Kate, Chelsy, William and Harry attend Polo Match
Princes William and Harry threw themselves into a polo match yesterday, Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy sat side-by-side sipping their drinks and chatting.
The pair stayed in the shade of a marquee at Coworth Park, near Ascot in Berkshire, while watching the Princes compete.
While Chelsy was casual in her blue jeans and double-breasted plaid jacket, Kate looked a little smarter in a fitted cropped jacket and dark jeans.
The girls were inseparable for much of the time. But although Kate sat back and watched William on the field, Chelsy, a student at Leeds University, seemed preoccupied with a stack of papers she had with her, which she looked to be studying.
William and Harry were competing in the Audi polo match for the Um Bongo team. After the match they collected medals from a tent, although their girlfriends remained in the neighbouring marquee. (via Daily Mail)

It’s quite possible that William, Harry and Kate were visiting the Queen at Windsor Castle prior to going off to play polo and Kate met them there. She doesn’t always need to arrive and leave with William and I agree that it may have been for security reasons - who knows.
But Windsor Castle is in Berkshire if I’m not mistaken so it just may be that the boys were visiting granny and grandpa and Chelsy happened to have been with William. I don’t know - no one really knows so I’m not going to start in on the rumors, speculating, saying negative things about Kate arriving on her own because as far as I’m concerned, it serves no purpose. The point is, they were all together and seemed to have a good time. That’s what matters.

Good to see all those pics. Thanks for the links, Me. Did anyone else notice how the sun article (for the first time?) referred to Chelsy as “longtime-girlfriend”? Guess this relationship is now seen as serious as well. I can’t wait for the engagement speculations.

In response to the comments which have said that Chelsy missed classes today, that is incorrect. In England, it is a Bank Holiday today which means that a lot of people have the day off including those who go to school or university (which is why I’m not at classes today).
The first Monday of May is always a bank holiday in England as it celebrates what used to be Labour Day.

There is one picture of Kate and William. William is looking at someone and putting his thumb up, and Kate in background walks into tented area from Pavilion.
I didn’t suggest she was on her own. I was told late last night from a member that Harry,Cheslsy and William arrived by car and drove directly to pavilion.
Kate arrived some time later on her own and had to park in the public car park and as she was so late had quite a way to walk across field,road,field to reach pavilion.
William and Harry were then in fact with their grooms and preparing their ponies and Kate joined Chelsey in tented area attached to pavillion.
Kate stayed in Pavilion almost all time but went into main building several times. Chelsey did wander around outside.
After the Polo, William had loaded his car when Kate walked out from main Pavillioninto the tented area but as far as was seen was not acknowledged by William.
Kate left shortly after on her own, William,Harry and Chelsy attended prize presentation and left in their car.
I understand a security land rover was in attendance with two male and one female officer.
Sorry if I gave wrong impression, I’ve no confirmation of above only part of conversation with a friend/colleague.

I have a feeling things aren’t well with Will and Kate. Kate looks like she doesn’t want to be seen and quite sad. Plus there are plenty of pics of Harry and Chelsy interacting together but none of William and Kate.
Maybe William has told her off for her clubbing last week. I don’t this that was a smart move for her as William has had enough trouble from the media and would have preferred Kate to stay out of the limelight cos whatever she does reflects on him. I cannot see him being too amused at Kate clubbing and with her ex, which was sure to make headlines and it happened the night before his dinner so it overshadowed it.
Plus the press were still talking about it on Sunday, four days later. I reckon William wouldn’t have liked it much and as a result they’ve fallen out again. That’s my view on the situation.
Chelsy on the other hand looks like a love-struck teenager. Look like things are well in that department.

Really people, I’m tired of reading wild guesses and speculation, when the next thing is - there goes down the ‘theory’ with the next PW/KM event.

