New Idea Magazine: Kate’s Ultimate Betrayal
Australian gossip magazine New Idea has published an incredibly imaginative article alleging that Kate Middleton was responsible for a plan ‘to oust Chelsy for good’ after her split from Prince Harry.
Kate Middleton is the mastermind of a devious plot to keep Chelsy Davy away from Prince Harry. Chelsy’s friends are calling it the ultimate act of betrayal after Kate orchestrated a wild night between the newly single prince and her best pal, Astrid Harbord.
The magazine quotes a source as saying, “She always secretly wanted Chelsy out of Harry’s life.”

The magazine New Idea, does anyone know what nationality it is? Just curious.
With regards to this article and others, doesn’t it just go to show you what the media does when they catch a sighting of Kate.
The last time we saw Kate was on her return from Birkhall. After that there were only two stories. The Dean Piper story, which I didn’t believe. The other story was the Kathy Lette horse allergy story, which was supposed to have taken place under a year ago before it was reported. Then some stupid comment piece by the Times.
Then nothing, absolutely nothing. The next time we see Kate is the lunch date, and all the venom and bashing starts all over again.
Bet Kate just couldn’t wait to get back to Berkshire.
I was hoping the St.J’s team would do something about these stories, but I somehow don’t think so.
Just out of curiosity, some people have made comments that they think the press reads this site. Do you honestly believe that? Why?

I think the press reads all royal sites hoping for either confirmation of what they have heard OR for nuggets. I seem to remember one story being picked up…yes it was from the IF about the girl who say kate in the nurses uniform at the event and it confirmed they were back together or at least in the same room as each other…. so they must
how religiously, I don’t know.
I would suspect to that some, like the news of the world have sophisticated ways of tracking who is visiting the sites and who is posting what. So they can confirm who it is throwing new theories out there. Think Karagiosis. That type, I would imagine they use spy tools to confirm people’s identities.
I also know that James Middleton himself use to post at the IF. And that someone with an IP that may have been from party pieces was monitoring the site and then from a lawyers office that may have been linked to pp was viewing the pages. While this might sound made up, it is all very true.
James’ main interest while posting was in admiring his own buttocks and how beautiful it was, well as an undercover person of course!

The reason why I find Kate so interesting is because her appearences always leave you wanting more. When new pictures of her come up there seem to never be enough of them, when there’s videos of her, it never seem to last long and we never really get any audio of her talking. There’s just this image of the beautiful, loving and loyal longtime girlfriend of Prince William. I think once we really get a chance to see her in action by doing some duties and helping William out a bit, she will become more likeable to those who don’t like her. It’s like right now, we are relying on some of these so called “royal experts” to tell us who Kate is and what she’s really like and for some it’s just confusing. That’s why I hope this new team at some point, will help us understand who Kate really is and give the public a chance to know her better. The less we know about her, the worser things get.

I do think that Kate seems to get more cut rate deals than Chelsy…I wonder if Chelsy is being offered things like Kate is?
My feeling is that it is easier to prey on the middletons as they are closer but it doesn’t absolve the Davy’s of not having the ability ‘to use’ connections which i don’t see that they have done.
The middletons and espcially as of late James use their connections to garner business. Whether that is right or wrong is in the eye of the beholder. I do think you can tell how much they use their connections based on the events james has catered for and the cupcakes he has completed and put on his website. Jigsaw is featured prominently, a little kick back for Mustique? Who knows? I think it does give us insight into how the middletons became successful. They traded their connections to get where they are, again is that wrong? I don’t know.

I live in berkshire and work as a junior doctor. I have patients who comes from the very area where KM and the family live. Sometimes this comes up in conversation and I have been told by them that, Middletons are very pleasant people. They had no reason to lie to me and I beleive them.

Hello all! I am an American and a huge fan of KM and PW. They are a beautiful couple and clearly make each other happy. And PW needs all the happiness and support he can get given the difficult job and life he has ahead of him, living under the constant scrutiny of courtiers, government and the general public. Who are any of us to begrudge him the private holidays he takes on his own dime — or should I say pound? And, more importantly, who are any of us to judge others whether we’ve met them or not? What each of us does is between us and our own conscience / God / pick whatever higher power you like. I am glad to see some happiness and a bright light in the world. Thank you PW and KM for giving us some good news in dark times! (OK, I know you haven’t announced yet, but we’re all cheering for you!)

