if PW has intentions to marry KM, then it is
incumbent upon him to assist her in starting to take on some more public duties

KM’s participation in charities would be the ideal first step; PW has had many opportunities to include her in organizing some charitable events, or appearing at them, yet he has seemingly taken pains to exclude her

it would be such a help to KM’s public image, since she is still being attacked by some for seeming to be without any clear calling;

now we see photos of PW patronizing bars on guys’ night out. but this seems so adolsecent!

how must KM be feeling, to see or hear about PW and his buddies in a bar with all these other young women?

isn’t this the second time this has occurred, that we know of?

it was last fall, around the time of KM’s strange disappearance from public view that PW was attending some bar event, with the likes of paris hilton and other women.

if PW is still romantically involved with KM, then these bar visits just seem totally improper….

and if he’s not involved with her….

either way, is he helping his public image?

Hi,
I have this theory which obviously may be right but in all probability wrong.
There are many posters both on here and elsewhere who can only see one end to this story. The eventual engagement and marriage of William and Kate but who refuse to accept any negative reports. It is obvious from actuality that William has balked from marriage on more than one occasion with the RAF episode seemingly the most desperate attempt to avoid final commitment and they have a continuing history of off/on over the years so obviously there are feelings between them.. Is that a fair summary of the present position.
I think it is but still there is this presing urgency to have their position regularised when there are obviously difficulties that we probably know nothing about.
Other read the same reports but see a different outcome and see the ‘yessers’ as pushing a lost cause. They therefore retaliate by writing negative and often hurtful comments but not really against the couple because they don’t know them but against the posters who they think are looking at the matter with rose coloured spectacles because they don’t know the couple either. So to this theory.
If ‘yessers’ don’t try to dominate their views on all and sundry then the sundry will not have anything to retaliate against and will stop their attacks on Kate in particular.
May not be true but can I suggest we try it.

The fact that all the ladies you have mentioned have survived and experienced the “real life” wants me even more to have a future queen like that. I think KM has been spoon-feed too much by his parents. I am not a hater by KM but I just do not like the fact that she is not independent, bold enough to be my future queen. You know what I mean? I do not want a queen who will be spoon-feed by the commoners. AT least princes Diana who you called a “nanny” has the guts to be independent. She was not scared to live her life fully.

I want a survivor queen! Tell me what KM will do if the 16 countries are in great recession? Is she just going to poise and cut the ribbons? Is she just going to be so quiet and do nothing? I mean, for now, KM does not have the experiences or what it takes to be the future queen.

Look…KM has a good education background and so called “intelligent” But I do think KM is just smart when it comes to books, and not in real life.

But I think KM is really gorgeous except for her thin lips. And I am happy if KM really makes William happy :-p

Lisa, that’s what I thought. William was tipsy, got caught out hence St.J’s commenting on this story.

However, was the story in NOW, London or NOW, Lilliput land? Only I cannot find it.

locksmithoflove, I’m with you because I’m tierd of all the games too. Not so much of William & Kate because they will get down that isle, we just have to wait on it. What I’m tierd of is the silliness that is going on in the blogging world. Have any of you guys look at some of those royal sites lately? They are getting nasty and insane more and more everyday. It’s not about people sharing your same opinion because everybody has their own but the things they are saying, will make you think that they need some help. I don’t know how Mapleleaf do it, because she tries to calm people down with facts but they don’t give a damn about facts, they just want to be nasty towards this woman.
Rman is telling you the truth, it’s getting crazy out there.

Mathilde, thanks for letting us know about that show, I will record it.

deacon, I must say that I’m glad William gets along with her family because if he didn’t, that would be really bad. The crazy part is, he has been on vacations with them before, now all of a sudden people got a problem with it.
The Middletons seem to be a close family, Diana’s family was torn apart by divorce and was distant. I think he like that he has found a family that is close and he enjoys their company. They will most likely become his in-laws so establishing a close bond is important. William & Kate is going to need a good support group around them.

One more thing before I depart for dinner…The DM has the airline story up a second time under “news” and the byline is a different person other then KN. The odd thing is you can click on the original story from KN right from the same page. Weird.
