New Party Pics of Prince William & Kate Middleton

New photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton, taken at a friend’s party, have surfaced. Thanks to Charlotte, and Mapleleaf for the links!
Mapleleaf informs us: “The party was this past weekend in Newbury, Berkshire. Guy Pelly’s girlfriend Susanna Warren and her brother Jake Warren threw their annual ‘Folklore’ party at their place. Chelsy was there as well, although no pics of Harry have surfaced.”

mapleleaf……magic.
I for one do not believe Harry was there.
June 18th, 2009 11:33
I’m going to be the contrarian and ask, did we really need to see these pictures? Aren’t they entitled to some privacy?
June 18th, 2009 11:51
It’s nice to see these pictures but no we really didn’t need to see them. I guess after people talk so bad about them and their relationship, you become happy to see pics like this. Also it’s nice to see the couple out having fun but their privacy must be respected.
June 18th, 2009 12:14
yeah it is not good that someone at that party let those shots get out but I am not surprised and I will leave it at that.
June 18th, 2009 12:31
Aside from seeing them together, what a bonus to see how cute they are dressed alike as well……
June 18th, 2009 12:44
Yeah I like that they are dressed alike and they can’t keep their hands off each other. Very loved up.

Facebook: A friend of a friend connected to Chelsy (she looked pretty too in the Folklore bash).
Harry has missed out various charity and fun parties. Perhaps he is avoiding a showdown with Chelsy.

I’m glad the pics of W & K were posted. I relish the fact they are clearly very much a couple dressed in matching outfits and thoroughly enjoying themselves. No true, we didn’t need to see them, but I am so glad we did.
Yaaaayyyy!
June 18th, 2009 16:16
Cute pictures! Thanks, M-L!
I also understand those who are a little uneasy. But truly, the pictures are fairly discrete. (And I am assuming there are only two of them, not a whole nights worth of stalking
)
I just finished reading in the HOLA. com site about an interview given by Harry and William.
http://www.hola.com/noticias-de-actualidad/18-06-2009/66476/
It claims William himself wants to see action … in the battlefront! Does anyone now where the English version of this interview has been posted?
Based on what I read, he does not read this forum, or he would know exactly the action we want him to start and see through

I hope Kate attend Wimbledon as she is one of the few royals (not yet) that attend the matches like Diana did. I think it’s ashame as Wimbledon and the park etc. belong to the Spencers they had one of many homes on the estate. Someone from the Spencer family should represent them even if it’s Kitty.
June 18th, 2009 17:12
It’s nice to see Prince WIlliam having some fun with his g/f kate… But will HE EVER make Kate HIS BRIDE??……..i am afraid she’s losing her own time one can def tell that WIll isn’t IN LOVE with her…
June 18th, 2009 17:20
Thank you Me! The video is exactly what I was looking for.
June 18th, 2009 19:39
Gracie she most likely will go to Wimbledon, she just went recently to a Spencer wedding…tickets please.
June 18th, 2009 20:09
Me, what do you mean by “tickets please?”
June 18th, 2009 21:02
Courtesy tickets, she plays and loves tennis.
June 18th, 2009 23:11
Me,I suspected as much regarding these FB pictures. As much as I love getting a peek into W/K private life,I hate to see them dragged into this leaking of FB pic that seem to follow Chelsy around. As I stated previously,I think it played a major role in the breakup of H/C. You can’t be with Harry or William and have your friends or friends of your friends posting pictures all over FB. JMO.
June 18th, 2009 23:28
Well Lisa
I loved seeing the pictures, and to be totally fair this is only the 2nd time in two years that this has happened. Their friends are pretty tight and they pick them for that purpose. None of these pictures were sold to any newspapers (as yet) they were only on internet forums. It’s an isolated incident in my opinion. They are not going to be able to stop everything but they have done a pretty good job so far…

