Princess Beatrice proves she still has a thing or two learn about eye fashion – by going out for a night on the town in ridiculous looking false lashes.
At least Fergie’s 19-year-old daughter wasn’t wearing the wildly over-the-top butterfly hat that caused something of a sensation at Peter Phillips’ wedding.
Still, we have to credit the young royal with one thing – she looks pretty fresh-faced for 3.30am after a session at London hotspot, Boujis.
And everything else about her sleek, sexy outfit – the drop-waisted dress with ankle-strapped heels – was spot on for some nightclub fun with her boyfriend Dave Clark.
It’s just those spidery lashes that we can’t take our eyes off. Perhaps someone had better pass Bea the wink that they will raise nothing but eyebrows for all the wrong reasons. (via Daily Mirror)

If you enter the Alexander MacQueen’s web site (one of the most famous English fasion designers) and check out his spring/summer 2008 collection, you can see butterfly hats and fake eye lashes.
Nevertheless, I don’t like it, maybe on a catwalk in a fashion show, but to display in public, not my sytle.
I’m sure Bea ‘wear’ is liked buy those who found it cool to wear this alexander macqueen trend. But I think a majority wouldn’t dare to.
I’ve seen the close up picture. I think her eyes look georgeus. Nothing wrong with the fake eyelashes. Her dress is fine, too. Overall, much better than her fashion taste at Peter’s wedding.
My older sister grew up in the sixties and was showing me photos where she wore very similar eyelashes to a party. She said Twiggy had the look and a lot of girls wore those long thick dramatic eyelashes. I don’t mind girls having fun with fashion, including makeup. My young neice 19 showed me some photos last week, where she went to a concert and she had those same eyelashes on, with makeup around the eyes applied expertly, I think it is just fun fashion for these ladies.
Beatrice is young and having fun with fashion, one day she will look back and laugh, but let her have her fun and even make her fashion mistakes ,she is finding her style perhaps. I like her.

right merrick, big eyelashes were popular in the 60′s and dark liquid eyeliner. I think she looked fine. She was at a club and it is dark inside . I like the fur eyelashes I have seen some celebrities wear. They need to leave her alone.
