In two months they will be man and wife, but already Peter Phillips’s fiancee Autumn Kelly has a taste of what life is going to be like inside the Royal Family.
In the absence of so many of the younger royals, the Canadian-born Autumn brought some much-needed glamour to the line-up of Easter bonnets on parade at St George’s Chapel in chilly Windsor yesterday.
Miss Kelly, 29, who marries the Queen’s grandson at the same chapel in May, has already become a popular figure among her future in-laws.
No doubt in part because she has not courted the attention of the paparazzi who are devoted to recording the love lives of Peter’s cousins William and Harry. However, the couple’s wedding will be anything but low key. Autumn has engaged Chelsea-based designer Sassi Holford to make her dress and the chapel will be filled with more than 350 guests. I guess it’s a little weird to compliment her for not courting the paparazzi. I doubt they’d be interested in her. The papers don’t even care for her and Peter’s wedding except for the question whether Kate and/or Chelsy will trun up. Her and Peter look like a cute couple though and I wish them all the best.

I would wish them the best as I would wish Will-Kate and Harry-Chelsy the best too. It seems unfair to comment about Will&Harry’s love life, nevertheless saying bad/good things about Kate/Chelsy, without commenting about Peter&Autumn’s.
I do think Will&Harry wish they’re in Peter’s position. I would if I were them. What a difference a family-tree position could make.
Oh, by the way, strange but unique hat that Autumn wears. I bet if Kate wears it, the whole world would punish her *lol*. Poor Kate.
I think Autumn would make a great Princess in waiting and so does Chelsy and Kate. I like her hat it looks marvelous on her. She is a great person and hopefully People will be happy she would be Lady Autumn soon.
Autumn won’t be a Princess, they (Peter and her, likewise Zara) have no titles, cause Peter’s mom renounced titles for her children, although maybe HM may fix that ?!

I don’t really like the hat. She is very pretty though and lucky she is not hounded by the media like Kate.
She has a kind of exotic look with those slanted eyes pulled together with the canadian looks.
I don’t like the hat either, prefer the normal more conservative hats (like the ones Zara/Kate used at Cheltenham), but those are not stylish for Church use I guess.

I interpreted as the paps are not as interested in Autumn as they are the possible future Queen of England (KM).
Right ! Same goes to Chelsy. Both sell papers. I’m sure that KM may sit in the backseat dressed in gray, for example during the wedding of P&A, and if the media is allowed in, they (media) will focus attention to KM/CD without even wanting it, just because they are the gf’s of PW/PH. I’d say it won’t be televised or media intrusion. Most likely the media will be posted in the street waiting to see, pics, write who went, how they dressed, etc. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if KM/CD are ushered in secretly to not cause hype with the media.
I don’ think Peter’s wedding will be televised but there will be camera teams present in fron of the Church, I’m sure. I agree, Me, that should Kate and/or Chelsy attend they will probably enter through a backdoor to prevent any frenzy about them. One wouldn’t want to steal the bride’s thunder. I admit though that I’d love to see pictures of William, Kate and Harry and Chelsy on that day. But I doubt they’d do us the favour.
I really don’t think they will go through a side door. When Kate last attended a wedding with William, she used the front door and there was lots of attention on her but also the wedding. What you think they are going to do, hide the girl forever? They can’t and I’m not sure they want to. Kate’s relationship with William is now on a formal footing, I do believe she will enter the front door. You are right Trixie, I don’t think there will be a televised wedding but some special coverage. It is the Queens first grandson to marry so it will gather lots of attention.
I agree Rman, I doubt they will sneak her into the wedding. I am sure she will enter like everyone else. I would love to see pictures though.
I have seen a similiar hat on other royals (Princess Beatrice) a number of times. The hat was just fine. Autumn is just learning her roll in the royal family.

Hope that she gets a royal stag like peter did – hen party just doesn’t seem to cut it. Her auntie Jill has all the connections to have a lovely young stag do the weenie boogie for her & her unmarried friends – maybe Zara could also join her & learn a thing or two about Canadian culture and womens rights in the 21st century. (read mail on sunday apr. 6th or so -great article about her family)Lose the hat – looks like a bird ran into the side of her head. And in this day and age women should really keep thier identity or else risk losing what they had to offer in the first place!
