Prince Harry picks Chelsy over Boujis Booze-up

Looks like Prince Harry is more into romance than rock ‘n’ roll. For the 23-year-old turned down the chance of a wild boozing match with hardcore rocker Cisco Adler at Boujis club on Thursday, to get cosy with his stunning missus instead.

Looks like we caned it a little too hard ourselves. Here’s the real inside scoop. Our clubbing mole told us: “Cisco’s a huge fan of Harry. So when he spotted him in the club having romantic drinks with Chelsy, he was desperate to run over and meet him. But staff advised him not to interrupt the love-birds.”

So Cisco participated in his own flashy drinking games racking up a massive bar bill, unlike Harry who merely cosied up and relaxed with Chelsy. Bless! (via Daily Mirror)

The very same paper had reported yesterday that Harry had wasted 5000 Pounds in a drinking competition with that Cisqo guy. The story is a little further down on the main page.
Turns out the Cisqo guy did all the drinking and money wasting himself and Harry had nothing to do with it.

Trixie I believe that photo of Harry and Chelsy kissing above (with some blue in the background) was taken at the Concert for Diana. I imagine he might have felt a wee bit self-conscious in front of thousands in the stadium, not to mention millions of viewers at home. :)

Was it the DM that first had the article about Chelsy and Harry night on the town, or was it the Mirror? Now that the DM doesn’t cover Kate and William or the Midds, they are turning to Harry, Chelsy,Beatrice and Eugenie. I think the Middleton’s personal lawyer’s must have had some words with the DM, cause now they have turned to other younger members of the RF.

Alsgal, Trixie, I agree that photo was taken at Diana Concert. Would love to see William put a big smooch on Kate like that in public!

Yep, it was definately the Concert for Diana. I remember because I loved her outfit and the way she had done her hair that day; I think the clip is really cute. (Sorry guys, girly moment there :P )

Alsgal, I’d like to see PW to kiss Kate as well. Not necessarily in a sopping “get a room” sort of way but a romantic kiss would definately show that he is proud of her and not embarrassed by the fact that he is love. I know I would feel awkward if my boyfriend showed me no affection in public it all, but then I love it when my boyfriend holds my hand or kisses me so it’s really a personal preference. William has always been more reserved as a whole and I think he is very self concious. I suppose Kate has accepted this. Although it would be nice if he loosened up a little at times, both in his romantic life and public role. I think it would make royal duties easier for him. I feel that he is still very reserved when he is doing the royal duties and is not yet comfortable. The years training will sort it that though :)

and I must say that whoever it was, I absolutely dreaded the red outfit with the jewelry, and to think some thought KM should have worn red to this past wedding, whom at the same time critisized her when supporting and wearing a “themed” same color outfit at PW passing at Sandhurst, but Chelsy who wore “themed” colours at PH medal nope, perfectly fine.

I think red is IMO a very vulgar colour to wear at a wedding, particularly if one is famous and already at risk of upstaging the bride.

I feel pastels for summer, and a few of the sedate jewel tones for winter (dark blues and greens) are always an appropriate choice. All black and too much white are out for obvious reasons.

It is reported that Harry is in Alberta, Canada.
    http://tinyurl.com/6catog

“Sporting a navy-blue polo shirt and jeans, the spiky-haired prince came to the bar with about 50 army buddies and several bodyguards, said the woman.

He was tight-lipped when asked about his father, but opened up about his brother, Prince William, who has reportedly rekindled his longtime romance with Kate Middleton, she said.

“(Harry) was really short about (his father), didn’t say much about him. But he was saying how his brother’s in love.”

Pippa looks lovely in the pictures over on the Hello website. Trudie Styler, standing next to Pippa, looks as if she is ill. Very, very pale.

Curious as to why Hello, after reporting that Kate lives at home with her parents and is working 9 to 5 at Party Pieces now assert in the article on Pippa’s rising status that she shares a flat in London with Kate?

I don’t understand how the same publication can claim within a week that Kate is living at home in Berkshire AND sharing a flat with Pippa in London — or does Kate drive out to Bucklebury everyday? Does anyone know how long the commute would be each way? If that’s true, then poor Kate, that is a long way to drive. I hope she at least has a really good CD player. :)

Some people in the world live and carry out activities in a specific area from monday to thursday (or friday) and from friday to sunday (or monday morning) in another area.

