Princess Beatrice turns up late for New Job

Princess Beatrice has arrived late for work on the first day of her new job with the British Foreign Office. The Daily Mail reports…
The 20-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York got stuck in a traffic jam in her chauffeur-driven car after an accident. Her car was not involved in the crash.
The Princess is a fortnight into a six-week placement with a six-strong communications team. In her unpaid role she advises Britons travelling abroad how to stay safe and healthy.
A source said:
‘Beatrice thought that rather than swanning around on holiday all summer, she would rather work at a thrusting Government department. She is thoroughly enjoying her work in Whitehall.’

Wednesday 10th June – The London Palladium to see the new musical Sister Act and help raise money for The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund. On the website, chelsy davy and pippa middleton are listed! (katie nicholl is not able to report a date correctly!!!!) william and harry are joint patrons of this organisation. They will go with kate, I’m sure.
18th June 2009 – York Hall, Bethnal Green, London, will become the battle ground for 10 boxers slugging it out for the honor of one of these noble charities The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund and the Tusk Trust which william is patron (of both organisations)
13 or 14 June – Trooping the colour and polo the afternoon (I have been told)
15 june – order of the garter …

Two more events
20th June – The International Test Match between England and Australia forms the center piece of the Country Fair (20th – 21st June) with the gates opening at 10.30am and the International Test Match starting at 3.30pm.
On Sunday two local teams will once again battle it out in the Charity Match in aid of the Countryside Foundation for Education, won in 2008 by an Apes Hill Club Barbados team that included HRH Prince William, HRH Prince Harry and England captain Luke Tomlinson.

Adam Helliker actually has a similar story this weekend… about Kate doing cold calls for ad space and working long hours at PP. Also, check out the PP website. They have a new “Celebrations” section which now caters to adult parties. Wow… they’re expanding. The family must have been busy busy! Good for them.
