I've always found him amusing. On the other hand I'm hope your right Claudius and W&K will go to the wedding and this is just a decoy. However I don't know why they don't just turn up without all the fuss but instead we've got all these rumours flying around. These rumours have got to have come from somewhere. I'm hoping there is some truth to it but the pair will go to the wedding and go on holiday after. It seems like a better idea to me because then everyone is happy. I think no matter what William does (and the same goes for Harry) he cannot really change the fact that Peter and Autumn will never be quite as interesting as him. The best would be if William and Harry went to the Church service without their girlfriends and only took them to the private receptions later.