In other words, for example, Me – I have 2 properties; I live/activities in the coast – house, weekend to the city/capital 45 min-1 hour drive – flat. :)

alsgal, I am skeptical of Kate living in london at this point. It has been ages since she was seen in the area. My guess is that she is with William, whever he stays when he is around and with her parents when he is not around. How is Buckleberry from Highgrove?

  • alsgal

Me, I do understand that but the first Hello article about Kate working specifically said it was Mon-Fri, 9 to 5 at Party Pieces. Which is in Bucklebury, and which is, according to a Google map, an hour and 10 minute drive from London.
    Each way for goodness sakes!

If Kate is spending almost 2 1/2 hours a day in the car, Mon – Fri then I really wish William would propose officially as that seems kind of cruel to Kate, as she has been effectively forced to take the job with her parents.

Unless this new article about Pippa in Hello meant that they share a flat on the weekend (Sat/Sun) in London but that wouldn’t make sense as I thought Kate and William went away most weekends to one of the Royal estates in the country?

I’m very disappointed in Hello, which is one of my favorite magazines, for not getting their facts straight on something as simple as this, as it makes me wonder what else they are wrong about? :(

Lisa, I just saw your post :) — Highgrove to Bucklebury is 48 miles, or (it says) a little over an hour by car.

And I agree with you, it doesn’t seem like Kate is in London because we seldom see any pictures of her there anymore, and it makes sense that she is spending at least the weekend with William at Highgrove or Balmoral, etc. when William is around.

If she is working for PP full time (which also makes sense as we never see her in London, and which a friend apparently confirmed to Hello, a usually credible publication that stays away from nasty spirited rumours) why then does Hello state this week that Pippa and Kate share a flat in London in the article?

By stating that, it makes last weeks story about Kate working full time seem inaccurate, which then casts a negative light on Kate’s working/non working status. I don’t care for that one bit, as I think people should know that she does work full time and isn’t some WAG type. Journalistic sloppiness just gets on my nerves, that’s all.

My feeling is that all these facts will be cleared up once they announce the engagement. There are many scenarios. One is that some,if not all of Kates work for PP could be done via computer and not in the “office”. I am not completely convinced that Kate is working “fulltime” for her parents. I don’t think the public can be privy at this as to what she is doing. Time will tell :)

Harry says his brother is “in love.” How sweet. But you never know about whats printed. Good find Trixie! It does not surprise me that Harry would be so forthcoming about William feelings for Kate, it seems in his nature to do so.

So who is Pippa dating? Lady Goldsmith looks similar to Carole Middleton. Is that not her maiden name?

I would be surprised if Pippa lives in the same flat that Kate did. I would think that for security reasons, they might say they live in that flat, but really live somewhere else in London. I wonder if the press will start to follow Pippa like they did Kate or is she off limits too?

Lisa, I thought the same thing about Pippa dress. It does look like the one Kate wore to Sandhurst Ball. To bad there is not a picture of the back. It would not surprise me because Kate and Pippa seem to share clothes. Although I would think Pippa would have to have the length altered cause she is shorter that Kate. They are thrifty like that. They must have a good tailor on hand.

If you are referring to an older woman named Lady Annabel Goldsmith, no they aren’t related. Lady Annabel’s maiden named is Vane-Tempest-Stewart (d. of a Marquess) and she was married to the late Sir James Goldsmith, a billionaire financial tycoon.

I’m pretty sure the press would have pointed out any connection between the two families by now. :)

Alsgal, the distance isn’t that great when you think about it. A lot of people have to travel far to see their partners or have to travel for work. Besides,I doubt that they see each other every day, I imagine it’s more like once or twice a week when they are busy and perhaps three or five times when they are not. I would hope that both of them do have some days away from each other. I think if people are always together they tend to neglect other areas of their life e.g. family or friends. I hope Kate still has her girly days now and then. :)

LoV, I do agree the only way to survive a LTR or being married is to have a life of own’s own. Look at the Queen and Prince Philip, a very successful marriage IMO and yet they don’t spend every waking minute together. Even Camilla has her Ray Mill.

