Prince William prepares for full-time royal role
Prince William is to embark on an intensive course of royal engagements in preparation for becoming a full-time working royal.
The second in line to the throne will spend a fortnight travelling the country on behalf of his charities, meeting members of the public.
William, 25, is patron of 14 organisations and is said to be keen to “roll up his sleeves and get stuck in” publicising their work next month.
A Second Lieutenant in the Blues and Royals, he has been on attachment to the RAF for the last four months and is to graduate from the Central Flying School at Cranwell on Friday.
His father, Prince Charles, will present him with his “wings”.
However, it is unlikely that William’s girlfriend, Kate Middleton, will attend.
Last night, father and son, with the Duchess of Cornwall, were due to attend a sunset ceremony and dinner at Cranwell to mark the 90th anniversary of the RAF. (via Daily Mail)

Gee Jenny - Do you ever lighten up or have anything decent to say? You have to be the most negative person on this website. As Will said, stop being so repetitive. This is really ridiculous that now you’re condemning a tie. How old are you anyway? Jess, I dare not speculate, but just for the FUN of it, 2 speculations :teehee:
1) Before P&A wedding, so she may go in official capacity with PW and his FAMILY. I’m sure with the latest news, the Queen knows perfectly well what is happening and would like her at the wedding=- good PR for the BRF = the people will see the BRF are solid and growing, even though it will take the limelight from P&A.

Did you guys notice, that the official page of the POW, it mentions what PW will be doing official engagements followed by “SOME LEAVE”.
But, the pics ohhhh his smile, he should smile like the more often, he looks friendly, and it does give so much of a relaxed, positive, happy, cute, yummy look, feeling LOL.

If Kate ends up taking William to the cleaners if she marries him I think that is his problem personally if it does happen. He must know what getting married means and it’s his decision.
I’ve learnt to accept her even though I’ve never been her biggest fan. I have my doubts about her, and have never really warmed to her, but if William decides she’s the one then so be it. If Kate turns out to be the wife from hell then it’ll be William that has to deal with the consequences.

I hope he is happy with her, Jenny, or godforbid what might happen if they marry. If William marries and he is unhappy. He’ll do his duty and produce an heir and a spare, and then spend the rest of his marriage sleeping around. That will not do. So I only hope if they marry they do it for the right reasons. That they’re happy and they love each other. If not then the future for them remains unpredictableand probably one filled with alot of sadness. I wish them well but I only hope they know what they are doing.

The both looked really happy in the video. I think her being there speaks volumes about their relationship. As for KM taking him to the cleaners, I am quite sure there will be a prenup. I am sure she would be offered millions for her story (She already was and turned it down) I feel she truly loves PW and doubt she is marrying him just because he is a prince. She seems to look at him very lovingly and like a proud girlfriend.

–I used to think that if William married Kate (or any woman that did not have a job) it would end the Monarchy. I figured citizens of the UK would finally have a valid reason to be rid of the Monarchy and the civil list. Someone out going and not media courting (than again the media chases Kate) I think he still wants that but Kate fits the role of “Wife” and not “Mistress” as Chelsy does. Why do you say Kate is common. A genealogists has said that she is descended from King Edward III and is kin to all the ruling heads of Europe. When the engagement is announced the documentation will probably be produced. The Middleton children’s names certainly could be based on that kinship. I wish I was good enough to dig up the data.

Jenny, Miley Cyrus has parents that are in the music business so they are more likely to be aware of all the pitfalls. Britney is ill and that makes a big difference and as you well know, once a child is over 18, it is very difficult for parents to interfere in their life, even if they are in big trouble.

Perhaps Claudius and Rmn no longer want to post here because of certain people who really have stooped to new levels with unnecessary and foul comments. I wasn’t aware that Jenny and dramaking were the same person - if that’s true, then it explains alot about the childish remarks that are really starting to annoy quite a few of us.
This is a great site with a few bad apples who keep posting. We need constructive POV’s, we each have our own feelings and opinions about William, Kate, Harry, Chelsy and the Royal Family but there’s a mature way to express that and then there’s this angry, vicious, almost verbally abusive way of making statements. I think those of you who do this know who you are and it’s time to grow up.

Thanks for asking about me. I have no idea where Claudius is but I was gone for awhile because my computer was down but i’m back. It was great to see William & Kate together at the ceremony and reception. I see she also ate with them as well. I have seen some negitive comments on this site but I’m not suprised. What we saw was Kate looking proud and supportive of William. Diana’s sister Sarah, looked very proud as well. I have a feeling that we will be seeing William & Kate walking down that isle soon. Next month we will see more photos of them and I can’t wait for that. People can say what they want to say but what are seeing is a very happy and supportive couple that want to the world to know that they are doing just fine. How are you Will? Are you feeling much better now? It’s great to have you back.

Rman , thanks for your good wishes over the months. I am stronger and have started back at the office, part time of course!
I think that there are lots of complicasions still out there, complications that we do not hear about but are being spoken about.
For instance, note how suddently, its Harry´s future, and Harry´s wife that is now most immportant. Perhaps his marriage is of more significance that William´s at present. William and Kate obviously have that big something. In all probability ithas always been there for us to see but we havent always appreciated exactly what is going on. The buzz however is, yes they are together, yes they will be together , but engagement and marriage may be years, yes years away.
Reasons ? Your guess is as good as anyone else but I do have this odd feeling that it has lots to do with tha split last year.
Come on Guys but thinking caps on, lets see if this blog can solve this mistery, and believe me I do believe that its a big mistery.
Analyse it and lets have the theories.