I doubt she would have gotten into that royal tent without an invitation or without William wanting her there. Also there are pics of her standing next to Harry or William’s car which lead me to believe they were there together even if Kate arrived in a seperate car. None of the articles mention any of the odd behaviour you describe,Will, not even the fact that Kate arrived later. That surely would have sounded innocent enough to mention. There are hardly ever pics of William and Kate interacting at those polo matches and even Harry and Chelsy were distant for their standards merely smiling at each other and not snogging or hugging.
To me they all look content.
Certainly had Kate had a big smile on her face people would be lamenting about that as well, complaining how she was grinning for the cameras. But if she’s not that means she’s sad and something is wrong with her and Will.

I have learned that you should not believe everything you read in newspapers. I don’t. But I believe even less of what I read on some royal forums. Like this. Some people are just looking for negative things to say about Kate and also William. If they don’t arrive in the same car, there’s a problem in their relationship. Hello! Why on earth would Kate arrive at all if they had such problems? She didn’t have to be there. I saw pictures of a woman who was smiling, laughing, talking to people around her and seemingly having a nice day at the polo. Kate and William have never been very intimate when on public display. That is not their way, why should yesterday be any different?
I don’t buy “observations” from people who supposedly were there. People see what they want to see I’m afraid. I think maybe the people that “saw” that William did not acknowledge Kate “saw” things others didn’t.
I’, just waiting to hear these people explain why William and Kate are going together on a holiday. Or maybe they are not going together? Maybe they will stay at the same place but Wills won’t acknowledge her? Can’t wait to hear. Will, any “inside” information on this one?

Will, I too have seen the pictures and everyone looks happy and enjoying the game. The picture of Kate & Chelsy under the tent, Kate is seen eating something and Chelsy is trying to study and watch at the same time. Kate and Chelsy both walked from the parking lot, you will see that when you look at the pictures. I should have known that the speculation from Kate going out the other night wouldn’t drop even though we see that things is well. That is old news and people are now talking about the next big event which is the wedding. So lets focus on that. Me, that story has to be false. William will not miss his cousin’s wedding and Kate & Chelsy will be there. So don’t listen to that story.

I am glad to see that the two of them get along with each other although I would not call them the best of friends. I do agree with Will though, it is strange that there are no images of Kate and William together (and facing each other). Surely a couple so in love as everybody says would have stood together for a while. It does make me wonder if Kate’s little trip with Willem has made William rather annoyed. It did over shadow his charity work which was vital to repair his image after the RAF incidents.

Claudius, you are right that is old news but you forget speculation entertains others. It’s more exciting to talk about. I can’t wait for the wedding and it’s nice to see Chelsy attend the ceremony and sit next to William & Charles. That alone speaks for where their relationship is now. Now that we are now seeing Kate & chelsy included in these events, we can now say that things are more on a formal footing for them and we will se more of them at royal events. Kate appeared to be getting in the car with William at the Polo event and Kate & Chelsy stayed in the tent while William and Harry collected their medals so Will, I don’t know where you are getting your story from. I’ve looked at the W&H unlimited and there are no photos of William and Kate together. There is one. But she is standing in the tent and his attention is elsewhere. Kate is not seen getting into a car with William either. It seems to me that she came in a separate car and left in a separate car. I’m sorry but I agree with Will, B, Benign and Merrick. Something isn’t right between William and Kate right now. I think the ex may have hit a sore point with William.

I’m glad to read some upbeat, positive posts like the ones given here by DAGY, ME and RMAN. All the negative rumors, gossip and speculation really serves no purpose. Why would William be angry at Kate if she was at the polo match, sitting with Chelsy, spending time in the tent and with William. As far as I can see, no one here, including myself, knows anything intimate about Wills, Kate, Harry or Chelsy. We don’t know these people and I’m not going to let the media dictate to me how I should think or feel. The media loves to stir up trouble, even where there’s no trouble, because it sells more papers and magazines to be negative. I refuse to fall into that trap.
I don’t personally feel there’s any trouble between William and Kate. William is not one who goes out of his way to show public displays of affection - he’s like Prince Charles in that sense. Harry is the opposite and I just think Wills is a very private person who for all we know, is very romantic and affectionate with Kate out of the glare of the public and the media. So I wish people would lighten up, let their relationship play out and see what happens before jumping to wild conclusions.

