (which by the way your first one, I agree) make Patricia’s around the world get their ideas (since her idea of KM was linked to a FORUM discussion).

Naa Patricia, your source is a FORUM. Wikipedia is a serious dictionary/Encyclopedia. If your source would be true, be sure it would have hit all the news, tabs, media, etc. faster than light.

  • Grandma828 #49 - March 30, 2008 at 2:40 pm

Everyone should get a good history of the royal family back to King Edward III. You will find many, many instances of children out of wedlock with mistresses and messy marriages. I don’t think the royal family has ever said that they were an example of morality. When Charles got married the Archbiship of Canterbury, who married them, said it was an arranged marriage and we all know what a disaster that was. Charles had also made the remark that he wasn’t going to be the first Prince of Wales without a mistress. Let’s hope Prince William is marrying for love and the marriage lasts like Queen Elizabeth’s has. I don’t read the tabloids and since I don’t know either PW or KM, I can only hope they are making the correct choice for them. Marrying love is a lot different from infatuation and they have been going together long enough to get past the infatuation stage.

  • maddie #50 - March 30, 2008 at 2:49 pm

well said grandma 828. I believe it is best they have taken time to be together to see if they are right for one another for marriage. Very smart! one should never rush into marriage. I am quite sure they have already planned their future together

  • dramaking #51 - March 30, 2008 at 2:51 pm

since princes don’t seem to believe in fedelity do you really think kate would stay married to him if he cheated ? no so why marry her if she is the one in charge?

  • Grandma828 #52 - March 30, 2008 at 3:15 pm

dramaking, PW saw the results of his parents, lets hope he sees things differently than his Dad. I suspect that Charles has even warned him about the pitfalls of not being in love. I watched both the wedding to Diana and the blessing to Camillia. Charles’s demeanor was as different as daylight and dark. You could really tell which woman he loved. What makes you think Kate is in charge? Nothing I have seen says so and I try not to listen to gossip as it is notoriously wrong. We do not know what is going on behind closed doors. All we can do is hope and pray that they are making the correct choice. I personally don’t care either way. I am not a British subject and no matter what happens, it won’t affect my life. I am in my 70′s and this is from a lifetime of obervation. I wouldn’t presume to give them advice, I don’t even offer advice to my own grandchildren.

  • dramaking #53 - March 30, 2008 at 3:25 pm

If elders don’t pass on their wisdom how will the next generation learn.A life without guidence is a life set adrift in a storm.

  • Grandma828 #54 - March 30, 2008 at 5:05 pm

Unwanted advice is most often ignored and it can cost a grandmother the good will of the young people. I want my grandchildren to want to be around me. The advice can be given by their parents.

  • dramaking #55 - March 30, 2008 at 5:11 pm

just hand your grandchildren the drugs they will want to be around you even more.how about understanding that it is elders job to guide ,and not be there friends?when they mature they will thank you for it.as for all these elders who want to be friends ,don’t be surprised if they never mature ,because you refused to guide them

  • hope #56 - March 30, 2008 at 5:17 pm

so you see your grandchildren about to jump off a dangerous bridge you say nothing?

  • Grandma828 #57 - March 30, 2008 at 5:25 pm

If their parents fall down on the job, I will re-evaluate. Right now things are going well. The first one will graduate college this year with high honors. The 2nd one will finish his second year of college with only 1 B and the rest A’s. The next 2 are graduating high school as valdictorians and both have scholarships to college. The boy scored 99% on both the ACT and SAT and is getting a National Merit Scholarship. He will study Chemistry in college. Their parents are doing the heavy lifting and I am enjoying being Grandma.

  • hope #58 - March 30, 2008 at 5:30 pm

lucky you ,but who do you think they will thank in their validictorian speech?

  • Me #59 - March 30, 2008 at 5:33 pm

Guidance belongs to the PARENTS, if they (parents) fail, then the grandparents, uncles, aunts put there foot in. But all over the world, except in Cuba/China, its the parents responsability to guide their children.

  • Grandma828 #60 - March 30, 2008 at 5:36 pm

I sure as heck hope they thank their parents. I can see all the work they have done and are still doing. The boy that is getting the National Merit Scholarship was home schooled by his Mom for 5 years. It certainly wasn’t my work.