I would assume that Kate has lots of fun girly girl days with her besties from Marlborough and St. Andy’s. There is one rather unattractive frizzy brunette that I saw Kate with quite a bit, after the breakup last year when she went out to Mahiki a few times. I think it’s great that Kate is not one of those insecure girls who feels compelled to surround herself with only other thin, beautiful girls. I think that speaks volumes about Kate’s depth and loyalty as a friend that she doesn’t care what her friends look like. No, the girl isn’t that ugly betty but compared to Kate, well, let’s just say Kate must have a really big heart. :)

Kate of course, has to be extra careful about “friends” who betray her trust. I’d imagine that’s why she’s close to Pippa, as so few others have proven themselves as discreet.

That girl Trinny does appear to be one of her close friends and it is good that she has some good friends. I don’t think they are part of PW’s circle, are they? I imagine it would be nice for her to have some friends who are not part of that circle (providing they were discreet).

Trinny isn’t as pretty as Kate, although I have never thought Kate to be stunning as the papers are always saying. I don’t want to sound mean but I think she is pretty but average pretty not “OMG she’s beautiful”. Does that make sense? Anyway, I am glad that Kate does not see the need to be surrounded by rich, beautiful, skinny young women as well. It shows that there is a bit more depth to her as she clearly looks beyond appearances.

If it is true what Harry says about his brother being in love, then William would want to be with Kate as much as he can and she would do what she can to be with him. Oh the time away must have or at least I hope it has, however, whilst a couple would like to always spend time together in reality it is not possibly. There are so many other committments in life and as myself and alsgal said above, it is good for a couple to be apart sometimes so they have lots of talk about.

I don’t know whether I believe that Harry said that because members of the RF are usually discreet and he would know that could cause lots of speculation. Besides no other papers have picked it up (no major newspapers). I’m sure that they are in love but let’s face it would we expect them to feel anything else? We already knew that as they have been together so long.

LoV, I’d like to respectfully agree to disagree :) but I think Kate is not just average pretty — I think she is a beauty to the nth magnitude. I look at pictures of Ava Gardener, Jacklyn Smith, Caroline and Charlotte of Monaco, even some of the current beauty queens like Miss Venezuela and I think yep, Kate IS in the same league.

I think what Ked said about Kate being even more attractive in person is probably true, as everyone I’ve heard of has said, “Yeah, I saw her in person and it was like, wow!!!”

Methinks she also has that charismatic vibe that is something the cameras just can’t capture.

Also, is it just me or is anyone else reminded of a young Jane Symour (the actress.) Maybe it’s the hair, but I see a likeness there.

I don’t know if I agree with what makes a long term relationship work. I think for every couple it is different. I have been married for 15yrs., since I was 20 and my husband and I rarely spend time apart, other than when her works 60hrs. a week and I home with the kids. So when he is home, I don’t want to go out with the girls or he with the guys, we want to spend time with each other and are kids. But every couple is different, especially once one has children.

Gracie that’s good that you still engoy each other’s company but what I am talking about how many couples feel after 30, 40 years together, and trust me, sometimes a couple needs a break. But I do agree with you, every marriage is different.

IMO I don’t see William as guy who likes to be around his lady all the time; maybe it’s because we have seen him with his boy’s nights only even when he was first going out w/ Kate. His adventurious Sagittarius ascendant would point to that, as that’s a real macho sign. It would be in conflict with his Sun/Moon in Cancer, which are more domestic signs.

Ditto for Kate, who seems to enjoy her independence also doing things with the gals.

Hey, to each his own. :)

Alsgal, maybe by the time we reach our 30th, I might want to trade him in for a new model. Kidding. I think that the nature of the RF and the commitments required of them both together and apart, William and Kate can’t be clingy people. In the RF it seems as though the couples do more apart then together. Now if a union with Wills and Kate were to happen, I think the public would like to see them together, but that can’t always be. In that type of relationship, where you work with your husband most of the time, then yes you would want some girl time. But once you start to spend to much time apart then you have to worry about mistress time as well.

I agree with Alsgal on Kate beauty. I don’t really care for her when she is overly tan, I think it looks better on Pippa. But I think she is very beautiful and really her full potential has not been seen yet. I think Kate has done well with the limited sources she has, but once an engagement is announced she will have more access. I see Kate looking as glamorous as Princess Mary of Denmark, but more beautiful. I think the world will be very surprised by her if she is ever given the chance.

