Certainly, it's probably better to make it on one's own then on another's coattails. But it's better to work than not work and it sounds as if Pippa has been socially ambitious since her Marlborough days -- pre-William -- so that may just be the way she is. As long as she's not rude or arrogant to the people "beneath" her then I feel it's pretty much her business who she hangs out with. I still think Lisa and Trixie are right -- what Carole said to Mandrake could really be taken either way, that they're on or off (or ONFF ;) ) It would certainly be nice to see them together, although even if we see Kate with a dead bird in her hand at Sandringham there's no way of knowing if she's there as the Girlfriend or an ex-girlfriend, Jecca-style.
