I have always believed that there is something between these this couple that we dont know yet. It sounds very unrealistic to me that kate will be waiting for william many more years after she has already been waiting for about 5 yrs. Either, they are secretly engaged, or they already broke up and are just friends, and dont want to say anything to the public but I dont think that KM will be waiting for PW without having a more important status other than just being his girlfriend.

Sonia I really agree with you. Something is up and I don’t believe one bit that William will leave her hanging for a couple of years. This RAF plan includes Kate but nothing is made public yet. But all of this will calm down.

let’s hope this is not one of the scenarios that Ked thought might possibly develop:
the palace sees to it that Will becomes simply too involved in his career duties to marry, for at least a couple of years….
this provides Will with face saving cover for not stepping up to the plate….he is after all in line for the throne, and needs to have this additional raf career training and experience….so if kate despairs and drifts off, will won’t be blamed
let’s hope that’s not the plan

Hello,
There is something in the air. I was out for a meal last evening near the Kings Road and there was a lot of talk about KM/PW but maily about PW.
When this is happening I always keep quiet feign a lack of interest and listern to comments quite loudly expressed over the ale and sometimes pass them on to you lot.
I feel that PW must be dreading his next public appearance apparently and is keeping out of sight but no one seems to know why . It’s just a lot of chatter , some name calling round and about and a lot of expectancy.
Very unusually I am in that position that I just don’t know what to expect but there is a sort of mystifying air around and this in an area that is usually so positive and very much pro KM/PW.
I suppose we all have to sit tight and listern to what we think is accurate and what we think is rubbish ,make our own minds up but above all be hopeful.
Someone must say something before long

That was a comment made last evening with great suspicion that they have’nt been a “couple” for some time.
I had heard stories , not yesterday that PW had assured his family that they were very good friends and would always remain so and I must admit that seeing them sometimes they don’t look like a couple but like brother and sister. At that time I put it down to PW’s seemingly reluctance to show feelings in pulic, but again who knows ?
There is a lot of confusion and we may never get the story, but I recall a post on here about a year ago which speculated that PW’s position was to be enhanced to regain his popularity and thus save the monarchy whilst KM would just be left to fade away. It sounded far fetched then but one just has to wonder when things turn out like this but the press may not allow it to happen as she is so newsworthy. She may be around for years like Camilla to haunt all and sundry.
Whilst w’ere telling tales, I did hear a week ago that HM was as surprised as anyone by PW’s decision to commit to the RAF and was concerned at risk but I was not impressed by the source but who knows at tkis time. I think she really thought of his taking part of the load off possibly herself and PP .

Hang on for a second. How have they not been a couple for quite some time?
They looked happy as can be on William’s birthday in June. After that William was gone with the navy for 5 weeks and hence they couldn’t see each other but the first thing they did after his navy stint was a holiday in Mustique in early August (just about 1 1/2 months ago). After their return they spend more time together and were out in Bouji and just two weeks ago attended a friends wedding reportedly looking very much in love, holding hands etc (reports from the Austrian press which can hardly be accused to have any sort of agenda when it comes to William and Kate). Last Monday William started a new attachment with the military flying some fighter jets or something and hence couldn’t attend her charity party and that fact leads you to believe he dropped her? When? Last Sunday?
His plans for next year have been in the making since MAY. Just because neither of us had taken the Sun article seriously and rather went with the widely circulated “apprenticeship” next year, doesn’t mean Kate didn’t know what happened or isn’t very much in with William’s decision.
And sorry but if all of this is just one big hoax to improve William’s image and hurt Kate’s, William must be the coldest, most cruel, calculating and manipulative person on earth since I cannot imagine for the life of me how he manages to spend so much time with Kate, smile and laugh with her all the while knowing that he’s gonna drop her like a hot potatoe soon.

I’m sorry ked,but I cannot buy into pub talk over the state of William and Kate’s relationship. I think sticking to what we know as fact is best right now. There are far too many rumors going around to do anything else.

Read your history.
Consider the actions of recent and older ancestors and remember not only does PW have Royal genes but also Spencer gens.
Think about the adjectives you use in your last paragraph and then apply them to Royalty in the past.
This line have been sovereigns and monarchs virtually since time immemorial and how do you think they survived .
Even in rcent times consider PW’s own father and his actions to ensure he inherits and will have Camilla crowned Queen, That is a recent and easily accepted fact. Then project backwads in time and consider other actions and ask werre they real or made up stories.
I don’t want to believe them either but sometimes reality has to be faced and there is nothing more I’d love to see than KM getting all she wishes for her life.

OK how has Queen Elizabeth II shown her cruel, ruthless, manipulative nature or her father King George IV?
I admit that both Charles and Diana were manipulative and hurt many people on the way to achieve their goal to hurt the other one respectively but none of them directed their efforts against someone they “liked”. Also William’s position doesn’t compare because he is not bound to Kate by martial vows. He doesn’t need a war of roses to get ridd of her and get out of the marriage with the upper hand – to achieve the best possible divorce deal etc. He can just say it’s over and that’s that and after that he has a very effective PR machine to repai his own image should it have suffered from a seperation. Butt he time for that would have been last year. Absolutely no need to tkae Kate back, ruin her reputation (and William’s as well on the way) and then drop her (again). That sounds more like a plan of a mad man or just a completely unfounded conspiracy theory
Charles never did anything to hurt Camilla – and why should he? He tried to spin the press in her favour – not against her.

I agree PW has never publcally admitted to loving or thinking of marrying KM. Why did she reluctantly agree to a reconciliation in June/July 2007 ? Any promises made ? You girls know the answer. His and CH’s comments have always been ” they are very good friends”.
PW did what he was told to do for the sake of the monarchy and his perceived ‘blue eyed saviour of the house of Windsor’ image and at that time remember KM was the darling of the nation with 80+% of sample taken showing she was their choice as NEXT Queen.
You recall the reported message to PC from HM ” find PW a job”. So he made an offer, RAF or cutting hedges at Sandringham and sudenly PW was no longer a Soldier, his initial choice, but a potentional RAF Save and Rescue Pilot PW is no country boy like his father and flying was a better option. Surprisingly, PC would know he was at the very least delaying a PW/KM wedding thus gaining time (for what ? who knows).
Trixie, surprise , surprise, I have read through your recent posts, also for B,lisa,and Apryl and I didn’t say anything you hadn’t mentioned or implied over past days. I may have put it a little stronger and straighter.
By the way as a matter of interest if PW becomes a qualified Save and Resucue Pilot, who do think takes the extremely dangerous and dodgy operation ? I wonder.

He just announced that he will extend his training in Jan so what we are waiting to see is what they will do next. I don’t think people mind him going into the RAF for a couple of years but they want to know what he & KM plan is. Charles really pushed Camilla out there and she was seen visiting centers, attending royal events and being a future wife to him, even though she wasn’t at the time. I have a strong feeling William will now do the same and it’s what’s he have to do. It’s time. It was good to see Kate out there helping raise money for a late friend. That is what she needs to be doing from now on. Getting involved in great causes, I’m sure she has her interest in different things. She has been doing things behind the scenes but the public needs to see her doing it. Things changed once the public saw Camilla getting involved in organizations like The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust etc. Once they see Kate in action you will see a major shift in opinions and attitude. Kate is just getting started and I’m waiting to see more. GO KATE!!!!
