I send all my best to the happy couple, I think they make a very good couple, and on top of it all she’s Canadian like me! You go girl friend! It’s nice to see a Canadian marrying into Royalty.

It’s a shame William doesn’t start the Navy till next month because that would be the best excuse for missing the wedding and would get him off the hook where the public are concerned.

Trixie to be honest I think this latest news proves that the press are just as clueless as everyone else when it comes to this wedding. I don’t think they have a clue about who’s going to the wedding and who isn’t. It’s offically become a soap opera. I also agree with Steven I reckon whoever this source is is having a little fun and games with the media.
For all we know everyone could be at the wedding tomorrow and then it’ll be fuss over nothing. Hopefully official photos of the wedding will be release so if William is there he’ll be in the photos. If not then the mystery will continue.

Yes, that’s a downside to not officially releasing information about the wedding, but I guess it’s up to Autumn and Peter. For all we know they could be reading the press speculation having a good old laugh!

True, BRW and the papers fell for it. Who knows which of the stories turns out to be true it’s certain that at least 90% of what was written aboout this wedding in advance was baseless speculation.

I see they found another twist to the whole story and managed to throw Jecca in there (she seems to be an important ingredient to almost all Will and Kate stories ). Seriously if it was known all along that William would attend another wedding in Africa this weekend, why did the “Royal sources” not tell so earlier? Why did they first say Will would be best man and attend together with Kate, then said Will would be an usher at the wedding, then changed their tune at said him and Kate will be in Mystique instead, only to reveal one day before the big event that Kate will go on her own and Will will be in Africa with his ex-g/f and her family?
I’ll believe it when I see it. Yet those press reports managed to make this wedding much more interesting than it would have been otherwise. I’m sure a lot of people who wouldn’t have bothered about Peter and Autumn marrying, will now be eager to know about it. Well, done, DM and Sun!

My God this is all making sense now. I just hope that William will be there but if not, then Kate will be a great representive of William at the wedding.

In now just reading the article in the DM, I guess I understand the situation more clearly. If William and Peter discussed the situation and the fact that William had made the commitment to Jecca’s brother prior to Peter’s wedding date decision then it must be okay with Peter, Autumn and especially the Queen. But it’s still kind of hard to understand why William, who is supposedly so close to Peter and is his cousin, would just extend his apologies to Jecca’s brother and go to the family wedding. If it is all true – you never know until the event actually takes place but if Kate is definitely going to Peter’s wedding on her own, then you know she has to be very close at this point to the Royal Family and possibly close to an engagement announcement. But again, let’s take a wait and see attitude.
