The new Official British Monarchy website
The Queen will attend a Reception in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, 12th February, to mark the re-launch of this, the British Monarchy Website…
The new website has a more user-friendly and accessible design and utilises a number of new technological features, such as Google maps integration with the Royal Diary of Engagements as well as integration with the Royal Channel on YouTube.
The Royal website also features a wealth of new content including expanded information on the Commonwealth Realms and a new section on Royal animals.

Wow, the page on the Prince of Wales spends a LOT of time discussing Princess Diana. His marriage to the Duchess of Cornwall is almost an afterthought.
The site is missing something. Oh yeah. A section on the Royal Engagment and Wedding of Prince William and Ms. Middleton.

Did you notice at the end of PC bio they stated that when he becomes King, Camilla will be known as HRH The Princess Consort… not Queen!

Is that customary or a special case for Camilla? I wonder if Charles will change that once he is king? Queen Camilla just sounds wrong to me. Sorry but thats how I feel.

There was a lot of suggestions on what people thought about the site and what should be added to the site. I think there was a large request to have more info on Diana on the Monarchy site and videos.
That engagement announcement will come in it’s due time.
Yeah when Charles & Camilla announced their engagement, it was made clear that Camilla does not want to be crowned Queen but HRH The Princess Consort. Of course legally she will be Queen but that’s not the title she will take. I think a lot of this is done out respect for Diana and the public.

I liked the background of the old site, there was an image of the Queen and the background was purple. I just like color! Although the site has loads of new stuff , it just seems dull. Sorry. It was nice to see they added Diana as I don’t recall her on the old one. They try to forget that she did play an important role in the monarchy and history but the people will not let them! Camilla might not like it much but I bet PH and PW do. KM lucky number is 14 based on numerology, if you believe that stuff. I don’t think there will be one on Fri.13th, could be wrong.

I agree, it’s not very exciting. Also rather slow.

Looks like the patronages that Sophie was said to have lost are all back on the new website. Must of been a glitch of some sort during the transferring from the old site to the new site.

It appears that the new site doesn’t have too many fans…

I must admit I was a little disappointed when I first visited and have to agree with the reviews – navigating your way around is a mish-mash!
