William, Kate, Harry & Chelsy at Boodles Boxing Ball
Prince William, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy were among guests at last night’s Boodles Boxing Ball in London.
Among the other guests were friends of the princes - Hugh Van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Holly Branson, and Prince William’s old flame, Jessica (Jecca) Craig. Jessica’s boyfriend, Hugh Crossley, was one of the participants.
The biennial event, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, was organised by Hugh Van Cutsem to raise money for the Starlight Foundation.

look at people around her she is over reacting to get noticed ,and the people around her seem to feel she is over doing it
June 8th, 2008 08:34
I’m so happy that we are seeing them together and people can stop talking bad about them.
June 8th, 2008 08:35
Fabulous Couple! Double date in boxing???? doesn’t romantic at all!
June 8th, 2008 09:17
Rman, it will take a act of God for people to stop talking bad about them. They seem to have had a great time. It’s sad that given the wonderful cause they were there to support, the trashy Daily Mail could only muster up a stupid article about how Kate looked “squeamish”. I look at it this way..they are together, happy and having fun! People can say all they want. Some people seem to thrive on being negative and insulting. I feel sorry for them.
June 8th, 2008 09:20
Yeah I know people want stop talking bad about them but should stop thinking that they aren’t happy. But anyway, they looked great and really seemed to enjoy themselves.
June 8th, 2008 11:51
Jenny, when she’s standing between those other two girls they all look equally excited, scared etc. I don’t see how Kate stands out. There’s also a pic of Chelsy having her hands in front of her face and others in which she’s laughing broadly. I don’t see what you see at all.
But it was to be expected that anything that looks like pictures of a happy couple having a night out for charity would be torn apart.
June 8th, 2008 11:59
Personally, i don’t think she was acting any different from any other person at a boxing match. I’ve been to a few and that is the general reaction I’ve had. It’s not a pretty thing to witness, especially if it’s a friend that’s involved.
June 8th, 2008 12:13
Trixie, for some people seeing William & Catherine happy often scare people. The point is everyone looked happy and that is that. Catherine and Chelsy lokked very beautiful last night.I think Now we will see them attend more gala events with each other.
June 8th, 2008 12:17
here is one if william ,and for that matter harry,(even though i have more respect, and actually think chelsy is likable)why are they always drunk?happy men do not need to drink that much
June 8th, 2008 12:18
hate to see the condition of they’re livers
June 8th, 2008 12:46
the pink dress she is wearing looks exactly like a blue one she wore before
June 8th, 2008 14:12
must have got good reviews
June 8th, 2008 20:44
why does jecca craig their?. the pink dress that she’s wearing is beautiful. chelsy looks glamorous in her blue dress,
June 8th, 2008 22:10
The dress is cute i was just saying it looked like a blue one i saw before
June 9th, 2008 12:09
Looks like they all had a good time. Nice outfits. Both Kate and Chelsy looked good. Blue suit, Chelsy and Kate looks good in pink I think she should wear more colour more often as it gives her character.
June 10th, 2008 00:08
Kate over-exaggerates her facial expressions. That is nothing new.
June 10th, 2008 02:31
When Kate’s expression always look like that, isn’t it much more logical to assume that those are her natural expressions than to alledge that she’s faking it EVERY time? Seriously there are pics of Chelsy with that big laugh of hers while everyone else around her looks sombre, yet, noone says a word about HER faking it for the cameras and that laughs looks no more “natural” than any of Kate’s expressions. The other girls at the ring looked just as animated as Kate. Gosh even William was on his seat screaming and yelling and had his hand in front of his face. I guess he was putting n a show for the cameras as well - phoney that he is.
It’s really annoying how some have to find fault with EVERYTHING Kate Middleton does.
June 10th, 2008 05:17
anonymous,
I think you’ll find Kate’s “over-exaggerated” facial expressions are more a product of a picture editor’s decision rather than how she normally “looks”.
If you had a photographer taking, literally, hundreds of photos of yourself, I’m sure they’d capture a few exaggerated expressions!

Hello,
I think Zara has had the final say yesterday at British Olympic traing camp.
She categorically denied that she and Mike were engaged and that she had a lot to do before shw started to think about that.
June 10th, 2008 05:43
Thanks for that update ked! I’m just waiting for the Princess Beatrice / Dave Clark rumours to start!
June 10th, 2008 09:32
Yeah I see that she said that and you can’t trust everything The Daily Mail is saying. I’m glad she cleared that up.
June 11th, 2008 23:00
Did anyone read any interesting rumours about William and Kate today? Just curious?
June 12th, 2008 07:36
yes ,it was a rehash of 2007 breakup article, and i got my hopes up
June 12th, 2008 08:28
You got your hopes up! Wow I find it so very sad that one human being would wish the pain and heartache of a break-up upon another, especially on a complete stranger.
June 12th, 2008 09:03
BRW
Sorry to complain but I get tired of reading repeats, they’re worse than American ‘B’ movies
repeated ad nausium on 5th rate TV
June 12th, 2008 11:34
Wow, false alarm, like all those year after year false engagement reports.
June 12th, 2008 13:09
5 years still no engagement,he gets drunk publically still, and she still mugs for cameras.I am not worrried they will ever get engaged.
June 12th, 2008 14:00
Let wait and see. I still think this relationship can go either way. It’s all down to them at the end of the day and whether or not they can go the distance.
June 12th, 2008 16:43
Maybe one night in a drunken haze he’ll propose.