  • alsgal

Kate super tan is not my favorite look, as I think of her as a true English rose. I think Pippa is one of the few girls who can handle being tan all day, every day. I don’t know why, but I think it just looks good on her and I really cannot imagine her any other way.
btw I don’t understand why someone in one of the comments section said “if Kate marries into the BRF, then Pippa is surely destined for the Dutch Royal Family.” Why is that? I thought she was dating the Scottish guy? Are there any eligibles left in the House of Nassau-Orange, as I think Willem was the last? Strange, maybe they aren’t printing anything after Jamesgate.

Gracie, re royal partnerships being as they are, here’s my theory: the Royal couples don’t do a lot of engagements together because they can cover more ground separately. It is nice to see them together, but this way is probably more efficient.

I also have to agree with you, Kate will outshine all the lovely “new” princesses like Mary and Maxima and Esmarelda because she is younger and has the better education. She is also, to my mind, much more beautiful.

why are you guys doting so much on kate? To be honest, I believe she looks like any other regular girl, she is elegant and looks like she is well behaved (enough to be good queen material), but nothing extraordinary on that (except that she is dating the future king of england). So dont you think you are over doting on her a little bit too much? William (like his father with diana) may get upset of people over praising just on kate and not on him.

Alsgal I doubt Kate’s education is better than that of Maxima and Mary. If I am not mistaken Mary studied economics and law and worked as a PR expert, Maxima studied economics and was a banker. They are hardly uneducated compared to someone with a Bachelor in history of arts.
I agree about he beauty part but I also think any wife of William’s will outshine other royals for the simple reason that there is MUCH more attention paid to the BRF in general. I’m sure if Charles had a young pretty wife or William was married already Mary and Maxima would never have gotten the international attention they did. They press only cared because they are still looking for another Diana…

I think everyone has their own view on what beauty is and there is nothing wrong with that. It is just my opinion, that she is just as pretty as a lot of other girls out there, but I don’t think she is anything special. I love the way she dresses as well. Sometimes I thinks she wears a bit too much black and white even in the summer, but she has her own style even if it is not adventurous. I have not liked some of her clothes in the past (usually because she pairs the boots with them! Lol ) but I thought that the dress she wore to the wedding this weekend was lovely and it was so nice to see her in liliac. That colour definately suits her, she should wear it more.

  • alsgal

LoV, I would like to see lilac become one of Kate’s signature colors, and perhaps also a very delicate pearl pink. She wears colour well, and although the black and white look is very crisp and polished it can look sometimes a little harsh when contrasted with the skin tone. In other words, the clothes photograph great, but sometimes it looks a little severe against the person underneath. That’s JMO and I don’t mean to imply Kate looks anything short of spectacular. Like I say, burlap sack, and Kate would still make that look pop.

Maixima make be an economics major, and Mary may have studied law, but Kate’s History of Art degree is nothing to be sneezed at as it’s not considered one of those fluffy courses like some others offered in uni. Also, it’s from a very prestigious university, which I am not so sure the other Princesses attended? Correct me if I’m wrong; I don’t keep up with those other RF’s as to my POV, nothing is more important than the British Royal Family.

Sonia, I really don’t believe anyone here dotes on Kate. Yes, I think she’s got some pretty special qualities and a pretty special Prince :) , but I think if you read through my posts I am merely being fair and am simply not biased against her, which these days, is how many in the press seem to be.

My question is this: who here doesn’t love a fairytale, where a poor but beautiful maiden is found by her Prince and whisked away to happily ever after? I know I do, and must confess to being just a little impatient that these two haven’t announced a date yet, as I plan to be there wearing my W&C T-shirt and waving my Union Jack. :)

Now here is one for the girls — Kate Middleton, bored while waiting for her prince to make the right moves and propose to her, fancies restyling her hair. But I hear that Prince William “likes it long and glossy.” Is it true ladies that if you change your hair no matter what your man says you are starting to get bored? Kate tells my source, “she loves to swim daily but hates the time it takes to dry it.”

Just to keep you up to speed on the coming royal wedding of Prince William & Kate, I hear that the duo is keen to have James Blunt sing at any event they organize. I also hear that “You’re Beautiful“ is “their song.“ Well, it’s better that Fergie and Andrew’s “Lady in Red.”