I’m wondering has anyone noticed that Kate is very often wearing black boots?
June 19th, 2009 10:05
June 19th, 2009 10:17
Indeed MapleLeaf. I think like Princess Anne Kate maybe frugal and likes to re wear things that work! Good for her.
June 19th, 2009 10:20
^^True but the last time she wore them and we the public got to see a photo of her black boots was a few months back leaving a restaurant with William and this past weekend Folklore party.
June 19th, 2009 10:56
I love this web-site. I’ve read it every day for several years and I’m glad there are loyal Kate Middleton supporters out there. Has anyone ever thought that maybe, just maybe Prince William Loves Kate in boots and she wears them to please him???
June 19th, 2009 11:01
JJ and Me, that’s all true. Everyone knows I’m a big supporter of Kate, but I do wish she’d wear boots less often, especially black boots.
Kate has worn black boots so much it’s become a cliche. I’m not like some people who thnk she wears the same pair of black boots all the time; I don’t believe that for a minute!
I believe Kate simply owns several pairs of black boots in a similar style, but I do wish she would wear boots less often, and that when she does wear boots, that she would wear different styles and colours more often.
It would be nice to see Kate wear some pretty sandals every now and then during the summer.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being frugal, although IMO Princess Anne carries it to a ridiculous extreme.
June 19th, 2009 11:13
Well it seems like she keep those boots in very good condition and just like wearing them. To me, she looks good in them. JJ I agree Kate seem to be very frugal and like many of the royals, she wears things over and over again. I notice the Queen like to wear the same black heels over and over again. They are very well polished and still look good but she wears them all the time. Now for those of you that want to know what black shoes I’m talking about, here is the picture of Her Majesty in her famous black heels:
http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/88426444/Getty-Images-Entertainment
If you go back and view pictures of the Queen, you will see that she always have those heels on. Being frugal is good.
June 19th, 2009 11:17
Indeed Eliza
PW may well be ahem a boot man…
June 19th, 2009 11:19
Well ML
If she makes it into the firm I doubt we will ever see those boots again… But then again didn’t we see the Queen in recently of brown boots..
Rman yes I know the ones you mean. I think the Queen also has several pairs of the same type of shoe.
June 19th, 2009 11:27
I think she looks great in boots. I love to wear them as well. However summers are hot here around 95 to 100 degrees sometimes hotter so I wear them as much as possible in the fall and winter. I am sure she has more than one pair of black boots too.
June 19th, 2009 11:33
Well when Kate wears any boots, my England friends confirm that the specific date was rainy and soggy.
June 19th, 2009 11:34
If the PM (personal messages) are correct, this past Folklore party had access to “outdoor” (garden), the weather has been kind of wierd.
June 19th, 2009 12:00
JJ I think she has a couple pairs of the same shoe too but I’m just saying that the Queen always wear those shoes and she has some white ones and brown ones but the black shoes is what she sticks too. Black shoes or boots goes with almost everything. Kate just like wearing them.
June 19th, 2009 12:27
Eliza, enjoyed your post. Sorry, but hadn’t notice you before.
Excuse me guys, perhaps there is another reason Kate wears boots. It may be a form of empowerment.
There are those on other sites who claim Kate is weak, feeble etc….but I say the opposite and Kate wearing boots proves it.
Kate is letting her man no she takes no ****. Trust me on this. Nancy Sinatra sang a song abut it…..remember?
”These boots are made for walkin’….and that’s just what they do…..and one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.”
June 19th, 2009 13:55
I think Kate simply loves to wear boots because she has long legs? I wear same flip flops all the time in summer because it’s hot and steamy and I love to show my big toes!
June 19th, 2009 15:01
Thanks Hale, but you’re actually pretty observant since the post you commented on is my first ever time posting here!!
June 19th, 2009 15:06
Hale is very observant!!
June 19th, 2009 16:37
Happy 10th wedding anniversary to The Earl & Countess of Wessex.
June 19th, 2009 17:34
Hmmm
I just viewed the Harry and Wililam video. Harry did seem much more comfortable infront of the camera. Could this be because he is under less pressure? I think the difference between Harry and William in front of the camera is that William’s appearces come across to me as heavily rehearsed and media trained where as Harry comes across as a natural..
There was some very good banter between the boys and a hints of competitiveness between them. Harry seemed to get a lot more attention.. I wonder how this will play out. William came across as VERY young to me.. Like he was still 21 years old. Is that just me??
June 19th, 2009 17:47
Ohhh I think William protects, cares for, and truly loves and watches over Harry.
June 19th, 2009 18:17
jj, I too saw a marked difference in the way both the princes reacted to the questions they were thrown.
We know they both hate the press, but I did feel that Harry seemed more relaxed with them and came across as a natural. I noticed this first when he was in New York and did the Matt Laure interview. It was a stark contrast from his return from Afghanistan interview.
Also, I recall a couple of years back when PC, PW & PH were interviewed by Ant & Dec. Harry didn’t say a word.
Again, when Mat Laure (sorry, I’ve forgotten how to spell his name) interviewed PW & PH, it was as if PH had to fight in order to speak.
The difference now. PH comes forward and people just listen. Whereas, I felt, William was slightly………disconnected.
IMO, William has yet to relax with the press. In fact, William needs to learn how to chill out when he is in the public eye.
I do think St.J’s should obtain the services of someone who can coach him with his presentations.
June 19th, 2009 18:18
JJ, William seemed rather peeved as Harry was getting all the questions. Harry seems apprehensive when answering then when he answer William chimes in with “have you left ground yet” about Harry wanting to fly in Afgan. Actually it was rather rude as William should no better to not interupt and Harry did not look as though he thought it all that funny. I caught the very end which I did not see orginally and they ask William about going to Afgan and he replies “if Harry could do it I can’t see why I can’t.” The tone was very sarcastic and to be quite honest it reminds me of some of things Ked has said about Williams temperment. I don’t think it’s good they are both flying as it is obvious that William can’t deal w/his brother getting more attention than he does. I think he came across as a brat who is use to getting his way at all times. I was not impressed. Harry acts like an abused child when they do interviews together as I suppose it because William is the heir or maybe Harry does not want to be humiliated in public. I am not saying that William does not love his brother, but I do think he is jealous of him and that can make their relationship difficult one. Maybe it’s because Harry has hair and William is losing his?
June 19th, 2009 18:33
