I mean no matter where they go to like parties, vacations etc, you never really see any black people. I just think that is interesting. Unless they don’t have any black friends. Not to say they are Prejudice in anyway though because I highly doubt they are.

Harry and William have a very small social circle and they don’t seem to go outside of that. That’s why we always see them w/the same bunch of friends. It would be nice if they would spread the wings a little more and let more people in. But I guess it’s hard for them to trust people. Even Chelsy who is SA is never seen hanging out w/anyone of color. It’s sad that the only time you see them w/blacks is if there is a concert like Diana Concert or for charity. Who knows what they truly believe? WE have not seen Kate since Sept. 17, where is she?

about the friends: It doesn’t surprise me that neither William nor Harry seem to have friends of colour. Their friends come from the British upper class, I doubt it includes many blacks. Harry may be friends with the Lesotho Prince he has the Sentabale charity with (forgot his name) and maybe some of their military comrads are blacks – Harry would naturally have had more of a chance to connect with military people than Wills since he spend more time in one place with the same regiment ever since 2 years now.
It is more of a surprise that Chelsy doesn’t seem to have any black friends but then even 20 years after the apartheid ended, I guess there’s still not too many black multi-millionaires children she could have connected with. And then from age 11-18 she was educated in Cheltenham girls college in the UK – no black friends there either.

I don’t know, I just think it’s interesting. I’m sure they are friendly with many people of color but none seem to be in their circle. Their long distant cousin on their mother side is Former Secretary of State Colin Powell. So there are people of color in their family. Maybe they have friends we just don’t know about and don’t see.

Unless he had been exposed to black friends at Eaton or his university in Edinburgh it would have been unlikely. & even if he had met one or two it doesn’t mean that they would have become friends. It is what it is… I wonder where Kate actually is right now & how she manages to maintain such a low profile. The press my try to stake out her place.

Poor Eugenie, lets hope she doesn’t have the same tragic romantic life as her mother.
Rman, I think it’s a shame William and Harry don’t appear to hang out socially with many other kinds of people who aren’t like them, but I do not think that means they are racist. It does seem like most of their social group is made up of people like them (rich, white, old families, Christian) and for whatever reason these are the people William and Harry have chosen to be friends with.
Certainly there were many people of varying races and religions and also those who weren’t as well off (students on scholarship) at Eton and Uni, but I don’t see many of these types in their social group. However, I don’t believe that is due to a deliberate exclusion on the part of W&H, though.
At least they get to meet lots of different people during their public engagements and whilst serving in the military, so I’m sure they have a very tolerant nature towards all, and that IMO is a good thing.

Express has article on Pippa and how she is hunting for a man w/a title and country home. I guess the press is moving to her because Kate is laying low. If William breaks up with Kate and it gets out, the press are going to tear Middleton’s to shreads! It is really sad.

gracie I find it puzzleing how people always talk about William breaking up with Kate instead of Kate breaking up with William or the two of them deciding to end thing etc. I am not singleing you out because everyone does it. It is like people don’t see Kate as an equal in this relationship and can’t imagine her actually ending things with William. Kate’s life will be the one to drastically change if she ever becomes William’s wife and maybe it is she, not William that is in no hurry to make that plunge.
Having said that,I still have not seen anything to lead me to the conclusion that William and Kate have broken up or plan to. I am not buying into the so called inside information certain bloggers claim to have into Britians Royal family. I think the only difference between them and us is bandwidth!

I just read the article. I think that this articles is tearing the Middletons already to shreds.
If it is not and that is mild, I would hate to see an article which does. How does he know all of that? It makes them both out to be women out to snag a man of title. How unfair to both of them. I think that it is open seaseon on anyone associated with Kate. How sad that they don’t look for the good in Kate-her starting to work for charities. Her role in PP has a while ago been launched. Her remaining close to her family and giving them her support.
Her gaining maturity in not goiing out all of the time-her laying low. I wish that they would give her a break.

Alsgal once referred to Kate as a saint and let me tell you guys something. If Kate and William are over and it went down the way it is rumored( and I don’t think it did, and I don’t think they are over) Kate *would* be a saint not to get out there and tell her side of things after all these years of “dignified silence” and taking it on the chin week in and week out from these tabloids. I have tremendous respect for her because of how she has stayed loyal to him through this. I hope it all works out for her because I believe she truely loves the man and is willing to walk through fire for him.

That was a great video. I think it’s totally safe to say that both of The Prince’s has found the love of their lives. It’s something about their relationships that is real and not a fairytale. I have loved that song since it came out and it fitted very well with the video.

Harry and Chelsy are adorable, yes, but William and Kate IMO have that special magic something. I can see it in Kate’s eyes each time they are together, and I think we would see it in William’s eyes, too — if only the paps weren’t around.

