Trixie, as I have come across many Royal Forums, many posters are from small towns and are prudish, small towns similar to the surroundings of PW’s RAF base (the small town restaurants, the cinema, the small shopping center, the green pasture fields and the like). They are not acustom to big city knowledge or what/how is life in those big cities around the world, with different cultures and customs.
As I’ve said before, just make your opinions, without getting nasty, rude, bad mouthing, etc. (not that you have Trixie, I find your posts mature and balanced) so we may all enjoy this website and each give his/her own POV. We do sometimes discuss, when not agreeing, but in a healthy manner

Fingercrossed Philip will be ok. Unfortunately he isn’t getting any younger. I think losing Philip will be a blow to everyone. The public, like him or loath him, seem to have a lot of respect for the man. He is a legend after all.

I really don’t see what Kate’s hemline has to do with her relationship with William - that’s one of the silliest comments I’ve ever read. What’s up with all these remarks? I don’t think I’ve ever encountered such judgmental and harsh people as I have on this website (not everybody of course - but a few seem like they are very angry for the silliest reasons). Who cares if her hemline is up or down - as long as her dress is up - LOL! Chill out people.

Prince Philip is 86 and has had health problems in the past including his heart. If he dies, I’m sure the Queen will be quite devastated to lose him but I don’t think she will be “completely lost”. She is a strong woman and will continue to conduct herself and do her duties as she always has - with grace, dignity, style and class.

I personally don’t care much if they stay together or breakup at this point. The constant speculation has become so boring. And now stories are emerging that Charles and Camilla are having serious marital problems and she apparently told her friends that the trip with him recently to the Caribbean was a “nightmare”. Gee it looks like Prince Edward is the only one with a stable marriage and family.

Hey I don’t think it would be selfish either to want attention on you for such an important event in his life, but I hope William is strong enough because if he marries kate, the press will probably focus more on her like the did Diana over Charles. That just my opinion.