Hale,JJ, I am so glad that ya’ll brought this up as I thought the same thing. My husband TiVo it for me as it was on NBC nightly news w/Brian Williams. He knows I am a royal junkie. He to thought that William came across as an arrogant arse. Harry was not the confident man he was in NYC because he is not allowed to be as IMO I think he might feels as though William will critique him or belittle him w/his snide remarks. If Harry is truly having a hard time learning to fly, then William should not make jokes about it especially in public. Kate’s probably the only one that will deal with him.
June 19th, 2009 18:44
William will always be very protective of his young brother but William also know that Harry is growing up and have a voice of his own now so he lets Harry do his own thing. William will always be a little more reserved than Harry but he is more relaxed infront of the camera’s now. William has come a long way from the kid who didn’t want anything to do with the press, to a young man who can now handle the press. Although he will be 27 soon, he still looks like a young kid but everyone who knows him much more personally, will tell you that he has an old soul and wise beyond his years.
June 19th, 2009 18:45
I have said it and been criticized before for saying that about the boys relationship. I see will as more arrogant and knowing his position and people catering to him more as he is the “golden child” . There is sibling rivalry like with all children, but William did look annoyed that Harry was getting all the attention. Harry definitely comes across as more natural, he doesn’t seem pompous.
June 19th, 2009 18:55
I would like to add that all the Windsor men have a bit of a temper problem. Family & friends of the late king (George VI) had a bad temper problem and the only person that could calm him down was the Queen Mother, Camilla is known to be the only person that can calm down Charles and I’m sure Kate calms down William.
June 19th, 2009 19:09
Also know as a “God Complex!”
June 19th, 2009 19:10
gracie and maddie, I agree with both your comments. Harry came out the better, but probably feels he has to take a step back because his brother is second in line to the throne.
What I found interestng though, is if you watch the interview again, during the interview William physically takes a step back for Harry.
I wonder if they will ever be interviewed again together? If so, Harry will probably be told to say nothing just as in the Ant & Dec interview.
journey, I to thought of Ked when watching this interview.
I know William is reserved, and perhaps arrogance maybe his defence mechanism. Harry is the outgoing one. However despite their two year age gap, I did think that Harry came out looking the maturer.
I’m beginning to think, because William is more protected, and doesn’t socialise across boundaries as Harry does, William perhaps maybe marginalising himself too much. If that makes sense.
In contrast to Harry, whom it is benefitting.
June 19th, 2009 19:11
I just personally recognize that William lets Harry have his say because if he didn’t, that would become a problem between the brothers. He don’t treat Harry with kid gloves too much, he knows that he is a man now and have his own thoughts, feelings and his must express them.
I do think there is a hint of sibling rivalry between them. William see that Harry is a bit freer because he’s not in his position. I think there was a little sibling rivalry between the Queen and her sister too. Princess Margaret had more fun than the Queen and although Margaret got sick early in life, she lived life to the full while the Queen had to carry the heavy burden of the monarchy on her shoulders.
June 19th, 2009 20:16
Now here is a report that state’s Harry & Chelsy was at the party.
http://tinyurl.com/mft8sk
June 19th, 2009 20:36
I feel terribly uncomfortable speculating so negatively about what otherwise seems such a lovely sibling relationship.
Yes, Wills looked uncomfortable with Harry talking. But is it not possible that his discomfort comes from a deep sense of protectiveness? We do know that Harry has had in the past a bit of “foot in mouth” disease. He certainly has acquitted himself fabulously in the last two live interviews, but Wills still might feel leery of mistakes.
Also, and lets face it, Harry has been to war, and chances are he might get to go again. If Wills feels strongly about the importance of service for the future head of the armed forces, it must grate that he did not get to go to the battle field, and for all his desire, probably never will. No resentment against Harry, just annoyance at the restrictions of his position.
Finally, it may be time to consider the gastrointestinal question. It is the second time (Garter being the first) that Wills seems unaccountably yet momentarily upset. Rman, you knew about the family history of temper; does dispepsia also run in the family?
June 19th, 2009 21:08
Clearly William cares for Harry-cooking for him, helping hin study for flying helicopters, etc. What was shown might not be anger but a kind of frustration. It is hard for him to look as comfortable and at ease as Harry does. Their pesonalities and expectations are different. William might try to portray himself more like Harry but realizes he is not his brother. Does that take away from William? No, but William has to discover that. We all have out talents and Harry’s talent is that of a person with an outgoing personality. That is good. William is more reserved in public and that is also good. It will help him with some of the more serious duties that he will have as a king of the UK.
June 19th, 2009 22:02
In the videos I watched, I did see the sibling rivalry. They both made teasing, sarcastic remarks towards each other. But they also made some caring remarks as well. They seem to have a close brotherly relationship, and it definitely seems like a healthy and close one.
IMO Harry came across as more articulate and laid back than Wills, but in all of the videos I saw, Wills seemed willing to let Harry be the focus of the journalists. He even stepped back a couple of times, sort of a physical gesture of ‘taking a back seat’ during the interview.
Wills definitely let Harry have his say, and Harry did a good job. I think Rman is right, and Wills is more relaxed in front of the cameras than he has been in the past, but he isn’t as relaxed as Harry.
All in all, I’d say they both did a great job, and it was really nice to have this insight into their lives and their relationship with each other. The thing that struck me the most is their closeness.
And it’s very telling that Wills said “Harry is very modest, but he’s very smart. I spoke with his instructor, and Harry is doing a fantastic job”
 That statement was pure Protective Big Brother. My question is, did Charles speak with Harry’s flight instructor? Did Charles ever speak with Wills’ flight instructor?
Sibling rivalry and teasing aside, Wills and Harry seem to lean exclusively on each other.
I saw Miguel Head standing in the background at the end of one video, and it reminded me that the Wales brothers chose to have a joint office in St. James Palace, not separate offices. They also have a couple of charities that they are joint patrons of, and they often play polo matches for each other’s charities.
Wills and Harry seem to be two totally different guys, but even with their differences, they also seem to be very close to each other emotionally.
That’s what came across in the interview.