There’s some interesting speculation floating around about Andrew & Sarah. Look, to be frank with you guys I really do think those two should drop the non-sense and get back together. I know it’s easier said than done but they have not moved on and they have a way of acting like they are still married. Sarah said she really regrets the divorce. Even Charles in a interview said he wished that his separation with Diana never happened. I just believe Andrew & Sarah belong together and The Queen is more warm to her.

Sorry I haven’t posted for ages, I’ve been so busy with work recently.
Alsgal, it’s strange that you say that because I think the complete opposite. I see the magic in Harry’s and Chelsy’s eyes rather than William’s and Kate’s. It’s strange how people see completely different things in the same pictures, that always amuses me as I love variety of opinion.
I think that Harry and Chelsy are likely to make it. I think everyone forgets that marriage speculation had already began for PW and KM when they were 23/24 (just after uni). I think because PH and CD are younger people still think of them as being too young to marry. JMO of course, but I do think that that could be why the papers do not discuss marriage speculation between them.

My doubts regarding Harry and Chelsy are mostly about what she will have to give up to be with him in the long run. It’s alot. many have pointed out how Chelsy is studying to be a lawyer, which takes alot of work. It would be hard for her to work as a lawyer if she marries harry,IMO. Chelsy also has an issune,IMO with some of her friends who are continueing to post less then flattering pictures of her in places where they end up on the internet. Anyway,hey are too young at this point to start speculating on their future thankfully. Alot can happen over the next few years. Right now they seem happy and thats a good thing!

You raise a very good point Lisa it would be very hard for Chelsy to practice law in England and be married to Prince Harry. But given that Prince Harry is second in line to the thrown there is nothing to say that they couldn’t move to South Africa and she practice there.
I don’t see Chelsy as the ribbon cutting type. Different girls for different guys.
William is the one who is tied to England and can’t move anywhere. I think PH movements are a little more flexible.
As for the sparkle B I think what I see with those two is a lot more obvious unrestrained chemistry. Harry doesn’t care if he is seen holding hands with Chelsy. If William holds Kate’s hand or so much as looks at her with interest the media go bezerk and say that they are getting engaged tomorrow. He is aware of that & I think holds back a lot more because of it. He’s just not into PDA.

On the PDA issue: I think William is simply VERY aware of the press attention on him and is almost obsessed with hiding his private life.
I recently read an old article talking about 10 year old (!) William hiding his letters at school so that they wouldn’t fall in the wrong hands whereas Harry’s were lying around everywhere.
It’s not just Kate that we do not have PDA pics with. He had girlfriends before her and we do not even have pictures of him with them at all. If I recall there’s not a single pic of him and Arabella Musgrave, not one of him as much as talking to Jecca though she’s been at least a close friend for almost 10 years and they frequently attended the same events together (BBBall 06, 08, birthday this year, van Cutsem wedding 05). There are only two or three pics of him talking to Holly Branson who’s a good friend as well. So the fact that he’s been pictured (though rarely) kissing and hugging Kate is already more then we have of him and any other woman.
In contrast there have been pics of Harry hugging and kissing other girls before he was with Chelsy so that’s not uncommon behaviour for him either. It’s just that neither had a steady public longterm g/f before so that it’s hard to compare but I think William would always act like he does with Kate and Harry always be as outgoing as he is with Chelsy.

It is pretty obvious that she is driving and on the phone at the same time.
I don’t think it is making a big deal of it at all actually, there have been several cases recently where people have been on their phones, crashed their car and some very young children or their parents have been killed. There is a lot of public opinion at the moment about dangerous driving, a couple of months ago a baby was paralysed for life due to a man driving irresponsibly. Nobody is above the law and there is no excuse at all. The law is in place for a very good reason and she broke it.
Alsgal is right she should have pulled over.
She really should have been more careful as she does not need this type of press at the moment. I’m sorry but I cannot excuse her at all, even if she was being pursued by the press (she has had it a lot worse before) and if was an official complaint or if the police did help her, there would have been a story about it. That would have actually been positive for her, the classic “Here I am to work, you are following me, do you see why I could not work in London”. But I very much doubt she was.
I don’t want her to be prosecuted for this, she was not stopped by the police at the time so it would be unfair. Let’s just hope that she has learnt her lesson and will be more careful in future.

Not to downplay the crime here but in the US talking on a cell while driving is also banned yet everyone does it from time to time. This is another example of how it must suck somedays to be Kate Middleton. She falls roller skating and it turns into hundreds of worldwide press articles, she uses her phone and gets caught. What will it be next, jaywalking? That IS illegal in England,right?
Although not a wise thing to do on Kate’s part, what we see from these situations is that she is human just like the rest of us who fall skating,get parking tickets and yes, talk on the phone while driving. I would personally prefer a princess or queen who I could identify with rather then one who spent her life in some glass bubble.
The REAL story here should be the papparazzi in front of her and on the side of her while she is driving. Seems like that little fact is being forgotten here. Maybe the headlines today should be “shame on the papparazzi pursuing Kate Middleton in her car”
