  • NYme #5 - June 6, 2009 at 10:01 am

just one more info, william plays this afternoon at The Hurlingham Club and not at the “polo in the park” event. it ‘s just two different events.

  • meg #6 - June 6, 2009 at 10:44 am

“Polo in th Park” is at the Huntingham Club.

  • NYme #7 - June 6, 2009 at 10:54 am

Yes Meg you are right, william plays this afternoo at Ham Polo Club in South-West London and not at the “polo in the park” event in the Hurlingham club.

    Looks like Kate’s a no-show…

  • meg #11 - June 6, 2009 at 1:29 pm

The captions actually say that they played at Hurlingham.

Looks like Kate couldn’t make it but we still have his birthday coming up so hopefully we will see her then.

  • meg #14 - June 6, 2009 at 2:08 pm

I don’t know if I think they’ll do anything public for his birthday. Probably no pics then either.

  • Jayhawk #15 - June 6, 2009 at 5:11 pm

Rman, I can imagine you’ll be somewhat devastated if no pictures of Kate at polo surface. I hope you don’t let it ruin your weekend though.

  • Rman #16 - June 6, 2009 at 5:37 pm

Jayhawk, I’m not devasted at all, Kate will not make it to all of his polo sessions.

I came across this artical by KN and I think it’s so dumb that she would think that William & Kate keep a low profile so they can get rid of the engagement rumors. If that was the case we wouldn’t have seen the couple at the polo event a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes I just get tierd of all this silly stuff.

Rman, it’s more chum in the waters for the Kate haters, who are frothing at the mouth today over this latest tidbit of unsubstantiated drivel.

Tabloid writers really should be careful about what they print about Kate Middleton, even the most innocuous things, especially if they are not substantiated. Because even the most harmless items about her whips a certain online element into a a rash of vicious remarks that I really do fear for Kate Middleton’s safety. Her parents should hire protection for her, honestly.

  • Hale #18 - June 6, 2009 at 7:58 pm

Guest, I’m with you all the way on that one.

Over at RIF, somebody said that KN was banned from the press conferences. If true, that will tell you what the RF thinks of KN.

Generally speaking, the Daily Mail which was once the newspaper for royal news is now in my opinion is now been sent to Siberia. I doubt the RF have forgiven R Kay for his friendship with Diana.

  • Hale #19 - June 6, 2009 at 8:09 pm

I watched the D Day commeration ceremonies earlier today. Many of the veterans were saying that the event for the British were not as well organised as the 60th anniversary because the Queen wasn’t there. Many said the Q should have been there.

Meanwhile, our prime minster was booed by the veterans at Bayeau Cathedral, and when Brown got up to give a speech at Arromanches, he was jeered and heckled.

What really ticked me off is the BBC news saying it was because of the British economy, which is simply not true. It was because of the mishandling about the Q not attending.

Following the service at Bayeau, Prince Charles spent 45 minutes chatting with the Veterans. they were as pleased as punch to see him, and one veteran shouted out, ”thanks for coming Charles.”

    That speaks volumes.

  • Hale #20 - June 6, 2009 at 8:45 pm

By the way, the weather has been awful this weekend. As well as cold. Not exactly polo watching climate.

  • gracie #21 - June 6, 2009 at 10:04 pm

Hale, Charles looked like he was crying in some pics, putting his hands over his eyes and his face was flushed. I thought he looked devistated. How could this happen? The British had more troops fighting than the Americans. I am ashamed as I heard they did not even have British flags flying. I would think that the RF must be thinking or pondering how much longer they will be relevant if these kinds of mistakes continue to happen? I also think that other RF members should have gone as well, like Anne and Andrew. Atleast Charles went. If Philip went I’d bet Sarkozy would have got an earful!

  • Guest #22 - June 6, 2009 at 10:20 pm

I’m thinking Philip’s age/condition may have presented him from travelling and/or being present for the service? I don’t know why they didn’t attend??

  • Guest #23 - June 6, 2009 at 10:21 pm

    Prevented. Sorry!

  • bluefire #24 - June 6, 2009 at 10:30 pm

its look like that kate is not there in polo

    here is other links

  • Guest #25 - June 6, 2009 at 10:53 pm

Good, I’m glad. As much as I enjoy seeing photos of her, after the nonsense I’ve read today while looking for news, I’d just as soon NOT see her until she is making her way down the aisle to William at the alter and exiting the church to a life of armed protection.

  • Rman #26 - June 6, 2009 at 11:32 pm

I pray to God that next year Kate will be allowed to shine. I pray that we finally get a chance to know the real Kate Middleton.

  • curious #27 - June 7, 2009 at 1:36 am

I am looking forward that charity musical on Wednesday. Maybe princes are at work but wish Kate can go with her sister for example.

  • Hale #28 - June 7, 2009 at 4:31 am

I don’t blame Kate for not being there. The weather is awful. Yesterday it was drizzling all day, and today we’ve had torrential rains.

  • bluefire #29 - June 7, 2009 at 8:33 am

i dont think that we should blame kate for not attending william polo game.i thinked william will understand her.I am looking forward that charity musical on Wednesday and im looking forward to see her in trooping colors order garter ceremony.

  • Lisa #30 - June 7, 2009 at 8:47 am

I do think we will see Wills and kate together at the benefit and maybe at the garter ceremony but I don’t think she can attend the trooping of the color until they are engaged.

  • Hale #31 - June 7, 2009 at 5:42 pm

bluefire, sorry to burst your bubble, but I really doubt that Kate will be at the trooping of thr colours and I would be surprised to see her at thr garter ceremony.

If Kate appears at any of them, consider it a bonus.

    Sorry.