First of all, the saying goes to each his own. I like both kate and Chelsy. I see Chelsy as bright, fun loving , and cute. She is a good compliment to Harry’s personality. Kate is outoing, athletic, and a caring person. I think that is is a perfect match to William. In private, I can just see each couple persues their hobbies and interests. I am still hoping that Harry and Chelsy will come back together.
I do think that Kate and Chelsy need to be judged as who they are without getting too much into parents. I think each girl has had both benefits and draw backs to dating royals. I don’t think that you can say that Kate got this and Chelsy got that. I also don’t think that anyone needs to be calling anyone names. The bottom line is that Kate could become Queen one day and Chelsy could if she got back togetherwith Harry could become her sister-in- law. I would think that they are both aware of this. Finally with the reference to Astrid, I read that she was a part of William and Harry’s circle. Harry had to have known her well before socializing with her. Are we to say that William and Harry also are out to distance Chelsy with Harry? I am hoping that William and Kate stay together. They have withstood the test of time. I think that they are in love with each other. I am keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Me, not so loud dear, please.;) Alsgal had a slightly more than prudent amount of her Top O’the Mornin’ To Ya lime green sherbert and gin surprise yesterday. Actually, she shared the lime green sherbert with her trusty Weimaraner, Rufus the Greatus, and drank the “Mornin’” part all by herself.
Well, today came and went. No engagement. Alsgal is heartbroken, and admittedly has less money than before.:(
Alsgal is not sure how much more of this she can take, and is considering focusing all of her energies once more down at the dog track, where Alsgal once enjoyed a tremendous amount of success, if Alsgal may say so rather humbly.
Alsgal is also thinking of adding a few vines and perhaps a rose to the 18/3/09 on her backside.

I have a friend who went to University of Cape Cod with Chelsy and was in one of her classes. This is what she had to say regarding Chelsy, “She was dumb as a rock. She always had a bevy of friends who surrounded her and followed her around. She called me a few times to discuss some things. She was pretty nice though. I feel sorry for KM. She can’t do a normal day job because she gets hounded by the press everytime she goes to work { remember her 25th birthday} I am glad she works for her parents, because she is safe and she doesn’t have to deal with the press on daily bases.This negative stuff is very unkind.
This New idea artical is rubbish. New Idea probably saw that because PH is going out with KM friend. KM is trying to get CD out of PH life.{ does that make sense}.

Once Kates gets out there and talk to the crowds of people that often wait to see the royal family, then they will get a much more better view of the real Kate Middleton. There is a big false impression of her that the media prints. When KN calls her that horrible name “Waity Katie” that alone gives the wrong impression of Kate and it make people think that she is just sitting at home waiting for a ring. Due to that people start to post horrid things about her. She’s been dating William for seven years and it seems like they will make it down the isle but right now I feel that this seven year image is not enough, a genuine connection with the people is needed. The public just need a chance to get to know her better. Not everyone will like her but I bet you some of this horrible comments will change a bit. The father of Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, was facing financial disaster and possible imprisonment after the Zimbabwean government announced it was investigating him for illegal currency dealing.
Charles Davy has accumulated a multimillion dollar fortune through his big game hunting business,after it survived the wholesale seizure of white-owned farms and game reserves under the regime of Robert Mugabe.
Protection was extended to Mr Davy’s company through his business relationship with a senior minister in the Zimbabwean president’s government
Mr Davy has been the subject of questions about how his business has survived during a purge which has seen the number of white- owned businesses in Zimbabwe fall from 4,500 to 350 in the last decade.
The safari owner recently issued a robust defence of his relationship with Mr Shamu, a long-term ally of Mr Mugabe and a shareholder in HHK, saying he considered him a personal friend and denying that he had any political activity.
Mr Davy’s company has prospered from charging mostly American clients pounds 17,000 for a 24-day shooting expedition in the Zimbabwean savannah

the British are not dependent on the royal family for tourists. France is the number 1 tourist destination in the world (USA is number 2) and has been for years and years. I’m sure there are more people visiting Versailles than Buckingham Palace and more visitors to Paris than London.

Spain is the preferred destination for the long-term stays, before Italy and France. France is first only for the stays of very short duration, in front of Spain and not the USA. If you give information, at least it must be true !
Europe is the first tourist destination in the world. People begin with France and follow with spain, UK, Italy, etc….

But when reading the mails of Nyme I learned something I didnt know and just hope it will stop people bashing the Middleton family because I dont see the davy family as a model of family. Girlie, Chelsy’s family has nothing to do with Chelsy as a person. Chelsy was not photographed hunting with a gun. Kate was, and that’s why she was targeted.
Kate is getting a lot of flack on other internet forums and on youtube because she is perceived to be lazy and spoilt. Kate had so much goodwill of the people and the press at the beginning but ruined it all herself. If you look at all the youtube comments, everything that criticizes Kate gets huge thumb ups and every comment that is pro-Kate gets a lot of thumb downs.
I’m sure youtube is not exactly a scientific way of measuring popularity but it is indicative of how much Kate is disliked.
People say “Kate can’t all be bad if William is dating her for so long.” If William is dating her for so long, that’s only because he has no taste or does not have a spine.
Look at Princess Mary, Princess Letizia, and Queen Rania. Do the British really want Kate representing them abroad? If an engagement is announced, what will the non-English press say about her? “She graduated from University and worked for her family?” Mind you the British royal family is by far the most famous of all the royal families.

It is unfortunate that for whatever reason,people are coming to this site to cause trouble. Generally this site is filled with well thought out posts from a relatively small group of regular posters who enjoy discussing the topic here. The hate and venom that is being injected here is not acceptable.
I would hope that the few who are causing this utter foolishness will be swiftly banned. There are other sites that enjoy partaking in the hate, name calling and negativity, surely they have vacancies for a few new( or old) faces.
