The Daily Mail has become the worst of the lot over the last several months. Not only are they always inaccurate but now they are down right nasty towards Ms Middleton and William. I can guarantee that 75-80% of the negative stuff written about that couple has come from the DM. All the other tabs like The Sun, Mirror, and NOTW have more of a balance. It's become pretty obvious the Mail has decided to cater to the anti Kate element online. That's why all the Kate haters treat their articles as the gospel truth & ignore the other papers. Especially if when one of the broadsheets speculate on an engagement announcement. By simply ignoring the good they can live off in their own delusional little world. But guys let's stop wasting so much energy on the haters. They aren't going to change because they don't want to.

Sonia,
You might think that Kate is only a simple girlfriend. It is perhaps your opinion, and that's fine. But, if Mme Tussaud is to make a statue of Kate Middleton (if the story is true of course), then she might not just be a simple girlfriend. I visited the Wax Museum in London some 8 years ago, and believe me, the folks that have their statue in there are VVVVIPs. Hence, Kate might not only be a simple girlfriend in the inner circles.

Perhaps, if the news of HK was true in the first place, whatever it is they where offered, taking the decision of moving out to another country, culture, is hard one, that is why usually loads of money including those bonuses and benefits are offered.

Gatcombe sounds good too, more homey settled.

Hay anyone made follow ups with Mandrakes articles (all articles). I have followed up R. English, Richard Kay, Katie Nicholls (all DM correspondents) plus The Sun guy, to catch their flaws (controversial writting). It would be interesting though, since I have noticed in one particular forum, the members follow 100 percent the DM articles, but do not consider the other articles from other tabs (the way of reporting), i.e. specially this latest club outing. All the other journalist wrote an "average" article, and the DM wrote a hardcore nasty one in its 3 changed versions. One then may tell towards which tendency that particular forum exchange their comments and opinions.

and I can tell that expats children live a spoilt life, bonuses include membership to highly placed country clubs (in the country they expat the person), schooling, home leave tickets in 1st class to the entire direct family members and more.

So I would think that P&A are doing there thing wisely, conveniently what is offered to them, whatever it is, but its good.

No conspiracy theory IMO, Peter was ascended in the bank where he works for and it bank has a huge branch office in HK, and conveniently his wife speaks Chinese, where she may further her PPRR career. The hello magazine says they will be working (the usual term when a business man/women is moved from one country to another in the firm is expatriated) for a period of 5 years. The expats usually receive huge bonuses and benefits, i.e. vacation home leave once or twice a year (tickets fully paid by the Co.). I know, I'm a daughter to an expat, the bonuses and benefits extend to the children of the worker-expat, i.e. the Co. pays the education (obviously you'd choose the best and most expensive one in the country they place the person)...its part of convincing the worker to move, usually they consider that person an asset, to spread the "know how".

I am shocked about Peter and Autumn moving to Hong Kong. Maybe selling their wedding pics has caused more issues with RF than the press lead on to. I would imagine and this is just a guess that those who run in RF circles have turned their noses up to Peter and Autumn for the photo spread. Very interesting though.

Rman,

At the time of the so called Break up in March/April 2007 it was reported that work on the Wax model of KM was discontinued by Madame Tussauds ,so obviously they had started the Model, which eventually will stand alongside PW (we hope) in the Royal Gallery at Tussauds
