I agree guys, I don’t think anything like that will come this year but I believe early next year we will get the news. I think he will celebrate his birthday with the woman he loves and with family & friends.

I agree,this year is not happening. I was surprised the PA actually stooped as low to print the silly bookmaker crap. I don’t really see anything that tells me that they will marry next year,either. I think W/K are putting this off as long as they can and I am now thinking they won’t marry until nine months before their first child is born. Although they live in a fishbowl now,that fishbowl gets a whole lot smaller after they marry. JMO.

Morning All,
If it comes soon that would be great but I really think next year will be it. This year they have really worked hard to keep a low profile, makes very few appearences and they are just focusing on his training. I think they chose 2009 to be focus time and then next year they wll deal with the engagement and wedding. I really believe what Judy Wade was saying in her Hello! artical, next year it will kick off. So lets just wish him a happy birthday and try not to get all worked up about an engagement. Be patient.

Sorry to be a party pooper Red Lady but I don’t believe anything will happen today or tomorrow. Watching that video of William and Harry made me even more convinced that it isn’t going to happen any time soon. He’s just too young.
I hope he has a great birthday though and I hope we see some pictures…

I didn’t see anything in that video that told me William is too young for anything. He is wise, deep and knows what to talk about and what to keep quiet about.
I don’t think the news tomorrow will be about an engagement. Purely because I don’t think they would annonce such a thing on a Sunday, specially not on a Sunday when they have a charity polo match to attend…….I wouldn’t mind being wrong though.

the engagement announcement is too big a deal to make it in conjunction with anything else. It will be a stand alone celebration on a major news day. So, it won’t be a Sunday when no one is paying attention to the news. It won’t be on his birthday, or when he is making another public appearance.
I think the recent public appearances are part of a build up to it. We haven’t seen them in a while, then there are the polo matches. Soon, maybe a charity event. Then later this year, but in time for Christmas buying, there will be an announcement, with the wedding sometime after May of next year.

JJ I don’t think William is too young, he just look like he’s too young but lets face it, he’s getting older now. I can say that because I’m the same age as William. William has a young face and people thinks he acts a bit immature but I he’s a man now with an old soul.

It has been quite a week or so and I’m still catchibg up with some of the posts. I must say I was surprised to see the private photographs obviously ’stolen’ from someone’s facebook but even more surprised to see them copied on this site to the obvious joy and self congratulations of some posters.
Really I too love seeing them together and so oblivious of the camera because they thought they were amongst trusted company. How wrong they were but how much worse are those who publish and copy them.
Look guys it must be obvious to the world that these two are together, not officially engaged, just together but if their private moments are to be stolen , what effect will it have on them and who can they trust?
They have a reason why they are not engaged and I still believe that it will be 3/4 years yet before a formal announcement but leave it alone and just rejoice that at this moment they are together.

Nice to hear from you. I don’t think anyone on this forum (and I’m making a big assumption here) took joy in the photographs being stolen. They were out there already just like the pictures of PW when he was urinating on the african bike ride. We took joy in the fact that they are together and appear to be happy. Like I mentioned before this has only ever to my knowledge happened twice the freaky naughty pictures and these folklore pictures (I don’t count last years birthday photographs because I think it was just a member of the public which took those). It happens very occasionally and it shows that the circle of friends which they do have are trust worthy most of the time and that what they are doing i.e. keeping their relationship private is working.
We are happy for them and time will tell if they make it to the next level.

Of all the stuff you have eluded to right here on this very site about prince William and his supposed cheating, conspiracies etc. No,you never posted a private picture but you surely eluded to private information at the very least. Those pictures were posted everywhere,why shouldn’t Steven post them? I agree that it sucks that their privacy was breached but to be honest,William and Kate make the value of their pictures higher by playing the games they do in regards to the media and not showing any affection in public.

Additionally, as far as the “stolen” pictures…I think “stolen” is the wrong word. Unauthorized as far as the consent of William and Kate maybe but to call a spade a spade,anytime your in a room with Chelsy Davy, her friends and a camera, you risk being posted on FB and other sites. If W/K do not know this by now,they are truely oblivious.

That is why I will never have a facebook account…
I had NO idea that is where the pictures came from. I did think that someone who snapped the two pictures (and there where only two or three) posted them themselves. This action would have still benn an invasion of privacy, but a very small one, as the pictures where utterly innocuous.
Knowing that they were taken without authorization from the picture taker makes me a little less comfortable. Though I am not sure why.

Sorry, I can’t get angry at the FB pics being posted. I was really happy to see them, and I’m hoping it might stem those who STILL insist W & H broke up. Despite being snapped at Polo together.
I don’t know about anyone else here, but sometimes I find it quite exhausting doing battle on their behalf. What’s more, there’s no OBE’S in it.
Meanwhile, has anyone given any thought to the fact that perhaps William may have wanted those pics posted?
Lets face it, we know from the H & C break up that the press themselves intrude on Facebook. It is also well known, that many Sloane’s actually go on to work in the media.
Whose to say this isn’t William’s way of defending what is said about their relationship, and in his own subtle way, letting it be known their are a ‘together’ couple.
We’ve recently had confirmation of a press agreement, and what was even more interesting to me, we also had recent confirmation that Gerrard Tyrell, is not only representing Kate against the press, but also represented William in that farcical story about the helicopter.
Add to that, it was either on this site or RIF, that a poster remarked Katie Nicholl was banned from being part of the press core allowed to cover the events which Harry took part in when in NY. Which would explain why she didn’t produce an article about it. Yet we knew she was in NY because someone provided us with a link she gave to a news channel.

LOL, that’s very true. Hale I’m glad you bought that up because yeah, I do get tierd participating in these battles and sometimes you just wish that all of this would come to an end and we will be able to move on from all of this speculation and get to the good stuff. So I hope that next year all of this will come to a full circle and we will be able to help Britain celebrate their union. I like to tell myself that this is not our battle to fight but it’s the Lords battle and everytime I see this couple, I realize that they are going on strong despite the obstacles in their way so that gives me hope for the future. So I try to let the (N-Sers) talk all they want to because they are going to get a rude awakening when that announcement is made.

The article almost sounds like Kate is going to Malibu and going to work w/Wintour, like house sitting for William while he’s training? It could be taken as a pay off or engagement, but it is the same old stuff other than the Malibu home which has been circulating on the blogs.
