Paris Hilton has vowed not to make a move on the newly single Prince Harry — out of respect for her friend Chelsy Davy.

The 27-year-old socialite ruled out a royal romance while she was in the UK to promote her new TV show, Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend.

“I think he’s a nice guy,” the Telegraph newspaper quoted Paris as saying of Prince Harry. I love Chelsy though — I think she’s so sweet — so I wouldn’t try anything.”

News broke of Prince Harry’s split with Davy, his girlfriend of five years, last week. The local tabloid press has reported the break-up was due to pressures over the young royal’s military career.

Even before the break-up, Hilton had shown a keen interest in Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William.

Last year, it was reported Hilton tried to flirt with the brothers while she was on the dance floor at a London nightclub. Hilton was reportedly snubbed by Prince Harry but spoke briefly to Prince William before passing on her phone number to him.

The US socialite then became a close friend of Davy when she was filming in London in November, according to the Telegraph newspaper. “Chelsy was absolutely stunning and such a sweetheart, we chatted for ages,” Hilton said of Davy at the time. (via NineMSN)
