In light of the rash of recent helicopter crashes, I think everyone should write to the Queen and suggest that she re-think allowing the Prince’s to fly. You can get the address from the royal site. Yes, my family has been affected by a crash.

I think it’s good that he is still allowed to fly. Some people cannot handle theory but are very capable of doing the practical. Seeing as we don’t know why he failed, I don’t think the press can really complain. They wouldn’t let him if it was not safe.

I do agree with B’s point about having to work very, very hard at somthing sometimes not necessarily being a bad thing for a career.

I believe that Harry will find his way and his place in the military.

Hmmm…I’m not sure gracie. Whilst it makes a reference to the comment that she was “on her knees”, I just doubt that this person has turned a old article to sound new. She has visited the nightclubs more than once after all. I just think this blogger saw her (not sure whether when) and exagerrated a little.

Of course people should not begin a career which there is no chance of success. However, he has done very well in the army and just because he was unable to pass the first time it does not mean he will not for the second. We do not know why he failed after all. But we have heard of excellent reports which say he is a good team player as well as a leader and is committed. He is not academically gifted (as can be seen by his A level results) so that maybe why he failed the test, but I have faith that he will keep on trying and succeed.

Sometimes the most enjoyable careers are those where people have to work very hard and where things do not come easily, but determination and hard work means that they achieve. If a person is able to do everything very easily within their job, they may become bored, a challenge is a good thing and often shapes a person. So if this challenges Harry then that’s good because he will learn from it and his character may develop as a result. It is good for people to fail at time, it helps them control their pride and prevents them from being arrogant. Natural aptitude can only get a person so far. After that it is down to hard work and motivation.

If he doesn’t have the natural aptitude required for being a pilot, Harry is far better off not trying it. It would be a frustrating experience and he’d likely get himself killed.

I’ve always felt people should follow their talent and do whatever they are good at. You’ll do better and find it more enjoyable in the end.

There are plenty of other careers that are equally if not more fulfilling and hopefully he’ll find the right one for him.