June 12th, 2008 17:11
thats a fairytale to tell your kids”burp will you marry me?,oh I am sorry thought you were that girl I date burp”
June 12th, 2008 18:53
Both comments are very predictable, just like the constant engagement speculation from the media everytime PW/KM go to an event, holiday, etc. Perhaps (press) should learn from the Apprentice winner
and leave the couple alone until Buckingham Palace makes an announcement of whomever will marry next.
June 12th, 2008 20:08
Jenny, I think that’s the only way she’ll get a proposal from William.
June 12th, 2008 21:10
true enough Merrick ,true enough
June 13th, 2008 01:00
Pain and suffering? Please. They brought this on themselves if they did break up. And if you ask me, they suit each other. Both are lazy, selfish, and spoilt. William wants a doormat and Kate allows herself to be treated as one.
June 13th, 2008 07:05
so true, anonymous, sad that william does not seem to want more from a women
June 13th, 2008 07:51
anonymous you have no right to make such mean spirited comments about people whom you have NEVER met and never will meet. It is a shame that a few mean spirited posters who have nothing positive to say and everything negative to say are ruining this website for others. BRW, if you are reading these comments please do something about it, these posters are stopping people from coming to your site. To those posters who insist on carrying on this negative smear campaign, there is a site called the internet forum, I am sure you know of it. They would love to have more Kate/William bashers. Why not head over there since misery loves company.
June 13th, 2008 10:12
Hello,
I agree with lisa’s comments above and feel so sorry that the site has now been reduced to name calling and bitterness.
lisa is also corect when she says that posters are thinking twice before being associated with the negative and frankly anti KM comments.
The number of comments are reducing and as a high percentage are negative there is very little to stimulate response ad I fear that will only lead to a site known as KM bashers which in the fulness of time goes against the name of BRW.
I do believe in free speech and acknowledge the right of all to comment, but without knowing exactly why the site was set up originally, apart from accepting it name as its basis, I now observe that its origins are lost to its unfortunate detriment and to the detriment of many of its posters.
Please someone step in,lay down a standard which will return it to the vital news and comment gatherer that I observed long before I started to post.
This a plea really from the heart as I used to enjoy some of the comment just a few short months ago when it was by far the most vital site commenting on royal matters.
June 13th, 2008 10:28
** BRW - post deleted due to inflammatory comment **
June 13th, 2008 10:39
on other sites km other names;princess layabout, princess dolittle, cocktail kate, princess no charity, waity katie, she just oozez respect among the masses.this is why princess did not wait long to marry a girl ,or her reputation would suffer ,kate’s in my opinion may never recover
June 13th, 2008 10:40
other posters on other sites are actually complaining that their pots do not get through on this site because they do not choose to be a katie fan
** BRW - Well there have only been two people banned from this website. Both were banned in line with our Blog Comment Policy - http://www.britishroyalwedding.com/blog-comment-policy/ **
June 13th, 2008 10:42
Hello,
I really could just say “I rest my case” but in the interest of fairness may I remind BRW that two of my posts, a lot less vitriolic than the above were monitered.
May we therefore have fairness!
By the way capitals idicate shouting on here !
Is that acceptable ?
June 13th, 2008 10:47
sorry about the capitals my keyboard is greasy, and caps lock tends to get stuck
June 13th, 2008 10:49
how bout you ignore my posts i will ignore yours
that seems more fair than asking for people to not be allowed on the site, you guys have made more people leave than we have
June 13th, 2008 12:00
I agree with Lisa and Ked, the Kate bashing that has been going on lately is disgusting. Try saying a bad word about Chelsy in some forums and you just get ignored, it’s biased and twisted.
June 13th, 2008 12:24
Here’s an idea because I have got fed up with only reading arguements between people who do like Kate and those who do not. Instead of moaning at each other, how about people just accept it, move on and stop creating these arguements. If Person A makes a comment that Person B does not like. Person B can either politely ask for reasons behind that comment on they can let it go. However, if one person refuses to try to understand what the other person is saying or does not accept that they just have a differnet point of view, that is when the problems will start. Everybody has differnet views and interests, some people like football for example whislt others don’t, but it is ridiculous for arguments to start because of it.
I used to really enjoy talking to people on this site. Friendly banter is great and makes it interesting, but some arguements just make me want to stop commenting here.
I don’t mean to sound rude so apologies if anybody takes this offensively I am just a but fed up.
Thank you
June 13th, 2008 13:01
As one of the senior posters in this site, all of the above has been tried. If the repetive posters with no insigthfull argument wish to stay repetive, let them be, just please watch your language, specially since this site is visited by all age groups. Those who wish to carry on a debate/discussion, carry on, which is to my perspective, much more interesting.
Have all a nice weekend, were going to have a busy weekend - week with plenty royal activities; trooping of the colour, garter knight, ascot.
June 13th, 2008 16:55
good idea b
June 13th, 2008 18:37
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, what matters at the end of the day is not whether we like William and Kate or Chelsey and Harry, but whether they like each other.
I’ve been with my Fightin’ Irishman Al for 37 long and mostly happy years, and speaking as an older woman, all I can say is let’s wish upon the young lovebirds all the peace and happiness and luck in the world because by gosh, they will need it.
June 13th, 2008 21:11
alsgal has the final word on this (and well spoken I might say…)
Please read B’s and Me’s comments above for a sensible take on things.
