Bookies bet on Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy engagement
Rumours that Prince Harry has got engaged to his girlfriend Chelsy Davy have sparked a mini gamble with bookmakers William Hill.
The bookies have slashed the price of Prince Harry getting engaged in 2008 from 50/1 to 25/1 and now offer odds of just 12/1.
“Punters have latched on to the rumour and we have cut the price twice, now offering 12/1. We will be keeping a very close watch on her left hand and hope not to get caught out,” said William Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

It’s not going to be that “easy” for P. Harry and Chelsy. Come on… *sigh* It won’t be as “easy” as Peter and Autumn.
And anyway, I don’t think P. Harry and Chelsy are mature enough. Need more time… Say, 1 or 2 more years. Let’s see what’ll happen after Chelsy graduates.

Student newspaper hacks are furious after university chiefs banned stories about celebrity undergraduate Chelsy Davy.
Bosses at the University of Leeds told Leeds Student the gagging was to protect the privacy of Prince Harry’s South African girlfriend, who is studying law.
The move came after a male student set up a Facebook page about Chelsy, 22, called By the End of the Year I Want to Sniff Chelsy’s Hair.
A source said: “We heard about the prank but they banned us writing about it. Then they banned any mention of Chelsy. A student paper should have free speech.”

The student who set up the page was made to remove it. But the source said Chelsy would not have minded the prank or any stories.
They said: “Chelsy’s really normal and just tries to fit in.
Things like this are just going to single her out.” Chelsy - daughter of a Zimbabwean millionaire - has been dating Harry, 23, for four years.
A university spokesman said: “We will not be commenting.”