Kate is very clearly wearing THE RING and as for her looking unhappy at the Polo match, the photos clearly show her very relaxed and smiling.
More negative speculation even with the proof showing the opposite right there for everyone to see. There was no big chill given to her by William at the event and there’s nothing to forgive her for. This anti-Kate constant posting is really tiresome and pretty much untrue.

The photograph which I have seen (i.e. the one above), shows Kate twirling her hair whilst William’s attention is elsewhere. I have not seen an interaction between the two of them. A very good example on how things work here and on certain other royal forums: Kate attends Will’s wing seremony. Afterwards we see a picture of them saying goodbye, kissing or hugging or whatever. Some people just can’t live with the fact that these two people may love each other so they start to question the picture. Is it them, is it a fake? He’s wearing the wrong cloyhes etc. People just can’t accept facts. Now weeks later there are more pictures from them saying good bye. We see Kate , we see William, there’s no doubt whatsoever that those two people gave each other a warm good bye that day, So maybe in a few days time, there will be pictures from yesterday of Will and Kate talking to each other, acknowledging each other . Because they did. They have done for almost six years now. Simple as that.

I’ve seen two photos of Kate in William’s vicinity so far and he doesn’t seem to pay attention to her really.
This is reminding me of their Cheltenham appearance, some thought they looked ill at ease. We found out shortly after they were.

Ok, I just give in. I just don’t see the same things as the rest of you. I just don’t see people who are ill at ease. I don’t see people ignoring each other. But you do and I am sure you want all the best for prince William. Why would you be on a royal forum if you were not positive royal followers. And you obviously see that prince William will be a happier person if Kate M is gone from his life and you wish that so much that you see it happening. Why is it so important to you to prove that these two young people have such a difficult personal life? Why is it not possible to want them to be happy?

To me its unfounded analysis, why look more into what is there, she went there, she’s not crazy to go uninvited.
All these repeated speculation of PW/KM makes me laugh and at the same time I admit I enjoy it. Cause the next day or so…unbelievable opposite news (to what the posters where thinking a sign of a rift, fight, break up) happens. These kind of analysis, they immediately forget the bashing of PW going in a choper to KM garden, KM attending the Wing Ceremony, like if every single analysis goes down to if she’s happy (photo op) if she’s looks normal, not grinning or smiling like a cat (she’s in trouble), you tell me. Next thing you know, when there proved wrong or right, they bash her even though. I can post/quote many of those I’m refering to. But really, who gives, sit back and keep on watching.

It’s interesting to read all the differing view points. Don’t agree with the Kate bashing but neither do I agree with the blind hero worshipping of Kate Middleton. People are allowed to express their opinions on a public figure without being attacked personally. Some people like her and some don’t - that’s life. So enough with the self righteous indignation!
On Topic: If there is a problem then kate and william will sort it out like they always do.

Hi Guys,
I don’t want to say too much but I think the coldness stems from the Stag Party in IOW.
Check reported movements o people, especially on second night.
I think people should make up their minds because ther was something quite important and significant.
I also think that there may have been a slight fall out between P and W as P didn’t exactly approve of arrangements and did try to opt out.
This may well have led to the story of William missing the wedding.
I don’t know the truth of this and can’t confirm but a certain reporter most certainly does and the story may come out at the appropriate time.

I’m not sure which photgraphs you have seen, but I do know that Kate arrived in her own car after W,H and Chelsy and that she had to park a fair distance from the Polo Ground in the public car park.
As she walked from the Car Park a steward was sent to meet her and accompanied her to the Pavilion.
Kate left alone in her own car prior to the Presentation and drove out of the car park.
Members of the Club were acting as stewards and car park attendants.

