If they know for sure that they are meant to be, then there is no need to regret waiting.

Having kids and caring for them is not the end of the world. You can still party with your girlfriends and etc. It's the beginning of a new and more exiting life.

If he were the cheating type…he would have done it already…he would not have to wait for marriage to cheat.
It’s not necessarily true that he would follow the same marriage lifestyle as his father’s.

Hi Guys, I think that we are missing a problem with this subject. Yes Kate wants her babies and at 27 with the possibility of at least a few more years waiting it is not just that she will be in middle to late thirties when giving birth to one,two and possibly three children. It has been said here before that Kate will have spent her entire twenties and early thirties waiting, then her late thirties giving birth to her family and all her forties and early 50's ensuring her family are cared for and then supporting them through their earlier years and more importantly through their teens .She will then be 50 or nearly 50 before she will have finished caring for her family. Yes there will be nannies, servants and other support but for herself she must see her time passing. So I believe that her life is not going to be a bowl of cherries but a stressful geowing old. And all this time she may just have the thoughts that as she is caring for her family, on past evidence, William's wandering eyes may just be looking elsewhere. Wives know about 45+ wandering husbands and in William's case that worry may be magnified by his family history and the evidence of his early adventures. Things may just be looking a little black in her eyes and she may just be wondering if it is all worth while.Spare athought for her maternal longings and try to understand her thoughts and worries.

DV,
I have known dozens of women who had healthy, beautiful babies in thier late 30's and early 40's even and most has normal pregnancies.

If Kate and William want to wait then they should!

If that is true...it's not really a big deal. I know a couple of women that had their children in their late 30s. Their kids turned out to be very healthy and intelligent.

Hmm. As a professional art historian, I have to say that this isn't a particularly high-quality work of art, but as someone who takes a jaundiced view of the cult of celebrity, I recognize with some pleasure the satirical aspects -- while also pointing out that they're not entirely original. This sort of thing has been done with other celebrities, notably Elvis Presley, as I recall. My husband likes to refer to Diana as "Saint Squidgy" (we are not Diana fans in my household), and since he's a trained art historian, too, he'll enjoy this.

Post #11 I envy you. And from what I've seen of the Middletons' property it is absolutely gorgeous, an almost idyllic setting. I'm sure William is quite happy there when he visits. A loving family, a lovely girlfriend, just nice times there I hope they all have together. Judging by him going skiing with Kate's family rather than his usual Klosters jaunt, I suspect I'm not far off of the mark.

Anyway, looks like a beautiful area.

The likenesses really are quite good. The artist did a good job technically, I think. Provocative. I like it.

That's just what I got of it. It's odd and interesting at the sametime.

I agree, the triptych is not meant as flattery AT ALL. Gwyer is poking fun by claiming that interest in this figures approaches the level of "worship." I find her "critique" very superficial. Notice there are no male icons in this triptych, or in any mentioned in the article... I wonder if Gwyer addresses this gender difference in the treatment of celebrity?
