BREAKING NEWS – Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy Split
Several newspapers are tonight reporting that Prince Harry, and his girlfriend of five years, Chelsy Davy, have split up.
The couple, who only weeks ago returned from a holiday on Mauritius, have reportedly had a series of talks about their future together over the past few days. And Harry has apparently been taking advice from his father, Prince William and his uncle, Earl Spencer, about his future in recent weeks.
Friends of Chelsy have said that she could no longer put up with his lifestyle and time apart. The young couple have had to endure long periods of separation whilst they both pursue their careers.
A senior courtier has stated that – “The couple had a lot of fun but the relationship has run it’s course. They are still on speaking terms but they are categorically no longer an item.”
Palace spokespersons have refused to comment on the Prince’s personal life, but the story is expected to be widely reported in the Sunday papers.
The fun-loving, young couple certainly seem to have had their ups-and-downs over the last five years. They previously split in late 2007, but soon reconciled, so only time will tell whether their relationship is over for good.

It does look like this time it is serious. Meg I think when they refer to Prince Harry’s lifestyle they are talking about all of the things mentioned in the DM article. Prince Harry is also rumored to have a wandering eye and to have strayed many times during his relationship with Chelsy. It’s all rumor but things like missing her birthday to go to the rugby match in France can’t have helped. Anyway I guess it is fingers crossed for PW KM then.

The Times is also reporting it, and saying that Chelsy was the one who did the breaking up. But… we have heard this before. We will see how long it lasts. OTOH, they are bothe very young, so maybe they need to see the world a bit.

His military life was too much pressure? Yeah, because dating the third in line to the throne is a just a breeze in comparison to that.
Sorry, not buying it. Besides, would YOU take romantic advice from Earl Spencer (how many times married) and Prince Charles (who only married Diana because of pressure to do so, he lost Camilla the first time because he played the “I don’t want to get married until my thirties” game.).
