Peter Phillips’ (Royal) Stag Weekend
Prince William dropped his trousers and downed pints of bitter as he and brother Harry gave their royal cousin a boozy stag weekend to remember.
The infamous drinking duo joined Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips for a 72-hour bender.
And at one point they were so boozed up that they lost him.
The high jinks began last Friday morning as the stag party boarded a high-speed ferry from Southampton to Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
As passengers looked on amazed, Peter, 30, was forced to swap his clothes for a skin-tight white leotard.Then he was made to kneel down and sup lager from a hosepipe.
Once on the island the group — some also in fancy dress — headed to a cricket pitch for a boozy game.
Then William and Harry arrived to join the fun. Wills, 25, had dashed down from RAF Cranwell, Lincs, where he received his pilot’s wings.
“Harry and William were as good as gold. They drank until the music ended, then left with the police officers who were looking after them.”
Another drinker said: “The guys were having a good night out — dancing, chatting and stitching Peter up.”
At one point, after hours of heavy drinking, William and Harry, 23, were heard panicking because Peter was nowhere to be seen.
Soldier Harry — wearing the baseball cap he had in Afghanistan, bearing the slogan “I do bad things to bad people” — yelled: “Where the f*** is the stag? We’ve lost the f****** stag.”
Peter is due to wed Autumn Kelly, 29, at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 17.
Asked how he was coping with the weekend, he joked: “I’m still alive.”
Harry said as the bash drew to a close: “It’s been an awesome stag do — it will just take us a while to recover.”

Sounds like the party was a great success.
I wouldn’t want to be either of them right now though, their hang overs must be incredible but I guess that’s the whole point of having a stag party. 
I wonder whther someone took a pic of wills in his boxers. At least they didn’t take Peter to a strip club but its so funny that the lost him. :lmao:

Jenny, drunken men are capable of a lot of things, they’d never do when they are sober.
Especially at a stag party. And he didn’t pull down his pants to get it on with whoever the woman was who was there. If he’d as much as touched her the article would have made a mention, I’m sure. 
It was a drinking game. I don’t know how it’s called in English but the point is to get drunk and undressed (not totally just enough to be horribly embarassed the next day).

Thank goodness he is not in America! American men have bachelor parties (stag parties) where unfortunately they normally consist of strippers or going to a gentlemens club. They seem to be having some harmless fun. I am not too familiar about stag parties in England.

I would be as well maddie. I’ve nothing against them for having fun but if I was their girlfriend I would feel a bit embarressed knowing that my boyfriend’s bottom had been seen by everyone or that my boyfriend had been photographed naked with my brother and other girls. Still, boys will be boys.
Most people drink a lot because they think that it is cool or that they will have more fun that way. A lot start drinking because others do the same.

Isn’t it strange though that the first articles about this from yesterday sounded rather harmless and suddenly there were naked women there and someone was pulling William’s pants off and Mike was in bed with another woman… I don’t know I’m a little suspicious. It sounds like the gossip rags try to out-do each other and just add jiucy details.

I think Harry does have a serious drinking problem and has for a number of years. Maybe he really lightened up on it while in Afghanistan but he sure has thrown himself right back into it since coming home and I think he needs to realize and be made to realize that his drinking is borderline alcoholic. Between the boozing and heavy smoking, Harry is really wrecking his physical health. It’s one think to get drunk once in a rare while but it seems to be a habit he can’t break – I can’t help but think he needs some type of intervention and I don’t see William being much help to him.

William has been photographed several times coming out of nightlcubs totally looking drunk and bleary-eyed.
Kate and her mom were doing there own nightclub partying last night. She fits right in with the partying young Royals. Her Dad stayed away from that Nightclub scene, her father is smart.

