Happy 20th Birthday Princess Beatrice
Princess Beatrice celebrates her 20th birthday today.
Princess Beatrice will celebrate her birthday with her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, her sister, Eugenie, and the Queen at Balmoral.
Speaking in London earlier, Fergie said she was looking forward to a family party. She said: “It’s a very special birthday because she was born on 8/8/88 and now it’s 8/8/08. We’re having a very private party. I can’t tell you what her present is — that would spoil the surprise.” (via The Sun)
Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice of York (Beatrice Elizabeth Mary) was born at the Portland Hospital in London on 8 August 1988 weighing 6lb 12oz (3.06 kg).
Her father is The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the second son of Queen Elizabeth II and The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Her mother is Sarah, Duchess of York.
Beatrice was named after Princess Beatrice, the youngest daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. She has one sibling, a younger sister, Princess Eugenie, born in 1990.

There is an article on The Sun about Andrew, Fergie, Bea and Eugenie with a captured pic going to Balmoral. They will spend the weekend with the Queen and a private B-day for Bea. What a happy news of Fergie going after 16 years of not.
The only sad part of the article is that PP is not there or won’t be there.

Yeah he’s out on engagements but it’s very good to see the Duchess of York at Balmoral. The Queen & Sarah always got along very well and Andrew did mention in a interview that Sarah and The Queen can talk for hours about things that he don’t know about. I think it’s also great that The Queen is warm towards her since she lost her other daughter-in-law so tragiclly. It’s funny how Andrew & Sarah has stayed single this whole time, I think these two should get ack together. I know they have dated others since their divorce but they don’t fool members of the public, they remain devoted to each other and they do a great job in keeping their family together.

Rman, I think I remember Fergie saying Andrew knew about her trip with Wyatt. Fergie seems to be a more liberal person, so why should they get back together when they can be together and see others as well. I don’t think Fergie was anywhere as needy of Andrew as Diana was of Charles. IMO they probably had a don’t ask don’t tell relationship. But once the photogs got the toe photo, that was it and I think they really had no other option but divorce to save the RF image.

Sarah also said in a interview that John Bryan was not sucking her toes but just playing with her. I think since the photos look like she was getting her toes sucked it did a lot of damage. But that is behind them and as we can see that things are going on great for them. You just think of their loneliness and the fact that they haven’t remarried must mean something.

I think you’re right. They can’t use the kids as an excuse for them still spending time together. Both the girls are grown up now. But they’ll have to wait until Prince Philip leaves this earth. The Queen won’t go against him while he’s alive.

Interesting to read the names of those present on the holiday island but if PW and KM are there, then I have a feeling that there are at least two of the names that PW in particular will want to avoid.
If Mr Kay’s article had ,on this occasion, a semblance of truth then PW will probably know who passed the information on and he will not be pleased.
It is a rule of residency on the island that press connections are ignored as privacy of residents or guests is paramount.
It is possible that if a complaint is made about the matter the person concerned could be asked to sever his connection with the island.
Look out for future developements in the area.

The DM has really lost all credibility now. They’ve been cut off from whatever royal sources they had. The story about James and Pippa was cowritten by Richard Kay. In this article he says the Queen is bothered by Kate not having a job. But in one of his previous columns he claimed to have spoken to palace sources & they dismissed the idea saying Her Majesty wouldn’t want Kate to be involved in a scandal like Sophie was with the Sheik. Which is it? I’ll bet Kay doesn’t even remember he wrote that. And these writers expect us to believe Carole Middleton had tea with the Queen at Ascot? Bwahahaha!!!
