Kate Middleton selling Online Ads
The Mirror reports that Kate Middleton has been cold-calling local business selling online ads for her parent’s company Party Pieces…
Last week she called super-trendy Ella’s Kitchen in Henley-on-Thames, which makes organic food for children.
Staff thought it was just another sales pitch until they realised who it was. One said: “Kate’s parents live near here, but was quite odd to realise she was flogging ad space like some telesales girl though.”

That poor child. Even she is flayed alive for not working or she is villified for actually trying to help her parent’s business.
If she wee not dating Prince William, everyone would think it is fantastic she is working in the family business. But because she is dating him, she is supposed to just do good works. Of course, if she does support a charity, she is berated for exploiting her royal connections.
Hope that company that blabbed at least bought an ad.

Yes, rosetta, here we have it: KM is somehow supposed to work, but not sully herself with lucre.
Many of us on the list knew that this would be the inevitable reaction to finding “real” work … and all those who said “Why isn’t she working?” now have their answer.

While reaching for my stash of Godiva, I will speculate that removing KMs picture from the Party Pieces website is the unfortunate result of this silly, petty piece published by the Mirror. Once again, the family has to protect this young woman from unwarranted and unnecessarily vicious attacks in the press. :-[

Well I think the picture was moved due to them changing up the site a bit.
The press at times give her grief and even some of the popular royal blogs often give her grief. There’s a lot of baggage that comes along with dating William. But she proving that she is strong and in love and nothing can stop her. William is truly a very lucky guy because many other women would have ran away from all of this but Kate shall not be moved. I truly think she just deserve to shine and connect a bit with the British public, they need to see what’s behind the beauty, the real Kate Middleton that William has been dating for seven years. The press and tabs can never give us a taste of the real Kate, only Kate can do that. Once that happens, no one will pay any attention to the tabloid stories because people will be able to say that none of it is true, I met her and she is a very nice and caring person. This is just my opinion but I think people need to get to know the person behind the image. That really needs to happen.

Rman, I agree that KM should be allowed a much greater role in presenting herself.
However, the public rarely gets to know the inner lives of public figures (at least when they are alive). In NYC, while being interviewed by Matt Lauer, PH said something very interesting and very poignant. In response to Matt Lauers question about straddling two worlds, PH replied with humor and thoughtfulness that in fact he presents many different faces to the public.
I suspect when (not if) we finally get to meet KM in her own words, we will still be receiving information through multiple filters.

Yeah I know she is a private person and try to deal with her relationship in a private way but I really do think it would do some good to have a bit of insight into the real KM. I remember when Camilla first gave a speech on osteoporosis several years ago before her marriage to Charles and for the first time the media and public got a chance to hear her voice and heard why she was so passionate about the whole osteoporosis issue. Although that was a PR move, I think it gave us alittle insight on Camilla. I often think this is something Kate should do, show us what she’s really passionate about and what she’s doing to help make a difference. I hope next year this starts to happen.

With regards to removing KM’s pic from the PP site, I happen to think they just updated their site. I think the site looks a lot better, and the pics are bright, colourful and gay.
I wonder if KM took the pics?
