Princes William and Harry attend Bond premiere
Princes William and Harry have given the new James Bond film the royal seal of approval after attending the world premiere of new thriller Quantum of Solace.
Walking up the red carpet in dinner jackets, the young princes looked every inch as dapper as Bond himself – played by actor Daniel Craig.
Craig was also dressed in black tie but had his arm in a sling after an operation on a shoulder which he hurt doing stunts for the film.
He and the young princes were received by a thunderous roar from fans who braved the cold in London’s Leicester Square to watch the film stars and guests arrive for the premiere.
With Remembrance Day approaching, William and Harry, who both serve in the armed forces, asked for funds raised at the glitzy premiere to go to two charities, the Royal British Legion and Help For Heroes. (via Sky News)

William and Harry looked great at the premiere. Has anyone else noticed that William seems more at ease in public as of late? He doesn’t look quite as uncomfortable and insecure as he used to.

I think the digital camera photos where sold to those guys by a third party. Just an assumption, though. I have no evidence to prove this, as it’s only a opinion. The guys that got caught were the fall guys, but the trail lead to the real sellers. It’s all very 007!
As far as Harry getting better press I am not quite sure what to think other than he seems to be more comfortable and in his element interacting with people than PW. PH seems to have more of the “IT” factor no matter what he does. I think PW has unresolved issues w/in himself that he needs to work out. Sometimes he can appear vacant. JMO. I’m starting to think PH will marry before PW though. JMO.

Talk of third parties, people hiding things, pro kate, pro BP etc. are being suggested as a reason for Kate’s absence. It hasn’t been too long however since she has been seen. However, after seeing her in papers almost every day, it might just seem like a long time. Forever, people have been calling for her to work. She has too much time on her hand, holidays were what people said. Now that she is working, everyone wonders why we haven’t seen much of her. As for her and William, I am hoping for the best. I hope that people are wrong in the fact that they have broken up. Kate seems to really love William and visa versa. I would hope to see them together soon. As some would say that Kate fell and hurt her back, I am hoping for word that that is not the case. I hope that she is sighted soon so that we know that she is alright

The DM says PW and PH did not attend the after party at Battersea. Hopefully, I spelled it right! For any man it is always best to have a good woman beside them. I don’t think the RF has figured that out yet as they would be to concerned about the girls getting more attention than the princes. That’s why Camilla walks behind Charles. A Queen reigns and the woman still walk behind the men! Clearly in photos it is PH who shines and seems more natural. The DM in one phots of PW says that he look diffident. That can’t be what the PR machines were hoping. PW will need a lady who can make up for what he lacks. Similiar to what Diana did for Charles.
I have heard those rumors about Kates back and no doubt she looks to have taken a nasty fall. She was driving only a couple of weeks ago and would not be able to do that if her back was in to much pain. I guess last night was not a girls night. I just don’t think we will see Kate on PW side again. I still try to continue to hold out hope though.

I think it’s rather obvious that Harry has a lot of charisma. Unfortunately you can’t learn that or fake it. So in that respect William doesn’t stand a chance. He won’t get any “better”. It’s only too bad that in the media run world your “look” and the question how photogenic you are basically determines people’s opinion. He may shake as many hands as Harry, crack as many jokes but he’ll never leave the same impression on those looking at pics or videos. Any woman who’s half way charming and pretty would “overshadow” William just like most Princesses or Queens overshadow their husbands. Luckily enough for him William doesn’t come across as jealous when it comes to public appeal or affection. He doesn’t mind his little brother getting the better press and I assume he wouldn’t mind his wife either. He can surely work on his public behaviour a little but he’ll never have the same impact his late mother did or his little brother does. That’s life.

Well, it sounds like PW will always have a battle w/the press then. Yes, charisma is a gift and PW will have to work a little harder at it. Only time will tell how PW will handle it all.

Thanks, gracie — good to see them going to such a serious minded event together — I am really thinking Miguel Head and Geoffrey Whatshisname are giving them great advice now PR wise.
They really seem to be spending a lot of time together, and that is great.
However, my trusty Google map tells me Cambridge is only 118 miles from Bucklebury, which is an 1 1/2 hour drive if you drive like I do, or 2 hours 15 minutes if you are more safety-conscious and law-abiding like our B.

It is interesting that John on RA also comments on the fact that there is some sort of press black out on KM. Something is definitely going on & I don’t know that it is positive. If like we have all discussed before things were going down a positive route then there would be no point because it would have gone crazy anyway one the engagement stories hit her profile should be being raised in a positive manner if that were the case. They may well just be trying to do the quiet phase out while raising both PW & PH profiles.

I loved all the Bond coverage and though the boys looked great. Hope they enjoyed the movies. I agree with Trixie, William does look more relaxed then usual. I think there has been a change in his life. So when it comes to him and KM. Positive or negative I hope whatever they have decided to with their relationship will make both happy.

So I decided to look up what a news black out actually meant & just like you guys have mentioned before it is usually as per the below article an agreement between the press to not report on something usually as a matter of National Security.
Which makes me wonder what on earth could be going on with Kate to warrant every single newspaper (bar phonegate by the Daily Mail) agreeing not to write about her? Trixie and B even you have to admit that something fishy is going on. That not one newspaper article jumped on the fact that Kate was not at Williams going away drinks when usually at a drop of a hat they are all over that. It doesn’t make sense that it is an engagement because it would be going the other way. Maybe Alsgal was right about picturegate. Maybe when they realized how easy it was to access the photographs in Pippa’s car?
The below article make me more suspicious as to whether Harry and Chelsy really did have a woble or whether it was a well planned out stragety to keep the general public in the dark which in Harry’s case it was warrented. We should be able to come up with some reason as to why this is happening??

Although someone else already pointed out, it’s not like it’s in the national security interest not to report on Kate, or anything remotely that serious.
If there was a blackout or even a gentleman’s agreement, it didn’t stop the papers from splashing the cell phone pics across the pages, which if an agreement had been in place, I’m thinking CH would have wanted or attempted to prevent.
Perhaps the newspapers are sick of playing the waiting game w/ W&K, or perhaps they are now giving her their version of “compassionate leave.”
So many questions. I just would like to see them coming out of Boujis together, so we can see that everything is alright. Heck, even a Tesco would suffice — just something indicating they are still happily together.

I wonder if the press did indeed grow tired of the waiting game and decided that she is only news if they make her news? But again that is mooted by the fact that they were sending journalists up there to hide in the bushes and take pictures? But even John who works in the media industry has voiced that there is some sort of news black out on her, he is just not sure in what capacity. Nobody actually asked him why Alsgal as to why he thinks this is the case? Maybe you can?
I’d be happy with Tescos at the moment as well. This is so frustrating
