Kate Middleton at Lady Rose Windsor’s Wedding
A confident Kate Middleton shows she is edging ever nearer to the heart of the Royals yesterday at the wedding of Lady Rose Windsor.
Lady Rose, 28 – youngest daughter of the Duke of Gloucester and great grand-daughter of George V – is 23rd in line to the throne.
And the arrival of Kate, 26, at her wedding prompted Palace watchers to speculate that an engagement to Prince William may be getting closer.
Lady Rose, who works in the film industry as an art assistant, married long-term boyfriend George Gilman at The Queen’s Chapel, St James’s Palace. (via The People)

True. It’s been rather quiet around Zara lately. One or two months ago I would have expected we’d hear of her engagement soon but now she seems to have gone missing somewhere. nikki after KM appearance at this wedding, its when everyone should realise that we just gossip on what the press feeds us – true or not. She was there, she got an invite and is friends with the bride and/or groom. Nothing else there to it.
Actually one should notice that we don’t know anything about what PW KM PH or CD do in their private lives, although we do get lots of private pics of CD. So what they do with their 24/7 the 365 days of the year is clueless. I suppose the royal specialists journalist are scratching their heads, because no one expected her to be there. I don’t think their sources are from the top, but from the bottom – a to z, z.

I am kind of getting bored with the same story. “Kate middleton attending royal weddings means that an engagement is getting closer”. So far I know she has attended so many weddings and we haven’t heard of an engagement. Will we hear of an engagement in the future? We don’t know. I agree with Me, we don’t know what’s happening to KM and PW and just because KM attended this royal wedding doesn’t mean that she’s already getting engaged. Probably she’s just good friend with the bride or groom, or who knows.

Well we all know it’s going to happen but people are so overly excited about the future announcement that their patients is running very low. The wo weeks for William to get back and the waiting to see more pictures of them is too hard to wait for. As we can see that things are running smoothly and happening in steps. I cannot see why engagement rumours can begin just because she attend the wedding of a friend, even if that friend knows PW. It is natural that after nearly 5 years of dating, some of PW’s friends would become KM’s friends.

I think Kate is getting less credit than she deserves regarding all this job talk. People don’t realize the constricting repercussions that come with being a royal girlfriend, which I think she’s handled very well thus far. I can’t believe some people continue to think she courts the press and pushes her way into the royal way of life. What I see is someone who’s had to give up a lot of privacy and liberty we nonentities are so lucky to have.

Absolutely ridiculous!
I don’t know if Kate isn’t working in London or at another place b/c of people like this woman, but if she is, she’s absolutely right.
Belle starts puting herself as a great 40 woman who is an example for others at the same age b/c she doesn’t care about seems as old as she is after given birth to five. (She should take a look at Kate’s mother and would see a woman 10 years older who looks much better looking as old as she is.)
So the article says they are low profile and Kate presence made their work place a hell b/c it gave them notoriety. (If she doens’t enjoy the attention why she give interviews when some almost forgot Kate has passed for Jigsaw?)
To cover that it is an article to criticise Kate, Belle elougy her saying she is very mature for a 26 girl after, or before, to have said she applied for that job to be available for Wills.
At the end she say amazing – and totally unnecessary for us – things about her and Jonh’s life. (How low profile they are!).
To conclude: she said the same that Kate bashers & CO usually say, without be make it very clear, and:
1- This article probably goes to their collection with the Melanie’s interview for DM and Katie Nicholls articles.
2- It must be for “be very mature to 26″ that Kate pull out from this job, and decided to work for her parents. At least they “don’t talk to the press” as her father always says.
3- Belle should think if Kate said she was leaving Jigsaw to dedicate herself to photography just to be nice, when the truth is that Kate realised what kind of boss she had.

I read the article and I didn’t see it as a negative on Kate at all. In fact, I think Belle goes out of her way to say positive things about her. She even said that Kate does not court the press and if it were her she would not be as nice to the photogs. Kate is only a little bit of the piece anyway. Thanks Carla, but I was merely defending my friend Alsgal.
I eat a whopping 350 calories per day, no more, so I am quite thin as well, skinny even, and very proud of it
so I’m not sure I’d have much of an interest in designing a line of clothing for these women. My career is in the health field, which is why I only eat healthy foods (a Tim Horton’s once in a while though is irresistable.) Moderation is key, and I only see my food once!
I agree there should be more fashion choices available for larger women hence why Belle has designed this line. It is rude to discriminate against them, as people often do and I suppose they should do all they can to make themselves feel pretty.
Back to the RF, since it is summer and many people go on vacation then — perhaps that’s where they’ve gone?