Well Rman
I’m a little confused with this article. Are they referring to the folklore party? Chelsy wore a white outfit at the folklore party so I am assuming that Duncan Larcombe is talking about a separate event as he mentions in his article that Chelsy wore a black low cut number??
June 20th, 2009 00:42
JJ, Duncan Larcombe was right about what Chelsy was wearing.
Chelsy wore a black strapless dress with a cute butterfly clip in her hair at the Warrens Folklore party:

oooops my bad I remembered her wearing something altogether..
June 20th, 2009 03:52
It is very interesting reading others thoughts on William’s body language in interviews. William can clearly remember how his Mother reacted to the Press and I’m quite sure that this impacts on how he currently reacts. I feel that in time he will be able to relax more but I don’t think he will ever be completely relaxed with them, he will never forgive them for the way they treated his much loved Mother.
June 20th, 2009 05:01
I pray Duncan Larcombe is wrong.
June 20th, 2009 05:37
Wills and kate look so cute together!!! Can’t wait for pics of will’s b’day!!!
June 20th, 2009 05:56
First of all, to judge William and Harry’s relationship or the impression they give during interviews, you really do have to understand their sense of humour.
Secondly, that article about William angering the bullying campaigners was really interesting. So Harry can tease William with his baldness, but William can not mention Harry being ginger wihthout being called a bully? Is it because the founder of the charity is ginger too? Just bad luck for William that she isn’t bald…..? Weird.