CD and KM look fabulous in these pics. I think this is the best I have ever seen chelsy look. I do wish PW wasn’t as reserved as he is and we could see him show KM more affection in public like harry and chelsy, but I am quite sure he does so in private. They just have different personalities. Nothing wrong with that. I am glad to see them all together just sad to hear people are still accusing KM of inviting herself and PW didn’t want her there. yada yada yada. Maybe someone can explain something to me because I do not understand. Why do posters on this site and others, who do not care for Kate Middleton, insist on creating fictional scenarios regarding the state of her relationship with PW?Do people actually think that by typing this stuff that somehow it adds creedance to their opinions or will somehow make them come true? I can understand not liking the public persona someone but people go waay to far and speak as if they actually KNOW the person in question. It is nonsense. No one hera or on any other internet site has any clue as to the state of the relationship of PW and KM. Stick to the fact as we know them. The couple have been dating for a long time. Whether they marry or break up remains to be seen but all this negative speculation has gone too far. IMO.
It looks like both couples enjoyed a nice day. Congrats to PH for a metal well deserved!

Will pointed out facts about Kate’s arrival and departure, it wasn’t fictional, but fact….Kate arrived alone, William,Chelsy and Harry arrived together. Kate left on her own, the others stayed.
There are no photos so far of William interacting at all with Kate, not even looking at her.
Many saw something wrong when they went to Cheltenham and they were on target,because William split with her shortly after.

Merrick, my frustration is not about the way people view facts differently but the way people choose to put their own spin on every move or every picture of this couple that is out there seemingly to drive their own agenda. The fact is the sum of time in which it took to snap these pictures was very brief, seconds each. The story the pictures tell is that the princes played polo and their gf\’s watched. Anything else is speculation and fiction.

Sorry Will, I’m just saying that William & Kate was together but there may not be any photos of that. Lisa you are right, but people on here knows that William & Kate is doing just fine. They hit a bumpy road last year and they have moved on from that. Now they are not only doing great but we are seeing that things are becoming more formal. Even though she will be at the wedding in two weeks but we think she will be at the Garter ceremony next month to see William become a knight. Harry is also getting on with his relationship to Chelsy very well. So everyone on here knows that things is good but there are some that will always think that there some trouble in the way. But they are just reading too much into it all. Even though the speculation is false, it’s fun to read and talk about.

And this is how dangerous rumors start. Some forums are made up of posters who seem to exist to find things wrong with KM. The tabloid press feeds on it and things get out of hand. People should consider being more responsible about what they type about people they have never met or do not know personally. IMO.

Lisa again you are correct. I have to admit, Kate will never win but we all know that they don’t pay any attention to the speculation. They just go and live their lives. We we saw was two women, enjoying themseleves, drinking champagne and watching their boyfriends play polo. That’s all. There weren’t too many photos of William & Kate interacting and that caused some to think in a negitive way. But when the wedding in two weeks come around and we do see them together, then a different tune will be sung. William & Harry have two different personalities when it comes to their private lives. Harry is more affectionate in public then William but I when you read of stories where Wiliam & Kate are at a private event, they can’t keep their hands off each other and they dance alot together. People want to see them all over each other in public and both of them seem to be like that in private.

Yes Rman, and I am sorry this discussion of ficticious “facts” come about again…but it is frustrating because I know now that I’m not the only one who has seen as a real fact that the tabs do get ideas (dangerous rumors circulating in forums) from posters, never said it in the past but it just made me frown, when I see updates in articles and using exact words from posters say 24-48 hours before hand. Gosh so the posters who were not there, suddenly the journalist says a source has told me…from the original article ! It has happened !

Firstly, lovely to see the girls together. I also think it’s brilliant that Chelsy attended Harry’s medal pinning as her first official event.
I have to say, though, that I find it really funny reading the user comments. Don’t understand why people are reading too much into stolen pictures that I’m sure don’t tell the whole story. For me, it’s simple. The princes had a polo match. Their girlfriends were there. Kate was there so she must therefore be still with William. Why find reasons to believe they’re on the rocks just because we can’t find pictures of them “interacting?” It’s true what others have said… all this speculation just leads to needless (and most likely false) gossip.
…just the opinion of someone who’s been reading the BRW news but somehow neglected the comment section until now.

No, actually, I was serious. I think the pictures could be very abstract. When I was in University, I took a Photograghy class. My best pics were in B/W. Took people at play, then cropped them in different ways. I could only do so many building shots. Sorry if I came across sarcastic. Anyway, what was that guy doing ?