Healthy is not eating 350 calories a day. Anyone in the health field would know this including myself. I run my own business from home now, but I am a registered nurse (with a bachelor of science degree) by profession. I am 5′6″ tall and weigh 130 pounds and I eat around 1200 calories a day.

Maddie, I eat 1200 calories for breakfast (two fried eggs, three slices bacon, two slices toast, fried tomatoes, and some sausage when Big Al’s brought some home from the shop) so I’m sure as heck not one to judge anybody, particularly not my friend. Sadly, I have to agree, with ya that at least for me, going below 2000 calories a day whilst dieting isn’t just unhealthy, it’s plain stupid.
Unfortunately, the only diet I’ve ever managed to stay on is the seafood diet. I see food, and then I eat it!

Miry, noble to be balanced in your posts to those who are a different size but I totally agree with maddie and Trixie. I’m a sports leader – team manager now a days and ex coach/trainer in open water sports, including extreme games (surfing), 1,200-1,500 is the average daily intake for stationary or minimum exercise/sport persons. I take the double daily due to what I practice and still teach sometimes newby coaches/tips (3000 calories). 350 is really bad, not even for 9 to 5ers stationary office workers.

I make no secret about being in the 267-269 range (pounds, not kilos) so I’m betting you’re a smart gal and can figure out where I stand on this whole matter:). I am for, for, and again for big girls feeling good and looking sassy and classy! That’s my POV to a T.
Do I think Belle should have gossiped about Kate? Hard to answer, that’s a toughie. (Tough question is what I mean to say.) It’s pretty likely she was tricked or manipulated into answering by the reporter OR maybe Kate just said, yeah, you can talk, I give my approval because I’ve got nothing to hide. I did my job, I’ve got nothing to hide. Or something to that extent.
Let’s face it, here at BRW the most important thing is not the weight issue but the W-A-I-T issue, as in how long do we have to wait ’til we get to see Kate walking beautifully up that aisle at the location of their choosing.

When one hears British wedding, one can’t help but think of a charming ancient chapel on the grounds of the old stately, of beautiful pastel dresses with matching hats, a beautifully mannered vicar, and one can be rest assured that everyone, except for the odd drunken uncle, will be on his or her veddy best behavior. Maple, a Canadian size 10 is to be commended! I managed to reduce to a relatively willowy size 18 for my wedding and let’s just say that was a mighty loooong time ago, but thank goodness I have the pictures for proof!
The Battle of the Bulge really is a battle, isn’t it — and not just one for the history books.
Does anyone by any chance have an idea of what size Kate would wear? I was speculating since everyone has a different reaction to stress, and judging by last years brief split up, I’ll bet Kate is one of those lucky girls who copes by not eating. I certainly wish I was the same but unfortunately when someone says “tax evasion” or “teen pregnancy,” I say, “ice cream!”

I think the interview was ok. I wish Mrs Robinson had chose her words more carefully although I don’t think she meant any disrespect to either William or Kate. I think she got a birds eye view of what it can be like to be dating a future king and it was eye opening for sure.
Hopefully once William returns from the Navy,we will get some clues as to the timeable for he and Kate. It would be nice to end all this speculation once and for all!

I actually believe that Kate and P William are engaged
They’re just keeping the truth from the public to prevent “mass hysteria” as PW has still duties to attend to. I mean, the Royals, although some chunks of their lives are made public, are actually very exclusive people. The fact that Kate has attended a lot of royal engagements is evidence enough of her place in the Royal Family. She always seemed like “one of the Royals” whenever she’s around them. Well, at least that’s what I saw in the pictures.
It’s pretty clear that she’s a brilliant lady. She LOVES PW. And from the onset of their relationship, it’s pretty clear from the very beginning that she knew what the Royals always wanted…A PERSON WHO DOES NOT TATTLE TALE. And she absolutely delivered that with flying colors.

I also feel that William and Kate are engaged and have been so for quite some time,probably since last year after the breakup.Her presence and acceptance at Royal events and something about the smile on her face speaks volumes. They just cannot announce things until later this year or early next,IMO.Hopefully she will have had plenty of time too be versed on protocall and the ways of the royals,this will make her much more prepared for the life she will have as a royal. They want the comfort of the commitment but cannot for many reasons marry until a later date. Many times it is career oriented. In this case, it is more then likely due to the schedule William MUST abide by. He has no choice. He cannot say..” I am going to put the Navy off for 6 months so I can get married”. Also, a wedding of the magnitude of William and Kate’s takes tremendous planning on many fronts. The timing and date would be dictated by many factors and I believe that William and Kate would have little to do with alot of it. I think all of this will become clear when the announcement is finally made.