Does he not realize that he just contradicted himself? In one paragraph he says she is waiting for a proposal and in the next he talks about the “upcoming wedding”. Which is it,Neil?

Lisa, thank you for the info. I suspected that might be the reason Kate always wears it down, because William likes it that way. Even if the article is untrue (as well it could be) it would make sense that having such a gorgeous mane like that might indeed take a fair amount of time to maintain, as Kate has supermodel hair and we all know gals just don’t roll out of bed w/ hair looking that good.

I can identify too, as my Al loves me with my hair up in a scrunchy. He calls me his pineapple under the sea, but hey, at least I know I’m pleasing my man. :)

alsgal,I always thought Kate wore her hair down because William liked it that way ;) The things we do for the boys! I feel her pain on the care of it. I remember the days of spending almost an hour to straighten and style my long hair. Seeing pictures of kate with wavy hair after she gets out of the water makes me realize how much time she must invest in styling it.

Lisa, I think few of us can realise the pressure Kate is under to always be picture perfect, and I certainly wouldn’t have any idea of the time that is necessary to achieve that level of perfection.

While we all know William is not with her merely for her looks and “physical reasons” and that she is known to be very kind person with a sparkling personality, let’s face it, she is going to be known more for what she looks like at this point than for what what she actually does. That’s not a negative judgement, that’s just how it is, as few of us know anything about her interests/hobbies or what she does every minute of the day and most of us, however shallow it may seem, base our opinion of her on her visible appearance or demeanor. She knows that, so therefore takes great effort with her appearance, and I applaud her for that. :)

I agree Alsgal, even once they marry she will still be critiqued on her clothes, her looks, etc. Much like Diana did. The more public events she attends, the more she has to worry about her appearance. Her hair is one of her defining traits and I can see why William might like it long. I think she might trim off a few more inches once she becomes a full time royal and has various duties to attend to. I don’t ever see her cutting off any more than shoulder length though, it that. I think that is why she has added more layers, because it makes it less heavy especially if you have curly hair.

I can totally understand how she feels about her hair, my own in long, blonde and although soft and glossy, it is very wavy/curly so it takes a long time to dry and style. Personally I keep wondering about cutting my hair shorter but I just doubt whether it would suit me or not. Back to Kate though: IMO if she wants to cut her hair shorter, then she should. She has to remember that she has to live with it not William and he should love her anyway.

I am feeling rather rebellious today and want to encourage female independence (don’t be surprised if I rant…I just found out my finacee was cheating on me with my best friend.) Apologies in advance.

Curly hair is difficult to manage and I have often thought that Kate should try a new style. A change is as good as a rest after all. Perhaps she should wear it up more or in different ways to see whether she likes it shorter or not.

LoV, my sympathies to you, dear. :(
As many of you know, my Al took the whole concept of applying for a job at Tim Horton’s to a whole new level when he played hide the pogo stick with the Night Manager he interviewed with. It almost broke us, but I gave Al a second chance, because I thought, if Kate, Camilla, Grace or HM can be patient with their Princes, I should be patient with mine. I always look to the Royals to set an example of what one should aspire to, and with the wee exception of Camilla, they’ve never let me down.

We’ve got different views there then alsgal but then you probably have more experience in that sort of thing if your married and copied with those circumstances. I thought about giving him a second chance but the trust is gone. Still, I have my beautiful baby to keep me company, so I’ll manage.

    Thanks anyway alsgal

You’re welcome LoV and it sounds like you are young enough that you can make a different choice, but everybody has to do what works for them. Me, I’ve got my dogs and little mini-zoo here and that makes me content as I know real strorybook type love at my advanced age, is elusive. Girls in their twenties or so still have a lot of options, and don’t need to put up with a roving man unless that is their choice.

I hope time wounds your heel, to twist that old phrase around. Best of luck to ya and that little baby.

Thanks alsgal, yeah I’m only 22 so it hopefully it will be okay. Dogs are always a comfort aren’t they? I have a dog called Rain as she has a tendency to stand outside when it is tipping it down- strange dog, bless her.

Back to William and Kate: Does anyone (nudge nudge ked) have any idea where they are at the moment? I presume that they are back from the wedding in Austria. When does PW’s training begin?