Y, I think some tabs want PW flying the Chnook to IoW to be a debacle. I’ve read many of the comments of the posters in those articles (DM, The Sun), those with Military background salute PW and I’ve also read various other Military forums and the cross country stints the Military do is normal. The tabs are enfazising on PW, because its PW, but if a serious journalist investigates – these cross country rides are normal – then we should have a serious debacle on why the Military (check all the authorizations of helicop practices) does cross country for training/hour consumption to points and areas that are close by, near, stationed to some particular event.

Jenny when it comes to judging Kate’s family it’s not the Queen I’d be worried about it’s Prince Philip. He was a factor behind Sarah and Andrew’s divorce because he didn’t like Sarah cos she was too ‘vulgar’. I get the feeling that Kate’s family, Carol imparticular, will irritate him.
I know that some of you on here will see nothing wrong with Kate and family going to a nightclub but Royal insiders may think differently. They’ll look at these photos and say ‘they’re too common’. It may end up causing a problem with William and Kate. If Kate wants to marry William she’s got to be extremely careful what she and her family do. Cos Royal insiders are watching their every move.

I don’t think that it is the nightclub part that makes them “vulgar” or common, actually I would not use those words when describing it. I may sound snobbish but do you know what I mean when I say it is just “not done” i.e. it just is not appropriate. I think that it is not appropriate for the whole family danced to a song which had “shake that ass” or something like that, mainly the mother and father. Let’s face it, I know that I would be very embarressed to see my parents dance to a song which has “shake that ass”.
Nightclubs are predominently a young persons’ place. They are not the place that people go to for a family outing. I have nothing against Kate or her siblings going out and having fun and their parents should be able to have fun as well but there are standards. How many 50 year old parents do you know that would go out with their 20 year old children to a nightclub??? They should be able to do things with their children but for Royal insiders who do not like the Middletons background (slightly snobbish I know but there we go..), it provides more ammunition to suggest that she is not appropriate.
I think that as a possible future bride for PW, that bride and her family must behave in a certain way which shows good family values but also an understanding of what is expected. I did not expect Kate’s parents to go out clubbing neither do I think that it is a good idea. Although, they should be able to have a good time out as a family.
I have tried to be careful when saying this so I hope that I have not offended anyone. I am struggling to explain what I mean though, so I am sorry if this appears like goobly-d-gook.

You explained your POV fair enough. The snobbish courtiers will gossip about this outing indeed, nevertheless the Middleton Family has their own “family values”. They were probably celebrating their way perhaps a wedding anniversary, not in the Ritz, but with a formal dinner at Cocoon later for a dance at Boujis.
Your comments on KM being or has to extremely be carefull is regretfully for “monarchy” spot on, even if we are in the 21st century folks.

On another side but related, the press will always scrutinize those girlfriends and family who are going out with Wills and Haz. Nevertheless, KM and her family will be more on the limelight then CD and her family, because of the Heir and Spare. Like it or not it is like this – although CD and her family did receive a share of critisim with her daddy’s ties with Mugabe, the recent trip to South Africa where the journalist details that her Mom and her where drunk and very roudy at a CLUB while dad and Haz where drinking but not binging….so one just needs to compare the circumstances and notice the point of view and ‘inclination’ to each couple.
I like both couples and their families – they each have their family values – I may safely say that both boys must surely feel confortable when sharing with them what they regretfully lacked in their own lives.

Specially Haz, he was much younger when he lost his Mom and before loosing Mom, he (they) saw what happened – the entire divorce process including the Mistress and her side share of confirmed boyfriends. That’s why I wrote “supposedly”. And I was of course using exaggeration to make my point.I do not believe Philip would comdemn the Middleton’s for chewing gum or going out anyways though he might wish for an aristocratic bride for William. I think these sort of allegations say more about the person who makes them than about Philip or the Middletons.
I myself am rather fond of Philip though he seems like a grumpy old man at times but I do not think he’s as controlling and snobbish as some think. He seems to have a very good sense of humour and acts very warmly towards his grand-children.

Kate’s dad is not the problem he never has been, but I think Kate’s mother has a bit of a reputation even with her neighbors who know her, as a bit of a stage mom, social climber.
